  What is the Sponsor Market?

  
  Sponsor's are wealthy people who use their money to help advance the player they are sponsoring by providing them with gifts. They can also sabotage another sponsor by throwing challenges at the the players on the Island, however, in turn their own player may or may not be affected by the challenges as well. This market is where the Sponsor's can use the points they earn from their players, or the money they brought with them, to air drop gifts to the island. A sponsor can not gift items to a player of another sponsor or risk being thrown onto the island themselves. Within this thread is sponsor purchases only in the form of:

• Weapons Section

  About the Weapons

  
  Weapons are listed in categories from melee to ranged to sort of magical and everyday. The quality of the items also impact the point price of the items as well. A broken but somewhat useable item may cost only 10 points while a used but barely worn out item might cost 50 points. This gives the players a drive to work hard in order for their sponsor's to but them the best items possible. Items might also be added in the future as the game grows.

  Armors are not generally what one would consider. They are made of materials from the island unless provided by the sponsors. The armor provided by the Sponsors is categorized like the weapons, but their quality is all used condition. The prices of the armor differs with what kind of armor is being bought.

  • Challenge	Description	Point Value	Points Earned
    Fire	A sponsor controlled fire where they choose a point on the map, set a duration of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or one hour, and wait. The fire will extinguish itself at the end of the time period.	730 points	100 points
    Frost	Similar to the fire challenge, frost spreads quicker and lasts longer even after the time limit is up. Players caught in the frost will freeze quickly if they are not equipted or prepared for it.	850 points	200 points
    Insects	A swarm of biting insects invade a part of the island for 30 minutes. They attack living creatures only, biting deep into the flesh and leaving nasty wounds. Some are even capable of causing severe infection.	945 points	300 points
    Animal Mutant	A sponsor is able to choose an mutated animal of their choosing (Panther, Dire Wolf, Tiger, Alligator, Python) and release it anywhere onto the island. The animal is a threat to the players until it is killed, rewarding the sponsor the points.	1015 points	800 points
    Fog	A rolling, dense cloud of fog comes down from the top of the mountain to spread across the entire island. It brings mysterious ghastly threats that will target any player directly exposed to the fog. The boundary to which it stops is the edge of the tree line, forcing all players back onto the beaches.	1145 points	400 points
