Bisexual Panic
So, I don't normally do steam punk things because I usually just don't have much muse for them? But I've been smacked with it hella. Basically, it'll have modern lingo and stuff (I honestly just want to write a character with a modge-podge gun spear shouting 'suck my dick motherfucker!' to like an ogre or something honestly. Guns and communication devises will be a thing (Think radios and walkie-talkies) but things like tablets and smartphones and stuff like that aren't a thing. I'm debating on having like cool holo screens be a thing honestly? But there will also be fantasy creatures! Though none of them can wield magic.
Basically the explination is there's two types of magic. Ambient and Blood. Blood magic is magic in your blood that gives you the ability to use it in spells and enchantments. Ambient magic is what effects you but can't be wielded, so a werewolf would have Ambient magic but they can't like... use it. And Blood magic was a very sensative gene that required super specific conditions to work so it died out.
I think a cool adventure could be, some tyrant took over so our characters meet up to try and find some legendary enchanted item that was created by the last mage that could stop them and end up getting in little side adventures along the way and then afterwards they have to help repair and figure out how to lead because everyone just lowkey listens to them because they killed the other dude.
I'm only looking for one partner for this one :,0 it won't be first come? So please comment with a rough thing about the characters you would use so I can gague who would work best with my characters!

(Yes, a little red riding hood reference and a steven universe reference.)
A young woman who had been branded for a breeding program by the self proclaimed God King. He wants to take magic races with promising blood in an attempt to bring Blood magic back into the world to abuse it to keep power. Her back is covered by a half-scarred, half-tattooed brand of the God King labeling her as property. However, her mother was a tinkerer who worked in the Clock towers and had a pair of mechanical wings she recreated and gave to her daughter in secret. Allowing her to escape from the Walking City and land on the ground bellow. Ruby is aggressive and scared and has a really bad outlook on life. She had very few positive interactions with anyone but her mother and is quick to jump to conclusions which are usually worst case scenarios. She knows that once it was discovered she had left her mother would be killed or imprisoned and she is determined to kill the God King in order to avenge, or find her mother again. Ruby also has a lot of trouble falling in love or accepting affection due to her past and it's very hard to get anything out of her. She's very secretive and paranoid.
Her specialty is tinkering. If you give her the proper tools and parts she can build nearly anything. She's of average height with toned muscles and large teeth indicating her werewolf blood. She's used to travelling on her own, and is terrified of others being around her while she's asleep. When travelling in a group she can become easily sleep deprived. - Vince, just Vince

A human boy from the Blue District of the Walking City. He was put to kitchen work as soon as he could hold a knife and is quiet skilled at making anything taste good. He has a small tattoo on the inside of his wrist, the symbol of the servant class of the Walking City and, to him, a shameful reminder of his past in the city. Vince can be loud, but it's a defense for being scared. He's terrified of the world around him, having spent most of his formative years inside cooking for lavish parties he could never attend. After spending years sneaking food from discarded tables to keep his stomach quiet he's gotten adept at stealing as well as cooking. He often uses his cooking to distract victims of his next robbery. While they chow down on a stew he slipped a paralysis agent into, he waits then takes all their worth to survive. Vince never knew his parents and doesn't want to know them. His heterochromic mark him as someone born of a high family, the Ambient magic enough to alter his eye color, meaning whoever his parents were they gave him up to the Servant class rather than keeping him. He feels bitter but when he decides he's not going to rob someone and sees they won't hurt him he can be quiet friendly and bubbly.
Vince is desperate to find a meaningful connection with anyone. He has a hard time expressing himself since he never had anyone his age to talk to growing up, and is likely subject to quietly pining over someone from a distance. He is a shorter boy, even shorter than Ruby, with no muscle to speak of. What he lacks in straight strength he makes up for in agility and stealth. Vince would be useless in a hand to hand fight, but in a recon mission he's almost the best around. - The Lion

A brute of a woman born and bred for the gladiator battles. A genetically spliced baby with over a hundred of the best warriors as parents she is, theoretically, the perfect fighter. Only, she doesn't fight. Whenever she's in the arena she will disable and avoid but won't land any hits if she can avoid it while not risking death. She harbors hatred for those who made her, they tore her apart and pieced her back together time and time again just to add more enhancements. More genetic weapons. But she does it out of spite. If she were to fight those they pit her against, she would be giving them what they want. She'd be giving them a show. So she makes it as entertaining as she possibly can. She is not a pacifist by any stretch of the imagination, but if fighting would give them what they wanted in creating her, she wouldn't hurt anything. The Lion is a ticking time bomb of pent up aggression and spite bottled up in the perfect fighting vessel just waiting to burst. She has a myriad of gnarled scars on every part of her body. Her skin looks like it had been torn off and put back on several times years apart. The age difference in the scars is obvious but they all seem to never heal.
The Lion is loud, shouting, and angry. She swears at everything. Her bite is worse than her bark and her concoction blood of hundreds of fighters means she has a volatile mixture of Ambient magics that make any 'shifts' or 'powers' unpredictable and often times explosive. She is terrible at emotions and often only feels anger. There was only one person in the past who could get her to smile and it was her wife. The Gladiator Spectators didn't like a smiling fighter, however. So they took and killed her wife in front of her. Several Spectators died in the resulting explosion of Ambient magic.
Currently, The Lion is the closest anyone has gotten at Blood magic. While she can't control it, her Ambient magic has outward effects that can present as if she's controlling them even if she isn't. - Lynn

This young man has never set foot in the Moving City, or one of the God King's cities ever. He lived in a hidden city of people who had managed to fly below the God King's radar for a while after he took power. When he was 10 a scout discovered him by a lake, washing his cloak that had gotten dirty when he was working on a hover bike, and reported it back. Resulting in the burning of his city. Lynn feels responsible for the attack on his city and only narrowly escaped when his father screamed at him to leave as he was overrun by soldiers. Lynn got on his hover bike and took off, though since it wasn't finished, the bike broke down not far away and he had to hide and watched the soldiers unceremoniously dump the corpses of his friends and family into a ravine. Since then he vowed he would take down the God King and ensure he wouldn't get a burial. He would desecrate everything he stood for just like he did to Lynn.
Lynn is a speed demon with a thrill seeking rush. He'll do anything for the rush. Mainly because he no longer fears dying and seems to actively seek it out though he never seems to actually die. Either he's one lucky motherfucker or a god is on his side. Depending on who you ask they could attribute his still living status to either of them.
