Realistic or Modern Speaking of Feminism, GLOW rp anyone?

Eh, loved this show was thinking of making a sort of rendition of it. Thoughts? I will be fairly picky with who I bring on board. I had a nasty experience with a few bullies when I started on here so forgive me if I do prying. I'm pretty easy going. I do have a structure to how my role plays are. I enjoy a slow steady burn. So, a post a week? I'm looking for a small to medium size group as well. Not sure the time period I'd want it to be in although eighties seem interesting. We could even have fun and put it somewhere in the Victorian era to make it scandalous.

I mean, GLOW was set in the 80's because GLOW existed in the 80's. Plus you don't really have gimmicks or anything if you go back too far.
You don't really have GLOW without the campy gimmicks, y'know? At least in terms of the show-within-a-show.

True, I suppose I was imagining a Sherlock Holmes , certainly nothing reminiscent of the historical times. Was looking for ways to make it more original. Sometimes people have a hard time roplaying old scripted stories of tv shows. Yeah I know it was set in the eighties. I'm a huge original GLOW fan and the new remake of the show GLOW. The third season was pretty weak though. But I do agree =)
