Somethings Gotta Give Loke and Kira

Talio set beside Koda careful not to jostle Kantu. When the doctor came in and gave them the news he was relieved. He hadn't lost a son today. Soon after the doctor left his sister came in Senji by her side. "Did you get the bastard who did this?"


"One of them. We dont know if theres more."


"So stay nearby?"


"Yes."


"Alright." She nodded and left after giving Senji a quick pat on the head. She would remain nearby in case any more attacks happended.

"I told you that they were no good. I told you and you didn't listen to me... And now what. Our son in the hospital? Our family in danger? What are we gonna do Talio? Who can we trust besides your sister? " Koda waited for an answer but received none. "No one right?" Koda crossed his arms and turned his back towards Talio. "I can't even look at you right now." He said.

Talio winced he knew this was his fault but to hear it said so bluntly brought that fact to the limelight. It made him angry as well. Scowling he spoke. " If I remember correctly you are the one that wanted me to leave my debt unpaid. I did as you asked and that is what brought this on. Maybe I shouldn't respect your wishes if this is the result."

Koda turned around to look his husband in the eyes. "Your right..." Koda said, his eyes filled with tears. "Maybe I'm not a caused this. Maybe I'm not a good father, or husband. I'm just not cut out for this." Koda pushed past Talio running out of the room sobbing.

Talio growled and stood. Shooting Kantu a glance he headed out the door. He caught Koda around the waist not far from the room. "You are cut out for this. Your a great father and a wonderful husband. You just wanted us to be a safe and I love you for that. None of us could foresee this happening. I truly didn't think they would go after my family. "


Turning him around he looked him in the eyes. "I will take care of this. They were my friends my family so I will deal with them. You get the twins and stay with the Kids. My sister will be on the lookout. "

Talio remembered back during Ladies Barracuda times when Tamil would always grab him when he tried to walk away. Koda laid his head on his husbands chest. "No... We will deal with this, we will both handle them. They hurt our son. We're a team." Koda said. "And Talio... I'm sorry for what I said to you." He gave his husband a kiss.

Talio cupped the back of his neck and kissed him until they needed breath. Pulling back he rest his forehead against his. "Apology accepted and your right we are a team. Let's go get rid of this threat on our family then go get some ice cream. "

Koda smiled. "And maybe afterwards..." He realized his kids were in the room. "Well, I guess it'll be a surprise." He gave Talio a wink. "Now... Where off to?"

Talio smirked at Kado as he answered. "Their little hangout isn't to far from here though I doubt the Shelby's are there right now many of their men probably are. A few bombs will assure them we are serious and after that they should look for a meeting."

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

"No." Koda said. "No meetings." They messed with out family, now it's time to end theirs." Kids said. "Hey what about your storage locker, where you put all of your old equipment when we moved here?" Koda asked.

"I have the key and there should be enough stuff to make up for a small army. " Talio agreed feeling his bloodlust begin to stir. It's been awhile sense he felt such a way. "And I meant the Shelby family would turn up at the meeting. It would be the perfect time to attack. "

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

"Oh, well by all means set it up." Koda said. "Make it seem as if we want to surrender and then we strike." He said.


They made it out to the car and Koda got down on his hands and knees checking for a bomb underneath. He then pressed his ear against the car. "Its all clear. He lifted the trunk to find the spare tire. Next to it lie a tool kit. Koda dug in the kit and pulled out a knife. He cut the tire open pulling out a desert eagle. He checked the safety and ammunition then went up to Koda. "I guess this was going to be useful." He got into Tue passenger seat.

Talio smirked at his clever love and slipped into the drivers seat. Soon they were pulling up in front of the storage locker. Motioning for Koda to stay in the car and keep lookout he got out and walked to the locker. Five minutes later he slid back in the car and put the bag of weapons in the back as he started the car. Before long they were a block away from the hideout. Knowing it was best if they were inconspicuous he parked there. "We are here."

"Okay. Um, do you have any holsters in here?" Koda asked Talio as he rummaged through the bag.

"There should be some in the bottom. " Talio said checking to see how many bullets was in his main gun.

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

Kado dug through it and pulled one that went under his shirt, and a nice holster that went under his pants. Koda pulled off his pants and shirt leaving only his underwear on. He looked in the mirror and noticed a set of bruises on him. He ran his hand across one on his chest and hissed when he touched it.

Talio glanced over hearing Kado hiss and scrawled when he saw the bruises. Those baskets! Reaching into the bag he got the medi pack out and tossed some bruise salve over to him. "Rub this on them. "

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

"Could you help me, I need to load a couple magazines with some rounds." Koda held the bruise salve out to his husband waiting for him to take it, while he held the bullets in the other haand.

Talio nodded and grabbed the salve. Opening it he got some on his fingers and began running it gently over the bruises. The sharp contrast between Kados skin and the bruises sickened him.

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

Kado hissed with each touch, but the bruises were already beginning to feel better. He continued to fill the magizine. "I got a change of clothes from storage, so we'd be in more comfortable outfits. Their in the back." He said, his eyes still focused on the mag.

Talio nodded as he finished. Tucking the salve away he climbed into the back and began getting changed. His outfit consisted of loose fitting black pants, that tighten at the ankle, and a sleeveless tight dark blue turtleneck shirt that clung to and outlined his muscles. After that he had white gauze that wrapped around his hands and arms up to his elbows and resembled fingerless gloves, they would hide his smaller handerless knives, and black knee high combat boots with metal tips and hidden blades in the heels. Finished he strapped on his guns and blades making sure they were in reach but hidden then grabbed his messenger bag. After putting the bombs in it he nodded at Koda. "Ready?"

"Yea." He said getting out of the car. "You lead the way." Koda said.

Nodding Talio led the way to the back door of the hideout that led to the cooler and out into the bar. The building was large and made of red brick with a large yellow sign above the front door tilted Hidans bar in blue letters. Not exactly the place you would think was a gangs hideout but That's Why it was perfect. Taking out his old key he got while working there for a time as a teen he entered and began planting some bombs near the entryway. The bombs were powerful enough to blow the metal lined cooler apart and shooting fragments at any near it that wasn't killed by the initial explosion.

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

"Hello!?" Talio called out. "Hey scumbags come on out here, I know exactly what you did and my husband and I are willing to make a deal with you." Koda called out. No answer.

Talio finished setting up the bombs then getting his guns out walked into the room.
