It's time for a Star Wars search because I haven't had a SW RP get going in a while.
I'm mostly looking for sequel era right now.
Read the rules, make sure we're compatible, and send me the code if you like what you see!
I'm going to sort this a bit differently than usual. I'm going to include the OCs I'm looking to play and dynamics, but I'm also going to include canons I like to play (NOT a definitive list) and ideas of dynamics I like with them, in case you are on the fence but kinda struggling to link ideas together, lol.
OCs Across Poe Dameron
I'm craving writing across Poe the most.
OCs Across Armitage Hux
OCs across Kylo Ren
Me writing Kylo Ren:
Me writing Armitage Hux
Me writing as Finn
Me writing for Poe
I definitely will write others, I just haven't written them nearly as much. Rey, Phasma, Rose, plenty of others are on the table if we can make them work!

1. Don't God-Mod. In other words, don't make my character speak, don't make my character take damage, and don't control my character. If you want something to go a certain way for plot purposes, just PM me and ask. Usually, I accept "god-modding" during travel and the like. It is usually acceptable to assume movement if a character is already committed to the journey.
2. Please be able to play all genders, and play multiple roles. Your main character(s) may be just male or just female, but I expect all the side characters and NPCs to have life and flavor, too.
3. I always double regardless of pairings involved, so you are also expected to double.
4. On the note of characters: I will always play one female character. So, be aware of that. I'm open to all pairing types, and have enjoyed all, so come at me with what you want!
5. I only RP on threads, (or GDocs in rare cases; you’ll have to convince me because I hate cluttering it up), so no PM, discord, e-mail, or other rps with me. So that I know you’ve read the rules this far, please let me know what your favorite Star Wars moment is!
6. Please be able to write more than a couple of sentences as responses to me. I have tried to do “simple” RPs, but I end up not feeling motivated to respond or continue the RP. I will need you to be able to write a paragraph or two, each post, at least.
7. PM if you are interested. The only reason for you not to PM me is if you cannot do so due to the fact you haven't reached 24 hours/10 posts.
Guidelines:
1. I do not like to be hassled for posts. Especially if I have already posted that day or the day before. Do not bother me for posts until at least two days have passed. Otherwise, I will start to resent our RP and lose interest in it.
2. I enjoy OOC talk, however I will not respond to "hi" or "-poke-" or equivalents. Have substance to the chatter, even if it just asking "How are you?".
3. Do not bump our thread, or do anything OOC in the IC thread. I will not post out of spite. I have a problem with this, I acknowledge it, I'm not fixing it.
4. On that matter, please keep OOC to PMs and not on our IC thread. IC is for posting. If you have a question, concern, or comment, just shoot me a PM.
5. In general, I do not enjoy immediate romances or "slice-of-life" RPs, so do not come to me expecting I'll do either. I do want romance in 9 out of 10 cases, though. I may make rare exceptions.

OCs Across Poe Dameron
I'm craving writing across Poe the most.
I love playing as a Tarkin so you'll see this frequently. I love the dynamic of Rebel Scum and Imperial Scion. In my play of Tarkins in the Sequel era, they are opposed to the First Order, but not aligned with Leia. This leaves room for a formal, diplomatic meeting to arrange an alliance. It also leaves room for plenty of battlefield mishaps, heroic rescues from either side to win favor in alliance negotiations, and plenty of bitter spats over ideology from two cocky people.
The Pryde would be a First Order spy in the Resistance. Possibly a member of Poe’s squadron, or sent on a recon mission with him. They'd develop some familiarity before the Big Reveal – and through this she'd be reconsidering her alliances.
Another huge favorite, adding in a trueborn Hux in either the Naval and/or Intelligence side of the Order. Obvious loathing. Works best with forced proximity, like starships crashing, or both of them at an event vying for the same ally (luxury starship?, Planetside event?), that ends up forcing them into a temporary alliance themselves.
OCs Across Armitage Hux
Tarkin is still very against the Order, so this is an enemies to lover situation. I've done one where Armitage was kidnapped from the Order. There's potential in Tarkin being taken prisoner, as well. Either one could set a negotiation trap. Forced proximity with ally recruiting is another option.
This is an old idea when of theory was that the KoR were former students of Luke who fell away with Kylo. I imagine this starting as something of a body guard relationship, but it could also be (or include) special ops.
OCs across Kylo Ren
An apprentice from Darth Vader’s line (not Vader directly), separate from Palpatine who had influence on a relatively out of the way planet with Sith history. The Order comes upon it, and must reckon with a potential threat – but also a potential ally.
Kylux but with Armitage’s OC sister. Same toxic as fuck vibes.
Me writing Kylo Ren:
I love to write him in antagonistic situations, but not straight up enemies to lovers without a lot of talking it out, because there's a lot of potential for death in that situation. I like to play him heading towards redemption, but actually make him fucking earn it.
I think he does well playing off: Knights of Ren, Sith, Mercenaries, and other First Order operatives. Diplomats and Ambassadors also have potential. A rebel spy would also work!
I want angst with him. Whether he's Supreme Leader or still just a Knight, I want him struggling with every decision, and I want your character causing some of these struggles.
I'm not interested in playing him across new to the Force characters. I don't enjoy a heavy student-teacher vibe.

Me writing Armitage Hux
They did my boy so dirty.
I see Armitage as a kicked dog. He wants power, but he's trapped in a system set to deny him power at every turn. He’s caught in a free fall, and things keep getting worse. I don't plan to play him for comedic effect. I'd love to explore the damage his childhood did to him as a cadet.
I'd love for him to get a sense of power and control, and actually develop a sense for what he wants.
I think a pairing across a rebel spy would be great, someone in a position who can start nudging him towards redemption.
Outright forced proximity with an evemy also has a lot of delicious potential.
This man needs conflict so anything that starts challenging his beliefs, I'm here for it.

Me writing as Finn
Ok, hear me out – what if Finn was descended from Rae Sloane?
I want Finn to have a discovery story. I want Finn to confront those he betrayed and find a voice outside of yelling “Rey!” I want his talent in the force to grow!
So some ideas would be another Rebel, another Force Sensitive, a former co-worker, heck even an ally/diplomat he turns from the Order!
I'm not opposed to student-student with Finn, wherein neither take up a true teacher role, but are both novices and learning from each other.

Me writing for Poe
If I'm writing Poe, I want to write across someone with good banter!
A Merc with a mouth, a convenient ally, a rebel just as bad at torture sessions – I need someone who can play off of Poe there! I need that hype energy. So you gotta come to me with some energy and tension in anyone you bring for Poe, no wallflowers.
Though I do want him to have something of a “come to Jesus” moment, I'm not sure how or in what area I want that to occur. I want his arrogance to backfire, hard. I want terrible consequences from a decision he was a part of. And I want him to grow from it.
