Tsuna

Wanderer
Year 3310

In a galaxy where space travel is normal, alien races form communities and battle each other, and space pirates and mercenaries sail the intergalactic seas, a new adventure is about to unfold

The tale of a group of adventurers who want to save the galaxy from destruction

On the space colony Roxas, there were hundreds of people of various races. The colony was a commercial district, with restaurants and shops, with a maintenance bay for ships.

People traveling through this part of the galaxy, known as the Sea, would visit Roxas to stock up on supplies and refuel, others would enjoy the dining facilities and the nightlife.

For a certain man, he was there because his crew was going to meet him there.

The young man with blue hair and tan skin was sitting on a bench in the middle of the shopping district. It looked like an indoor mall.

The male opened his phone, an old model of a communication device, and looked through his messages.

Pulling up a message from a familiar name, he clicked on it (though it had already been opened before)

The phone asked if he wanted to show the message via the hologram projector on his personal tablet. He declined.

A video showed on the phone's screen.

It was a female around the same age as him, perhaps a little younger.

"Tsunoko!" The girl said. "We're coming back now from the Waterfall resort. Dont worry, theres still some money from our last mission. We should be there in a few days to pick you up."

A male voice said "Try to find some good leads for a mission. Make yourself useful, you idiot."

"Haha," the girl said. "What he was trying to say was have fun! We will be there on Monday. Bye Tsunoko!"

The video ended.

Tsunoko sighed and looked at his phone. It showed the current date

"Where are you guys..." Tsunoko said to himself aloud.

He put away his phone and looked at a big screen that was showing some news about a new mineral that was found on planet Articuno.

Eddie liked bars. Actually that was an understatement. Not only did he obviously enjoy the past time of drinking in between jobs, but he also enjoyed picking up women. Yes. He liked that a lot. Sadly today, things weren’t going his way.

“C’mon! Just one drink!” Eddie, a large muscular man with dark hair in a mohawk, grinned lazily to a rather pretty looking female with bright blue skin, “What do you got to lose?”

The woman offered him a stern look. Her frown was deep, and her mouth a firm, still line. “My self respect.” She said hotly, slamming her small glass onto the bar angrily. Her pointy ears twitched out of irritation, and strode away, leaving Eddie alone.

His smile soon vanished and huffed miserably. Eddie scratched his stubbly black beard, while trying to console himself, and downed the rest of his beer. It was a little on the warm side now, but that didn’t deter him in the slightest.

He’d been intending to order another drink. After being rejected like that, he felt he deserved one. However, out of the corner of his eye, he could see a large, reptilian bouncer, with arms as thick as his as the hull on a military grade space cruiser now watching him. That woman storming off had probably aroused a degree of suspicion.

He didn’t know what, but he always seemed to get attention wherever he went, and it was never usually the pleasant sort. It was indeed time to go.

Eddie, who was well over six feet tall, stood up from the bar and stretched before making his way out into the packed space outside.

Without much effort due to his size and lack of concern for those around him, he cut through the crowds with considerable ease. He was headed back to his rust bucket of a ship. At least he could relax and bide his time on his own whilst in there.

He fumbled around in his worn, black, rather biker-like vest for his identification pass which would gain him entry back to the docking bay. The fact it was a fake pass was beside the point of course. It seemed security around here were too busy and overworked to give such things a closer inspection. Which he was very pleased about. Some parts of this colony he didn’t dare tread. Let’s say he wasn’t a popular figure with certain people.

Coming to a halt in front of a big screen, he grunted and cursed rather foully at himself as he dropped a pack of incredibly high quality cigarettes on the floor. Aside from the gun that was strapped to his leg in a holster, the cigarettes were probably one of the most pricey items he currently had on him.

It was safe to say he wasn’t paying much attention to the report on minerals on the screen behind him. His pack of cigarettes were currently the most important thing he could think about.

Eddie bent down rather un-gracefully; his actually well formed, not displeasingly shaped behind slightly poking out over the top of his black belt, and dust dashed black pants.

“Hey!” He suddenly let out loudly, having been nudged by a well dressed man, in a long, expensive looking robe. Unlike himself, the man looked remarkably clean and respectable. “Watch where you’re goin’ crap head!”

Needless to say, the man he shouted at didn’t look thrilled at his protest. Nor did he apologize. Eddie’s tone had probably seen to that.

He cursed and irritably muttered about how rude some people were, as he bent down once more to retrieve his cigarettes. Yes, his rear end was again visible to anyone who had the misfortune (or fortune, depending on your opinions on such a sight) to be looking his way.

Now a little flustered, he at last straightened up, cigarettes firmly in hand. At least his smokes hadn’t been kicked across the floor he supposed as he lit one up. Yes. Much better. He certainly felt a little more at ease now he’d polluted his lungs as well as others around him.

"The mineral was first found by the field team of SAL Labs," a blonde reporter on the screen said. "It was showing powerful properties that initially got the field team's attention. For more on this subject, we have the leader of SAL Lab's field team, "

The channel on the screen changed.

Tsunoko, the blue haired male who was sitting on a bench, realized he had been watching the news when a man standing next to him held a remote controler.

"This is boring" the man said.

"Now here's the next bounty we have for ya folks!" A host of another show said. "The man who stole a ship from the galaxy federation itself, and used its computers to get class ified information on many Federation armament bases. Then selling the high class informatin to space pirates and criminals. Yes, Max the Tyrant is still #3 on most wanted criminals! His bounty is - "

The screen changed to the news station again.

A woman in a business uniform skirt was standing next to the man that changed the channel, taking the remote controller away. "Please dont change the channel without asking." The woman said with a frown, then walked off with the remote controller.

The man looked surprised.

"In other news..." The blonde reporter continued.

Tsunoko stood up, getting off the bench, and stretched. "May as well try to find a ride. My friends may need my help."

Tsunoko saw a muscular man in a black vest.

"Hey, excuse me. Do you know where I can get a public transport? I need a ride getting to a planet," Tsunoko said, walking towards the dark haired man.

Now satisfied he had a cigarette to puff on, Eddie span around quickly in a flurry of leather and faded tattoos, to look up towards the screen. The word ‘bounty’ had certainly caught his attention, always being on the look out for work.

Weirdly, as a man in his profession of catching criminals and all sorts of low lives, he didn’t feel repulsed by this Max the Tyrant. He thought it was actually quite a good money making scheme the man had come up from the sound of it. Well, good to a point. He had after all been caught doing these things by someone to have a bounty placed on him.

As the news report was getting to the interesting bit (the pay), Eddie met out a loud curse as the channel was changed. Seriously, why were people so annoying?!

Cigarette smoke billowing out his nose, he looked around with the ferocity of a fire breathing dragon to find the absolute idiot who’d changed channel.

He’d heard a woman speak to someone irritably, so he turned to look at her. Yes. The guy had a remote.

“Turn it back asshole!” He called across, but it seemed the woman had been what had thankfully changed the annoying man’s mind as it switched back.

“Oh c’mon!” He exclaimed irritably. The news was back yes, but he’d missed the important part about how many credits he’d be entitled to if Max the Tyrant had been caught.

Grumpily, he kept his eyes fixed on the blond woman up on the screen as though it were all her fault he’d missed what he wanted to hear. In fact, his glaring up at the screen was so intense, it took him a while to comprehend he was actually being spoken to by someone.

He blinked at the blue haired young man beside him, and puffed some smoke out the corner of his mouth.

“Depends,” He shrugged his large shoulders at him, “Where you headed?”
