Rules
The Role-play has expanded, yay! I know, sounds like too much pressure, but I promise you if you follow accordingly it will be much more fun for everyone. So here are some basic rules and scheduling!
  1. Follow RPN rules​
  2. No god modding, Mary Sues or Gary sues​
  3. Keep OOC classy, be patient and kind. We want good vibes B)​
  4. Now that you're part of the RP, you can post as much as you want as long as it is within a reasonable time frame to let others catch up​
  5. If you're absent for longer than a week (two weeks max) you will be kicked off. If you need more time, let me know or the Co-Gm ( Lady Warlock Lady Warlock ) I know life can get in the way, but some people are anxious to post​
  6. You get 3 warnings and you're banned from the RP so play nice​
  7. If too busy, make sure to post at least once a day or so​
  8. If you update your Character sheet, let me know​

Important Announcement # 3
It has come to my attention that a lot of you have been updating your Character-sheets without updating me and some of you have asked my permission to edit. To those who who asked me, thank you notifying me. If you filled in the partner section of the application, that is fine. This is a warning for those who did. Next time is a boot out of here with no negotiation. We want to play at a level plain. No one is stronger than anyone. Now with that being said, you guys are ahead of the game, getting prepared for a battle. Before even starting the next scene, here are the requirements I need to see before @ me.​
  1. Everyone needs to update their application and include the latest character sheet with partner & height, and weight, etc. If you plan on putting a strong soul

  2. Weapons must remove meister abilities and stick exclusively to weapon abilities & Wavelength (Ex: Gun= energy bullets of the soul or changing limbs as their weapon character etc.)
  3. Meisters can only hold a max of 3 abilities with the exception of soul Perception does not count as an ability. (If you have four abilities including Soul perception, that counts as three since soul perception is not manditory, but a general thing to have/ learn if you so choose. Wavelength is also not an ability) at a time, so choose wisely. We're fledglings, I'd imagine us teens aren't all that powerful yet, right 😂

Once you have met the requirements, notify me in the OOC and I will look over it. There are some of you that I would like for you to fix/ discuss. Your names will be listed in spoilers to make it easier on the eyes.

RedLeftHand36 RedLeftHand36 You're fine with your abilities, but I would like you to just change the ability names such as: Steel Skin to Soul Armor & Gotta Go Fast to Soul Speed. That way people don't get confused and ask what it is and if they don't know they just check the lore.

Prizzy Kriyze Prizzy Kriyze muh boi, Sadomasochist equalizer, I've read it but I want some clarity if this ability is kinda saying Quinn doubles his attacks when blasted by his opponents? As for MIlo with Spiritual Blackout, I imagined someone getting stabbed by Milo and choking the fellow, I was curious if he has a limit?

Britt-21 Britt-21 List your abilities instead of a full paragraph, please so it's easier to inspect while in battle. I know much is not known about madness, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't give you markings unless she has black blood in which I would believe it. In other words the markings gotta go, I'm sorry.

Kyuubey Kyuubey The only thing needed is add and estimate range on the ribbion and Resonance ice power

The Elder The Elder your abilities were not a porblem, but matched with a multi weapon is kind of an unfair advantage with mixed with your character. You have 2 options that will balance your character, 1.) Don't be a strong soul and lose an ability or 2.) Lose anti-magic wavelength, and ability. Either way, I don't reccommend you keeping Soul armor or or soul speed. One of those should go.
 
Alright yall, time for a frickin update.

First thing's first!

Pumpkid Pumpkid and Lady Warlock Lady Warlock have came to the descision to add Prizzy Kriyze Prizzy Kriyze and myself as Co-GMs, as this has gotten larger than expected, and more rp mods should help to keep the workload manageable. As before, Comet will be our authority on lore, but she shall be assisted by Prizzy (who will also be accepting alterations to character sheets). Wolfy will be storyboarding and doing general rp things, and I will be handling announcements, as well as helping convey information to players OOC.

We are currently discussing necessary alterations to character sheets stated in the previous update. We would ask you to hold off on making changes, except for noting your partners, for the time being. All character changes should be announced in the OOC with a ping to one of the RP mods. This may take a little while, as we all have other obligations, and would like to meet 'in council'. The change list may be altered following this meeting. We thank you for your patience!

As a final note, y'all have been doing great at communicating IC, and I hope it will continue. The first scene recap will be out shortly after everyone has been paired IC. Bless up!

 
The new character sheet is up!

We've introduced a stat system (SASS) where the four attributes are labelled 1 through 4, with 4 being the best, and 1 being the worst. Feel free to edit your sheets, just let us know! Thank you.
 
Announcement Time!
The wait is over, I'm finally getting to work. In the hopes of making the playing field a bit more even we wanted to make a few changes. As previously mentioned, people have changed their sheets without notifying anyone and the differences in power have, uh, grown drastically; so it's imperative that we change some things around. This won't change much for the majority of you, but to keep it simple I have gone through every sheet and have written down every change that needs to be made. So, I mean, you don't actually have to read the change log, just your own tag.

CHANGE NUMBER 1
Soul Type is to be removed from the sheets. This doesn't mean that you can't have special souls, but rather that it's now just an rp thing (i.e it doesn't make your character mechanically stronger, it's just flair). In the anime and manga, having a "strong soul" or a "grigori" doesn't make nearly as much of a difference as skill, and this is our way of highlighting that.

CHANGE NUMBER 2
Abilities. Considering you're all playing characters of 15+ years of age that just entered into the E.A.T curriculum at DWMA, a little change has been made. All meisters are now considered to be able to utilize Soul Perception, Wavelength Control and Resonance (maybe not very well with your new partner immediately), so these don't need to be entered into your abilities unless there's something particularly outstanding about how your character uses it. All weapons are now considered to be able to utilize Wavelength Control, Resonance (maybe not very well with your new partner immediately) and obviously be able to absorb, so these don't need to be written down on your sheet. We've come to conclusions about how difficult certain techniques are as well, and therefore Suture, Soul Armor and Soul Projection are abilities you'll have to learn down the line and can't start with.

CHANGE NUMBER 3
Abilities, once again. Focal Soul Force now only hardens skin of the user, allowing them to punch harder without harming their own body, kind of like wearing brass knuckles you hit harder. Focal Soul Force and Soul Armor are considered the physical counterparts of Soul Menace and Adjust now, as you use them to harden your skin with which you then bludgeon someone. This means Soul Armor doesn't protect against Soul Menace, but Adjust also does not protect against Focal Soul Force. Someone who is proficient with Focal Soul Force and Soul armor find it extremely difficult to also learn Soul Menace and Adjust, and vice versa. (Soul Projection does, on the other hand, work against everything)

CHANGE NUMBER 4
Character physiques in the Soul Eater universe is superhuman. Therefore Soul Speed has been removed, and how fast your character is should be determined by their SASS Agility score. This has been done so that people won't dump their SASS agility score, and then substituting their lack of speed with their SASS Soul stat, bypassing our intended mechanics. Similarly, the power from Focal Soul Force comes entirely from it's user now, it doesn't magically make it's wielder stronger. Your character just IS that strong!

CHANGE NUMBER 5
Welcome to the SASS stat system. It's already been explained, and is very simple. It is not intended to be a "gotcha!" way of saying your character is better than another, it's here to help everyone envision what your character might fight like and ensure that everyone has a weakness. Remember, a 1 in a stat, for example strength, doesn't mean that your character is a hopeless weakling who'd blow over in a stiff breeze, it only means that it's the weakest area for that character. It won't ever be used to determine outcomes in combat, but we might point it out as a bit odd if your character with a 1 in agility suddenly does a perfect triple back flip. At least at the beginning of the RP.

CHANGE NUMBER 6
Certain abilities will be prohibited from weapon use at the beginning of the RP. Not that the weapons CAN'T learn these abilities, but to make a more obvious difference between weapons and meisters. This involves almost any soul abilities, save for perception and abilities regarding your wavelength. I shall go first, and remove soul maverick from my sheet. Not that weapons need offensive spiritual abilities, they can just stab people with them partial transformations.

CLARIFICATIONS
Soul Force and Soul Menace are canonically the same ability with different translations. It's probably still in the lore, but a stronger Force/Menace doesn't really need another name.
Soul Force/Menace doesn't attack the soul, it bypasses your skin and attacks your insides directly.
When a weapon is being held by a meister and they match wavelengths, they can communicate telepathically.

INDIVIDUAL CHANGES!
Spiderverse Spiderverse - Remove Soul Speed, add SASS stats, and you're good to go!

RedLeftHand36 RedLeftHand36 - Remove Soul Type, Soul Armor and Soul Speed, then add SASS stats. You can of course keep the description of your soul anyway, but soul type shouldn't be in your sheet other than backstory.

Phayne Phayne - Remove tempestuous soul or move it to your backstory or something. Good job already doing the SASS, but considering your weapon's typical ability is to attack with his wavelength I'd expect his Soul stat to higher. You may put it however you want, but currently it is implied he's much better at dodging and punching fast rather than actually being fired. As for Bill, remove soul type. His lock on ability is weird in the way that somehow you've changed soul energy into an auto aim, which I can't see how it works. You'll have to change it, but if you just make it so that he can momentarily fly and direct himself then it'd pretty much be the same thing and you can keep it.

Astralworks Astralworks - Remove soul type, add SASS. You might want to reword Unfair Determination and Merciless Wavelength because it took me four or five attempts at reading them to understand what they meant. Bloody Victory is just your bear trap working like a bear trap, right? That doesn't need to be on your sheet. Specify what weapon Vampire Stake turns the ring into. Vorpal Blade doesn't make any sense, please remove it or explain it better. Dead Zone just removes any need for creative uses of your weapon form and puts other characters at a boring risk, please remove it. Graveyard sounds pretty cool, but it also has to be a magical ability, so you might be able to do it if you become a Death Scythe but not before then. Phantom Lunge is the kind of anime ability that isn't really a part of Soul Eater, so remove it. If you want to be very fast, put Agility high on your SASS stats.

CelticHero37 CelticHero37 - Remove Soul Type, add SASS. Shield bash is too much like soul menace, so unfortunately it will have to go. If you want Niamh to absorb energy from a fight she'll have to have a parasitic wavelength, otherwise remove Sword of Justice.

Pumpkid Pumpkid - Lmao what's up. Nah but seriously it's good if Valentina adds her SASS types and gets rid of Soul Speed as well. Oh yeah get rid of soul type too. I keep forgetting. SASS for Viola as well.

Britt-21 Britt-21 - Remove soul type, I see you already got on the SASS train ;) you're good to go after that

Deadeyelee Deadeyelee - Remove Soul Type, add SASS. Remove soul projection, but you may learn it later. Your soul dissonance would only work if you had a parasitic wavelength, otherwise there's no way for you to steal energy, but you could have the same effect happen by hitting them with your own wavelength, but that's also going to have to be learned or maybe a resonance ability? Soul slick is fucking cool so I'm going to let it pass, but don't go using it for anything other than being an awesome skateboard without proper character growth in the RP.

Jackaboi Jackaboi Remove soul armor, remove soul type, add SASS and you're good to go!

Exanis Exanis Remove Soul Projection and Soul Speed. Remove soul type from your sheet, but as I mentioned you may still be a grigori. However, the grigori ability isn't going to come up for a long time in-character, because it takes a long time to actually unlock.

Kyuubey Kyuubey - As soon as you got that SASS down you'll be good to go!

shadowdude505 shadowdude505 - Remove soul type and Soul Speed, add SASS. There's nothing wrong with your soul type so you can keep it as long as you remove the section out of your sheet and add it to your backstory instead. It's got cool flair, after all.

The Elder The Elder - Remove soul type, soul armor and add SASS. Remove soul tracking as well, since it's only an applied use of soul perception. You can write it down under soul perception and keep the ability.

Katoua777 Katoua777 - Remove soul type, add SASS, and you're good to go!

Prizzy Kriyze Prizzy Kriyze - Fuck u I'm uncultured you're kicked out of the RP
