Remember to PM @Nano and I before you start on your CS to send us your writing sample. And we recommend that you reserve a slot so there's no overlapping of ideas. And ofc, before you ask any questions... *points to all the tabs filled with information* Lookie there and then ask questions. :)

Added a new thing that I might not have made 100% clear:


I have provided the regions, but you must make up the town/city and state yourself. After all, I can't make up 592058 towns and states for each god @×@

Let's say they broke their arm while training in the second realm. When they "wake up" in their own mortal/physical realm, they won't have a broken arm...but it'll still FEEL like they broke it for a few days AT LEAST.


Also, gods can send their emissaries gifts from their dreams. Take Shisui's rabbit, Tama for example. He was made and given minor blessings of "okay you can live longer than an average evil bunny" in the second realm and given to Shisui to take with him in the mortal realm. Only gifts and blessings given specifically from gods can pass over to the mortal realm.


You don't really have to change your bio too much. But mention that the place/cave that hypnos lives in is in the gods' realm. (I should probably post this explanation somewhere because Silas' bio says nothing about setting for Hades.)


PS: (I almost forgot to say this) But there are little to none fantastical creatures because...well...it's hard to support them in this setting. :') I wish we could but they're so space for them ;v; Maybe little fae messenger dragons that people can raise domestically but no large scary fire breathing dragons. Because...what's going to feed them. 8'D The emissaries are not going to have time to deal with giant lizards with wings. Too busy dealing with demons trying to cut their behinds. >v>


Any creatures of fantasy will be more for plot rather than world building. ...No dragons, pegasus or unicorns and such please. ewe And no pixies and such. =w=

Wait, that sounds weird. He's the kiddo of a Loa - a Hoodoo or Voodun spirit. Popular in places like Haiti and New Orleans, Papa Ghede is the psychopomp who guides the souls of the dead to the afterlife. He's a great guy, but he really likes his Habanero Rum, cigars, and generally inappropriate humor. He's a loud, fun loving kinda man who can hear your thoughts and knows all of the doings on the other side of the veil - as well as most on our side. Either way, he is the kinda guy who would end up with his own family tree even at his ripe old age. Oh, and let's not forget him being a stiff (you know, rigor mortis and all that jazz).

...I don't think you get the concept of this RP? You should read the information we've provided for everyone first...
 
Hold up, sorry. I talked a lot about the Loa, but Imma hoping to insert one of their "children" (it was well pointed out that the first children weren't necessarily born, per se), not the Loa themselves. I described Papa Ghede so you could get a good feel for how the character will end up being played out.


Does that address what you saw? I have this suspicion that the issue was my odd wording...

To save myself some time, I will quote directly from the Q&A section: "Since the underworld is different depending on the pantheon, I have decided to create a different system for this world. When a person dies, their soul is then sent to the core of the world in order to be reabsorbed into the core before being used to create a new soul. This is different from reincarnation as the soul is pretty much converted back into its state before it was a soul and then fashioned into a completely new one." Due to this, things like ghouls, zombies and other living dead are impossible. Additionally, Solorus' equivalent of ghosts are basically just remnants of strong memories and not the soul itself.

I do have a few thoughts on the issues you have (thanks for telling me what they were, by the way), but would you prefer to hear those thoughts or rather I move on? I love what you've been doing, and I'm still interested in joining in some way or another. Oh, I also didn't mean for any ideas I have to be concrete. It would be rather simple to alter any of my ideas to fit better with your plans.

That's cool, mate. Heaven knows I've denied a couple characters and/or ideas in my own games, so I'm fine respecting that.


Having gone through most of your info, I'm starting to browse the characters that are already up. However, in your own opinions (Nano and Birb both), are there any archetypes that need to be filled in for either personality or power type? I try to adapt as best I can to really help keep the gears greased wherever I go, so if there's a role that needs to be played I am more than happy to take it up. I'll be continuing to review current characters and planning what will fit best.

Then I have just the character! I've been saving him for a situation where the heavy hitter is needed. He'll use mostly axes, and I'll look into the right God for him. He'll be Nordic, so who's already been used...


Wait, wasn't Tyr already being used? Huh. I remembered that one because most don't even know about him...


Oh! But I'm rambling now. Either way, I'll be sure to bring back something that allows for some good power strokes.

Full? Well dang. Alright, I can craft a similar character with a different ethnic background. And you will most certainly get that writing sample. Do you want it based around a certain character or situation, or do you not care too much?
