The awakening ceremony/first spirit ring/entrance to shrek should be in your opening post but It won't be till sunday later when I have everything ready.

I just remembered something...When Tang San and the gang entered Shrek Academy they already had their second spirit ring... ages ranging from 12 to 14 (or 15), all of them over lvl 20 (' :) )

 1. characters appearance description needs be longer, much longer
 2. Hair Color and Eye color needs capital letters
 3. gender needs to be one space out and a capital letter
 4. the last two paragraphs of your history has to go. Expand on the first two paragraphs
 5. Root of Ages? What is the earth energy?
 6. Counter Quake is really op
 7. your effects needs to be limited to a word count of one to seven words
 8. your spoilers need to be link to the text

These two are silly as hell.
earth energy?
As I mentioned before, Doulou Dalu is a xianxia work. You have seen how Tang San controls, conducts, absorbs or anyhilates the poisonous power of certain plants, to give himself extra effects, yes? You think that is limited only to poison?
• Counter Quake is really op
It is not...It has a great number of weaknesses... It is only for close quarter attacks and he needs to touch you with the palm strike in order for it to work (which can, or cannot be dodged). If the opponent is too strong, it doesn't mean anything if he uses it though, he'll be knocked back/out from the attack (forgot to mention he has to have his feet 'planted' on the ground for this to work). Finally this skill can't do anything against ranged attacks.
• your effects needs to be limited to a word count of one to seven words
Ok.
your effects needs to be limited to a word count of one to seven words
Ok.

-----------------------------------------------------------

On a side note: If you did read my message above...did you realise that when Tang San and the gang entered Shrek they all had two spirit rings already? Our characters have only one.

To expand on earth energy...it exists in every xianxia work. Sitting still and having their feet on the ground the users use their qi as roots and absorb the spiritual energy (qi energy) which is found within the earth (in each xianxia work the effects vary slightly, it generally increases vitality and strength, but I opted for stamina and vitality replentishment, NOT increasing, to decrease the power of the skill).

And while we're at it I'll also tell you why I think these two...wait actually three points are silly:
Hair Color and Eye color needs capital letters
gender needs to be one space out and a capital letter
As a college student who studies languages, I find it very hard to accept this. There is no logical, or grammatical reason for hair color/eye color/gender to be written in capital letters in this situation. Since they are introduced using a colon (this sign '':''), as long as they are not language/race/ethnicity names, the name of a book (or other piece of work), the name of a company, product, or person, there is no real reason for anyone to write words in capital letters. It is a grammatical error.

I honestly don't understand why you're strict about this of all things. I chose spoilers because it's more practical... Why click a link to see an image which will open in a different tab when you can click it and see it right under the text? I find this particular point of yours really silly.

Here's how I see things (disclaimer being that I could be seeing things differently from others): no one is truly GM. We are three people attempting to create a single story that should have subplots relating to our individual characters. With that said, style things like capitalized hair color aren't must fixes (though on a personal level, I agree with Ed) in my opinion. Important things like understanding how unique abilities function, limitations, and weaknesses are relevant though may not require altering, so much as more explanation.

Long story short, we're a team here and sometimes compromises will need to be made on all of our parts to ensure that we get what we want out of this. If compromising won't work, we could go with a simple vote where when 2 people disagree the third person's opinion is the deciding vote. We agree that this is how it should work now and function within those rules from here on it. The decision is up to you guys. I'd prefer compromising as I believe that will be more fun.
though on a personal level, I agree with Ed

Unfortunately, I cannot agree with anything which is incorrect from a grammatical standpoint. I agree with the rest of what you said, though.

Generally speaking, grammar usually relates to sentences. In a sentence, I completely agree with what you're saying, but, in this case, we're not dealing with sentences. I'm not saying that makes you wrong, I'm just saying I don't know how the grammar of a form works (if that's even a thing), but as I don't know that its grammatically wrong or right, I'm going with my personal preference.

In forms it's usually either lower case (with a few exceptions which I listed above) or all capital letters. In Romania (my country of origin) it is mandatory to write every world in capital letters while filling a form, whereas in Italy it is not mandatory, although they prefer lower case. Don't know how it works in the States or other countries though. If you do a search on the internet, it is mentioned that if you use lower case, then you have to make sure to use caps only where they are necessary.

This is something that we were thought during one of our English lessons, about forms.
grammar of a form
There is only one grammar rule to forms. If you write in lower case, use caps only where it is necessary.

Well like I said, for me, that's not a deal breaker. You use a lower case and I use an upper case, I don't think that's going to ruin this rp for me. My opinion at least.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to work on my character until tomorrow around this time. Sorry to hold you guys up.

With that said, @Edward Valentine is there anything else you feel absolutely needs to be changed with Azure's character? Or maybe just more information or clarification? I guess the same could be said in reverse: do you have any questions regarding Ed's character, @Azure Sky?

I didn't edit my character either, but that's just because I'm waiting for a reply from Ed. I do have the info in my head, and once he replies , I will work fast. As for his character...wait.

@Phineas Forge Did the Character Sign-up tab disappear, or is it just me?
