A smidge of background: Peter and Tori's parents died when Peter was four and Tori was two.The two ended up being separated after a nasty custody battle between The parkers and William Fitzpatrick, the children's mother's father.The court reached am agreement that the children be split up ,but be able to see each other on holidays and vacation. Tori was the one who mostly visited Peter since he harbored anger towards his grandfather thinking that he was the sole reason they were split up."She looks so much like mom....that's why.He should've just left us alone like he always did!"He said once when he was nine when disappointed that his little sister would not be able to show up to his birthday party.William grew to love Tori like he did her mother and in return so did Tori.He doted on the child from the age of two dearly.However,he passed peacefully in his sleep when she was fourteen and Tori's aunt,Blainely( her mother's sister) took over the household moving in her own family which consisted of her two daughters. Tori got along with them fairly well ,but the house felt empty without her grandfather.She soon tried to spend as much time out of the house as possible.She landed an internship for fashion and design in New Zealand for one year.Tori briefly returned and her family members were astonished to see she had grown out of her awkward stage into the beautiful, yet still painfully shy young woman that her mother been at her age. Tori soon decided to respectfully inform her aunt that she would be moving to New York with Aunt May,Uncle Ben,and Peter for her sophomore year of high school.Her aunt obliged and let her return with her other family members.She felt it would be wrong to keep the siblings apart anymore especially since they were growing up.When she returns to New York,Tori realized that she is not the only one who grew out of their awkward stage.Her childhood friend and crush from the holidays she visited is as handsome as ever.Unfortunately for Tori,he would probably see her as like a kid sister as he and her brother fawn over Mary-Jane Watson,Tori's friend but in her opinion, conceited at times.
Starter//:"And this is a tarantula,"The guide droned on.Victoria Rachel Parker as known as Tori averted her eyes from the spider.Her flesh crawled as if it were doing some sort of ritual dance inwardly to rid her of these insects in this place.
"Why here,"Tori asked herself for the millionth time.She looked around to see if any of her classmates were experiencing some of the same extreme discomfort as she was. They were not.
The assortment of freshmen-seniors either stared on bored,fascinated or weren't paying attention at all which was what Tori was trying to do.She hated insects with a heated passion.They were sneaky things.They could crawl into an ear and lay eggs.(A fact she wouldn't have known if her "loving" brother hadn't told her that when she was six.Ever since then,she had been terrified.)
