This is a Star Trek based 1x1 RP based on the canon chronology. It has its origins in the Eugenics Wars of 1992-1996. A group of Augments NOT loyal to Khan and wanting nothing to do with his war are forced to flee Earth as enemies of both Khan and humanity.
They lacked the arrogance of Khan and his followers and would have happily served humanity, though they saw their human brethren as likely to destroy themselves as quickly as Khan would. They were not raised to become the future leaders of Earth.
Khan saw their refusal to join them as a betrayal. For that he turned humanity on them by hinting at collaboration. Humans saw their refusal to get involved as confirmation.
In the end, like Khan, they sought their destiny among the stars.
