Empress of whispering forests
Elaina Slaide sat on the couch eating potato chips after finishing her homework and watching youtube for a while after school. She turned on the tv and flipped it over to the news, and what she saw she almost couldn't comprehend. She saw a man had murdered his family. His wife daughters, son. It was sick.. But she didn't care. She flipped over to the food channel and watched a woman making something Chinese when her dad walked in. "Hey dad." She called. She had been living with her dad alone for 13 years. They were petty close-knit. Ever since her mom died, her dad stepped up and made up for the lost love.

Elaina swallowed a mouthful of chip "Some chick is making something with chicken. Surprise, surprise." Eli sighed and shoved more potato chips into her mouth. "I made a friend at school today."

"Yeah I guess so. Good night." Eli waves and heads upstairs to brush her teeth and wash her face. She puts on my pajamas and pull her black, curly hair back into a pony. She climbs into bed and switches on her playlist of heavy metal, and emo pop.
