Hey everyone! I'm Riliane. I'm 21 years old, and I work part-time at Papa Johns as a manager and I also go to college full time. I've been roleplaying since I was 12 and it's something I still really enjoy! It also keeps me somewhat sane with everything going on nowadays.
I absolutely love having conversations with my partners. Either about the roleplay plot, ideas, or even just about what's going on in our lives, and I love making new friends with roleplaying. As long as we talk about a plot enough, I can write almost anything!
I would like to apologize if I accidentally ghost you. I’m easily distracted and very forgetful and I also have been struggling with a viral infection for the past few weeks so my body is very tired from fighting back this illness. If I haven’t said anything in a week, there’s a good chance that I may have forgotten our roleplay or am unsure how to respond. Just give me a nudge and I’ll get back to you!
For RP preferences, I can write any pairing. I'm also up for platonic relationships and familial relationships too! I tend to do at least a couple of paragraphs of writing per person I am writing for, so please try to be at least semi-literate. I tend to double up with my roleplays, though I will sometimes agree to do single roleplays. However, I will not do groups whatsoever. I find it too confusing and would prefer to just do one on ones.
I am totally down to do Canon x OC or OC x OC for Splatoon. Though my knowledge of anything outside of the main games is rather limited, so please bear with me! There are a lot of things that I can and will roleplay, including the majority of the AUs that come with Splatoon. Listed below are a few base plotlines I have that we can use, however I am also up for suggestions as well as just doing the normal Splatoon world we know of.
Before The Great Turf Wars
Splatoon has a lot to offer, but from what I remember, not much is known about the world before the Great Turf War happened, so we could easily place a storyline here and explore ideas with Craig, Octavio or even just our OC's before the Great Turf Wars and then leading into the Great Turf Wars.
Octarians Won the Great Turf Wars
We know the Inklings won the war and the Octarians were forced to live in the desolate Octo Valley and Octo Canyon, but what if it was different? What if Octavio had led his people to victory during the Great Turf Wars? We can explore this timeline, see how the Octarians have established their own society in the good parts of the land while the Inklings are struggling to live in the underground domes of the valley and the canyon (names pending)
Great Turf Wars
What if the Great Turf Wars 100 years ago didn't happen? What if the Inklings and Octarians were able to live peacefully even with the rising sea levels? But 100 years later, tensions start to rise between the Inklings and Octarians for one reason or another and there is talk among both races that their leaders are going to go to war against each other. We can explore what the Turf Wars would be like in modern day, as well as maybe have a storyline to have our OCs try to figure out how to stop the wars from happening.
Revenge
After 100 years of being stuck in the domes in Octo Canyon and Octo Valley, the Octarians are fed up and plead to their King to try and change things. Octavio begins to work towards declaring war on the Inklings to defeat them and force the Inklings into Octo Canyon and Octo Valley, while the Octarians take over Inkopolis.
Agent 3 or 4 Failed
What if during the fights at the end of Splatoon 1 and 2, Agent 3 or Agent 4 failed to defeat Octavio and gain the Great Zapfish back? It could be interesting, as Callie did team up with Octavio in Splatoon 2 and could lead to some bigger things and even another war between the Inklings and Octarians, as well as the struggles of Inkopolis with the Great Zapfish in the Octarians' hands.
(More storylines will be added as I think of more scenarios)
I do have a lot of headcanons for Splatoon, one of them being that Octarian culture is based on the traditional Japanese culture, while Inklings are more so with western culture, as well as the headcanon from Dissonant Melody that Octavio is the King of the Octarians. I have a lot more and I'll share them if you ask!
