Somethings Gotta Give Loke and Kira

[Loke Fullbuster]

This is a continuation of Kado and Talio's life. They''re married now, and Talio is an amazing doctor who makes quite a bit of money, they've adopted 4 boys, and Kado is a stay at home dad who cooks, cleans, and dos anything else a stay at home parent does.

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

Kado woke up to the sound of an alarm with his head in its usual spot, on Talio's right pectoral muscle. Talio's hand was wrapped around his shoulder which made him feel comfortable. It was September and it was chilly but, Talio was a warm enough blanket. "Guess I better go wake the kids." Kado thought. Kado got out of the bed slowly as to not wake Talio up, and put some underwear and sweatpants on, as well as a t-shirt, and went to Kantu's room. He opened the door slowly and shook his son softly. "Kantu... Wake up Son. It's time to get dressed for school." Koda received a smack in the face with a pillow. "Five more minutes!!!!!" Whined Kantu. "Kantu no. Get up now." Koda said. "Fine... I'm getting up." The boy said with an exasperated sigh. Kantu went into Senji's room and shook him as well. "Son wake up. It's time to get ready for school." Senji's head slowly rose and a yawn emmited from the boys mouth. "Okay dad." Koda smiled. He left the room but he realised he had forgotten something. "Oh boys I forgot to tell y-" he yelled down the hallway but was cut off. "Our clothes are in the usual spots at the foot of our bed." The said in unison. Koda smiled. "Those crazy kids." He went in his room and grabbed Hibiki and Kobi out of their cribs so that they wouldn't wake Talio up with crying on his only off day. Koda went over and gave him a peck on the lips then left the room, leaving the door slightly open behind him. He made pancakes, eggs and bacon for breakfast. "Kids foods ready!" He said into the bathroom Kantu and Senji shared. Each stood at their own respective sink brushing their teeth. "Kay dad." Said Senji. Koda received a thumbs up from Kantu and smiled. "Okay then... You guys hurry up though so I can sign your conduct folders, your father and I forgot to look at em last night.


Koda received the same response from Senji but a worried look from Kantu. "Oh Lord." He thought as he left the bathroom.


Koda was standing at the bar when the kids came in, both handing him their conduct folders. "Thanks guys, your plates are on the table. Now... I dint want you to rush, but eat a little quickly so that you aren't late for school. "Yes sir." Said Senji with a salute. "Whatever." Replied Kantu. Koda shook his head as they walked off and then returned to the folders. He pulled the first one open... Senji's. "Monday... Happy face, Tuesday... Happy, Wednesday... Plain face... Thursday... Happy!" Koda signed his folder and placed it at his side. Next was Kantu's. "Monday... Plain... Tuesday... Frowny... Wednesday... Frowny... Thursday... Frowny." Panty shook his head and then noticed there was something written at the bottom of the page. "Requested Parent Teacher Confrence, Friday." It read. "Friday... Aww man... That's today." He said with a sigh.


When the kids headed to the car Koda held Kantu back. "Yea dad?" He said rubbing the back of his head. "Mind explaining this?" Koda asked lifting the folder. "Umm... Yea... You see." Kantu began. "Save it... We'll discuss it at the conference today after school... Now I have to wake your father up to tell him." Said Koda. "But-" Koda put a finger to Kantu's lips. "Not another word." He said. "Now go get in the car." Kantu sulked off. "This should be interesting.."


After successfully having dropped the kids off, Koda went to his bedroom and sat on the bed next to Talio, slowly shaking him. "Talio..." He said. "Wake up."

Talio stirred as he was shook awake. Yawning he sleepily pulled open his eyes to look at Kado. Still fighting to get up he reached up and pulled Kado down before rolling them over so he was laying on Kado his face buried in his neck. "Sleep. To early."

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

"Babe... It's like 9:00 o'clock and as much as I want to go to sleep to, we have things that we need to talk about." Kado explained.

Groaning Talio gave up on going back to sleep. His mind was already to active to sleep. Raising himself up on his forearms he fell down to lay beside Kado. "I still say it's to early. Yet, somehow I feel this is about one of our kids so I will wake up."

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

"And about that you are completely right." Koda said. "First off Kantu got 3 frowny faces in his conduct folder. 2nd off, its gotten so bad that we've been requested for a parent teacher, student conference that we have to attend right after schools out." Koda explained.

Talio groaned in exhaustion finally pulling himself from bed. Heading toward the bathroom he spoke. "That boy always in trouble. "

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

"I know. Its like he doesn't care." Koda said. "I swear I could screamy head off and not get through to him at all."

 

[kira blackthorn]

Talio nodded as he turned the shower on. Shouting above the water as he got undressed. "I will talk to him when he gets home! Maybe take him to see a movie. I work a lot so don't get to spend much time with him or any of the kids. "

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

"Thanks." Said Koda. "You know you're a good dad. I think its my fault he acts like this. I leave all the discipline to you... Maybe I'm to soft!" Koda said over the water.

 

[kira blackthorn]

Talio snorted as he stepped into the shower. "Your motherly which is good. They need a mom. Plus I wouldn't like it if you grew all hard on them. That's my job."

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

"Okay." Koda said. "If you say so." Koda got up and checked on Hibiki and Kobi who were still asleep. "Mind if I join you in there?" Koda asked.

Talio hummed. "Come join me. How are the twins?"

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

Koda undressed and got into the shower. "Their asleep." Koda said.

"Luck basterds." Talio grumbled affectionately.

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

Koda giggled. "Don't worry." Koda said. "They're not as lucky as you think, cause they don't get to do this." He turned Talio around and gave him a kiss.

Kado walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist, a look of sheer bliss on his face. "We haven't done that in a while." He said climbing onto the bed.

Talio hummed drying his hair off as he headed for the closet. Getting changed he spoke. "We need to do it more. Maybe we can set up a date night. I get off early on Wednesdays so I should be home by six unless there is an emergency. We can go out to dinner maybe catch a show."

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

"That would be wonderful." Kado said. "But we would have to hire a babysitter." Kado said. "Who cares." Kado said. "I honestly haven't felt that good since the stables. And your energy level was off the charts. But I think were gonna have to clean the shower out." Kado said.

 

[kira blackthorn]

"Isn't that what the maid is for?" Talio asked as he flopped down by him. "I mean I thought she came out Fridays."

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

"I'm not gonna make her clean that up." Kado said. "Besides... I told her she could have off. How would you have felt if she'd interrupted our... 'Play Time'?" Kado asked.

 

[kira blackthorn]

Talio screwed at the thought. "That's not something I want to imagine thank you very much. It's going on ten thirty I think it's time to wake the twins. I'll clean up the mess. Afterwards why don't we go out for an early lunch before going to the park?"

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

"Okay sure." Said Talio. He got dressed in a button down shirt, Greg slacks, leather shoes, and his brown leather jacket he got from Talio. After waking the boys up and calming them down he walked back in the room. "Ready babe?" He asked.

"Yep." Talio nodded putting the lasting the cleaning supplies up. Grabbing his black leather jacket he pulled Kado close and gave him a quick kiss. "Let's go."

 

[Loke Fullbuster]

"M'kay Babe, you driving?" Koda said as they walked out to the car, the boys walking in between them. "Where are we going daddy?" Kobi asked. "Yea." Said Hikibi. "I don't know... Ask your pop." Koda or responded. "Popa?"
