Hey, I'm looking to do a fantasy soulmate roleplay!
Plot
In a world with magic and soulmarks, it is easy to find one's soulmate. They need only go to a church or diviner to begin the quest of tracking their other half down. Every time, without exception, one is able to glance a peek into the lives of their soulmate, sometimes even communing telepathically if the diviner is strong enough. This has always been the case, well, until your character. Your character is (blank), and upon his coming of age, heads to seek a diviner to begin his own search for his soulmate, the name written on his wrist. It all went fine, until it didn't.
No peek, no connection, not even a hint of another being. This had never happened in recorded history.
Your character is almost immediately approached by the Head Priestess of the nearby church, the most powerful diviner that side of the country. She is certain she is hearing lies about your character's lack of a soulmate and deigns to check herself, a woman with a 100% record of locating and connecting soulmates within travel time.
Even her power is unable to locate his soulmate.
Years go by, many diviners try and all fail. (You decide how people react, do they scorn him, do they believe it's the beginning of the end, do they believe him some kind of divine incarnation unable to match with a mere mortal?) The final diviner in the country approached your character, a year and a day ago. She tells him that she needn't look, the stars will find their way.
A year and a day later, the stars fall upon the home of the strongest Dragon God.
I already have a character made for this so if you're interested, hmu.
Additionally, some fluffy omegaverse can be slapped in here if you're interested in that.
