The new house was... creepy.
That was to say the least really, it looked like it was a hundred years old. Falling apart almost. Holland Gilchrist stood outside in the dead grass. She had only just arrived to her new home and already she wanted to turn right around and go back. And she had only seen the outside of the house. Maybe Holland was a bit paranoid, she always had been in her teen and childhood years. The brick of the house just looked so... old and dirty.
She dug the toe of her shoe into the soft ground, wishing her new roommate would show up soon. Holland knew she needed to go inside though, it would look mighty strange if she just stood outside forever. She slowly made her way to the door, unlocking it with the key she was sent in the mail.
The inside looked a lot nicer than she thought. It looked like someone had redone the whole inside. The carpet was new and plush and the walls were freshly painted. Holland was actually finding it really nice and almost comfortable.
