Bio:
Olivia was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, so the saying goes. She comes from old money, and would never want for anything in her life, except maybe the right attention from her parents. She would remain their only child throughout the years, as her mother's only successful pregnancy was an extremely hard one on her body. The doctors told her that if she tried to have another child, it could kill her.

In their fancy mansion lived Olivia, her parents, and her maternal grandmother. The money ran deep on both sides of her family; Olivia never had a chance to have a "normal" childhood. She wasn't allowed to run and play often, and she was constantly chastised for getting dirty when she did. Being dirty or "common" simply wasn't okay or allowed. She had lessons day in and day out, and only extracurriculars that were approved by her family.

Her father worked long and often, and when he wasn't working, he was socializing with the men in his circle. This left Liv to practically be raised by her mother and grandmother, the former of whom was always looking for approval from the latter. Liv knew from a young age that she wasn't quite up to par with what they wanted of her, but she had no choice but to go along with it. She was raised to be a 'proper lady' according to the ridiculous standards set by the other women before her.

It wasn't until she was a teenager she started to have a bit more freedom, but only a little. She fell for one of the guys hired by her father to work around the grounds, and would make excuses to go see him. She still remembers how they were found out, and her father made him leave. She was almost too late to find him, but even when she did, a huge fight ensued and hurtful words were thrown on both sides. And then he was gone.

In the hopes to distract her, her father got her signed to a music label a few months later. But the guy was corrupt and a creep, and he did more damage than good. Liv got her first CD out, and then everything blew up in her face. Pictures were revealed to the public, pictures that he'd taken of her while sleeping or not paying attention. Lies were told to the media, and her reputation went up in flames. She had a few loyal fans, but the damage was done. She fired him and got a new manager, and this one thought it might be a good idea to get her back in the eye of the public, so she was signed up for the show.

Bio:
Cain is the oldest of the two Rothenberg children, being born a year or so before his younger brother, Abel. They do not share a father, though both of their fathers dipped out as soon as they heard the word pregnant. All throughout his life, Cain has never met his father, and though he asked about him as a child their mother made it blatantly clear that she was not interested in talking about him. He never sent letters or cards, and eventually, Cain learned to just not ask.

From a young age, Cain took care of his troublesome little brother. Abel always seemed to get into trouble, no matter what he did or where he went. But Cain was always there to get him out of it, somehow, some way. Their mother was a paranoid schizophrenic who was off of her meds more often than not, and she had these insane religious ideologies. Hence their names, though if you asked Cain about the story from the bible nowadays, he wouldn't be able to tell it to you.

Cain didn't start gaining much of a social life until he was in high school. Though he'd always been a bigger guy, it didn't start becoming muscle until he started working out and becoming more active in gym class. He bulked out and actually became a pretty well-known guy. Though he wasn't exactly popular, people definitely knew who he was. He wasn't the guy to fuck with, and he made that clear freshman year when he punched the star quarterback in the nose.

Still, he managed to not get in trouble for that, and went on to continue his high school career. He never got perfect grades, and missed alot of days due to having to take care of the woman who gave birth to him and his brother. Despite the fact she was a shit mom, she was the only one they had and he didn't want to come home one day to find that she'd offed herself or something.

He met Kaya in high school, but she was never available to him. Still, that never stopped him from flirting with her, making it clear that he wanted her. It wasn't until after high school though that their paths crossed again, and that started their on again, off again relationship. It was toxic as hell, but he didn't want to let her go. Ever. When she packed her bags and left for good, he said fuck it and left as well. He left town, but ended up coming back a few weeks later to help his brother. He decided to go on the show for the money, and the fame that was sure to come with it.

  Kaya’s life was never supposed to be worth anything. She was born to Linda and Karl Montgomery when those two were at their lowest. Karl was never worth anything, all he had was his imminent bad boy image and that was exactly what made Linda fall for him. They were the high school sweethearts and naturally, they got married right after graduation. Karl never knew how to lay low and he was that rebel without a cause to the bone. And in reality, he was the worst of the worst human scum on earth.
  
  Karl knew exactly where Linda was coming from and that her parents were loaded. What he never counted on was that when Linda chose the scum path, her parents disowned her and never wanted to see her again. Young woman agreed and didn’t want to do anything with them either. When she got pregnant, neither of them really expected it. They spent all their money on cheap booze and any drug they could lay their hands on and a baby was a real cut in their budget. No wonder that once the little bundle of joy arrived, neither of them was exactly thrilled. By that time, Linda was not exactly in her right mind. If they gave Kaya up for adoption, her life would have been much better.
  
  All babies cry. And usually, moms know how to calm them down. Linda didn’t. She was annoyed by every louder sound Kay made and she kept locking her in dark closets and this habit remained in the Monaghan family until Kaya was ten. Every louder sound, every sign of rebellion, disobedience, it all got her a trip to the closet where she would spend hours and hours, sitting in the dark. The girl learned to suppress her tears very well, when at home, she kept to herself, locked in her room, listened to music and drew which provided her a form of escape.
  
  The only thing why Kaya never became the same trash as her parents was that she got herself a decent boy. Dominic was not some exciting stud or anything, he was just…Dominic. And he was steady, kept Kaya on the straight path and was always there when she needed. He was always around, came for a nice middle-class family and his parents kind of liked the brunette. She spent a lot of time in his house, even slept over a few times when her home situation was unbearable. Those two were together for something over a year but Kaya broke things off right after graduation, wanting to explore the world.
  
  Two days after graduation, she moved out of her parents’ house, never wanting to see those people again. After all, they didn’t really care about her anyway. To them, she was nothing but an accident they needed to take care of. If they even talked, it was basically all of them yelling at each other and Kaya had enough of that. There had to be more for her than that. More than a filthy apartment that smelled like cheap whiskey, more than hazy eyes that were not able to distinguish between the drug-infused dream and reality. More than her parents ever gave her. She never owed them anything. Not to her mother using closets as a cry remedy, not to her father who tried to teach her to swim by throwing her in a lake and laughed watching Kaya struggle for every breath.
  
  And then she met him. Again. He was there all those years ago, flirting with her shamelessly, even when she was dating Dominic. And Kaya flirted back because there was no harm in that, was it? Only when she was finally free, their paths crossed again and Kaya was free to get involved with him. At that time, she was already a wild thing and that relationship only strengthened that side of her. The two became on again off again thing, strong feelings sprouted which resulted in thunderous arguments and wild making up. They were on it for a few years and then Kay actually packed her stuff and left, supposedly forever. At least that was what she was yelling on her way out. The girl spent a few days in a small apartment over the biker bar where she worked, regretting her rash decision. Naturally, she went back. And imagine her surprise when she kept calling his name in an empty apartment and this time, he was really gone. It was really over.

  Declan was born in the family of accountant Roland Bennet and his wife, elementary school teacher Alice. Alice was told she was never going to be able to bear kids so imagine her surprise when one day, her pregnancy test showed a positive result. Roland took exceptional care of her and made sure that the pregnancy went without problems. Thankfully, Alice brought a wonderful baby boy to this world and Declan remained an only child because his parents didn’t want to poke fate again. They simply raised their son as best as they could and there was nothing extremely unusual in the first five years of Declan’s life.
  
  It was shortly after he started school when he noticed boys running around the field and he was amazed. His dad just smiled and being a huge football fan himself, he enrolled him in a kids’ soccer team where Declan started his sports career. He played for juniors until he went to high school where he discovered that football was way more fun, way more contact sport and he stopped kicking a ball, put on a proper gear and helmet and joined the high school team.
  
  Football became his greatest passion alongside something else. Someone. In his freshman year, he met a girl who became the center of his universe. Natalie Mayfair became his first serious girlfriend and Dec tried his hardest to divide his time between her and football. In his sophomore year, he became the quarterback and it was the greatest highlight of his career. Leading the team to the national victory that year, he was made the captain of the team and held his position for the rest of his time at high school.
  
  Declan knew he needed to work hard in order to get to the university because no matter how much his parents wanted to, they would not be able to put him through the school. Therefore, Dec worked his butt of to make sure he was offered a football scholarship. Meanwhile, he was falling more and more for Natalie and was convinced that the girl was his endgame. The two hardly ever argued, agreed on most of the things and Declan felt she was making him a better person. Around her, he felt thousand times better, like he could lift the mountains. Her positive attitude fueled his ambitions as well and when the time came, when a college scout from University of Southern California came to watch one of his games, Declan presented the best version of himself, ran faster, hit harder, yelled louder and worked out more sweat than in any other game before.
  
  No one wondered when he was actually offered the scholarship and Declan was on cloud nine. He knew this was his one and only chance to go to college and actually make something of himself. Not sure whether the football was what he wanted to do, but it was a start. The worst part was, Natalie was going to a different college. Both being from the state of Washington, it was pretty hard for them to part ways and Dec was not ashamed to shed a tear or two. But with a promise that they were going to make it, they both left to make their dreams come true.
  
  Their freshman year went without a hitch. Declan played for the USC Trojans and though he did not hold any great position, he knew he needed to prove himself first. He also majored in business but the longer he played, the more he was convinced he should give the sports career a try. He and Natalie visited each other as often as possible and during summer, back in Washington, they spent every moment together, painting their future in bright colors.
  
  With the start of the sophomore year, Dec’s trainings became even harder, his trainer wanted to see whether he had what it took to get higher and his time frame shrunk significantly. It was the time when he started to feel first weird moments in his relationship and hoped that it was just a phase. He and Nat were in touch less and less and he found out that she was leaving abroad for her second semester in the last minute. Not wanting to stop her from pursuing her dreams, Dec kissed her goodbye and promised to wait but that promise felt weird as well.
  
  It was a little while after she was gone when she proposed a break. Dec was a bit confused but he accepted. Being free for the first time since his high school freshman year, it took him two weeks to hook up with a pretty brunette cheerleader and that was the beginning of their path to hell. Once Natalie found out, all hell broke lose between them which ended up in a thunderous breakup. They both went on a hookup streak purposefully trying to hurt each other and to say that things ended badly between them was an understatement. Of course, with his hard work, Declan was making that football career happen for him and reaped the fruits of being the sports star. After college, he was invited to play for LA Rams as a rising star and therefore, his application was submitted in the show. BACKSTORY
Natalie was one of the fortunate ones. Born to two loving parents, a bank manager and a stay at home mom, Natalie's childhood was filled with love, laughter and support from her family. Her parents never drank or yelled or punished Natalie or her younger brother. The cookie cutter house was a loving one, with a white picket fence in a neighborhood where you never had to lock the doors.

During her Freshman year of high school she started dating Declan, and he stole her heart. The two were quickly inseparable and did everything together. He was her best friend, and eventually her lover, and as a teen she imagined he was her future as well. Both self-driven, Natalie excelled in school and was Class President, while Declan was a star football player. They were the teenage dream, dating throughout high school- definitely "endgame". Or so Natalie thought.

But then it happened. College acceptance letters arrived, and Natalie and Declan discovered that their paths were taking them in two different directions, or rather, to two different Universities. Still deeply in love and happy together, the couple decided to do the long distance thing. And while it was hard to be apart, they made it work their freshman year of college, reuniting in the summer and during school breaks.

Despite having everything she needed for a happy, simple life, Natalie always strived for more. She didn't want to be a housewife like her mom, or stay at the same job for years and years like her dad. Once her parents had found a comfortable life, they were satisfied and never looked for anything different or better. Natalie wanted more though. She wanted to do more, be more, see more, experience more. And as her sophomore year of college began, Natalie started to fear that her relationship with Declan was holding her back from new experiences and that she was missing out on certain aspects of college life since her boyfriend was hundreds of miles away. Soon to be thousands, when Natalie decided to study abroad for a semester. She had a hard time telling Declan that she was going to be even further away, and waited until the last minute to do so.

A break. That was Natalie's bright idea to fix her F.O.M.O. without completely losing Declan. She still cared for him deeply, but she'd known him so long and they were so comfortable and familiar with each other, that Natalie wanted something new. At least for a bit, before she settled down with the only guy she'd ever dated or had sex with.

And so, a couple weeks after Natalie went off to study in Europe for a semester abroad, she proposed that she and Declan take a break. He consented, and she was finally able to enjoy single life, even if temporary. Unfortunately, Natalie didn't take into consideration that maybe Declan also had been wanting something more than his relationship with her. Only two weeks later, Natalie was crushed to learn through a friend that Declan had already slept with another girl. Two weeks! After five and a half years of being together without straying, Declan had replaced Natalie in his bed in a mere 14 days.

Devastated and spiteful, Natalie sought solace in the beds of the cute Italian boys that flirted with her while she was in Rome. They were nothing more than flings and distractions from her broken heart, but they still caused damage just the same. Their break ultimately led to their official break up. Neither able to forgive the other for their dalliances, and too prideful to admit their own mistakes. And so, Natalie and Declan woke up from their teenage dream romance, and had to figure out how to live apart in the nightmare that was left in its wake.

After graduation, Natalie has bounced from job to job, trying to find something to satisfy her. She has only had a few short-lived relationships, which she has ended before she became too attached, fearing another broken heart. While in between steady jobs, Natalie is a travel photographer for various magazines and blogs. Her goal is now to see as much of the world and do as many things as she can.

BACKSTORY
Grayson has spent his whole life trying to prove himself. He never knew his birth parents, and spent most of his childhood bouncing from foster family to foster family trying to earn their love and sell them on the idea of adopting him. It wasn't until he was 12 that he was successful and was officially adopted by an older couple who decided that they wanted a child after it was too late to have one of their own. His adoptive parents, Jonathan and Sally Moore, were in their 50s and already deep into their careers. While they took good care of Grayson, he never felt that he was their first priority or love. As such, Gray learned that his occupation should be his first love, and threw himself into his academics so that he could one day do anything that he wanted.

As Grayson got older, he realized that he worked so hard to earn success not only to please his parents, but also because it made him happy. He took great pleasure from being the best at anything, and strived to be top dog. After feeling powerless as a child, Gray thrived on the sensation of winning and being better than other people in high school and later in college. His competitiveness was never mean spirited, and he didn't necessarily take pleasure in seeing other people lose though. It was just that someone had to.

During college, Grayson majored in marketing. Years of trying to sell people on liking him had been good training to sell people on buying things. He liked the creative aspect that marketing campaigns allowed beyond straight sales, and flourished. His junior year he earned an internship at a top marketing firm in Los Angeles, which he kept through his senior year as well.

It was through his internship that he met Corryn, the daughter of the marketing firm's owner, and a fellow intern. Realizing that it would be more beneficial to become partners than enemies with Corryn, the two fell into a relationship. Gray respected Corryn immensely, and admired her drive. They were both similar in the way that their career was the most important thing to them, with their relationship taking second place. It worked though. They rose up through the ranks of the firm without directly competing with each other. When one became an assistant, the other did as well. When one became a coordinator, the other did as well. This continued until suddenly they found themselves competing for the same job promotion, with only one opening.

When Corryn was promoted over him, Grayson left the marketing firm for its rival, taking the same promotion there instead. No longer could Corryn and Gray work together to squash their competition. Now they were each other's competition. The relationship crumbled soon after. There was no way for them to be together while competing for the same ad campaigns, and neither was willing to give up their job. Despite being together for 3 years, neither had ever used the word "love". So it came as no surprise that when they were forced to choose between their careers or relationship, they each chose themselves.

On the surface, Graysonhandled the breakup like a business deal that was no longer profitable. Internally, Gray didn't know how he felt about losing Corryn. He'd been so closed off to his emotions and out of touch with the concept of love, that even if he had loved her, he wouldn't know.

After the break up, Grayson rescued a mutt from the shelter to keep him company. He named his dog Ace and takes him everywhere with him, aside from the office. Ace is perhaps the first being that Grayson has learned to love unconditionally.

Grayson’s company is doing the marketing for the show, so as a joke his boss submitted him to be a contestant. She says that if he goes on the show, she’ll give him the big account that he’s been working hard for the past year to get. Wanting the promotion and trying to avoid pushing off his boss, Grayson accepts going on the show.

  In 1906, Barnabas Russell, an English immigrant to Los Angeles who worked at a newspaper company, was quickly growing tired of the same-old tired ads being featured in the classified section. He and his wife had just had their first son, which kept him up most nights. One night, while caring for his infant son, he decided to create an advertising campaign for one of the newspaper's regular clients. The following morning, on his day off, he made the spur of moment decision to go visit that client and pitch his ideas. It was certainly out of left field, but the meeting couldn't have gone better. With the money that the campaign paid, he was able to quit his lowly job at the newspaper and open his own marketing firm.
  
  Russell & Sons quickly rose in status due to Barnabas's revolutionary ideas and plans. It was only a few years later that the Russell family was able to move their business into the big city of Los Angeles. With an increase in clients came the need for expansion, and the family couldn't be happier. When Barnabas retired years later, he decided to give the company to his firstborn son. Thus began the tradition of passing on the business. It continued down the generations until Joseph Russell took possession, taking his place as the fourth President.
  
  The Russell family put a lot of stock in their firstborn sons, the traditional heirs to the business. So, shortly after Joseph married the love of his life, his college sweetheart, Abigail Belle, he was more than excited to start a family. Despite his long work hours and dedication to the job, the couple was happy and so in love. The announcement of Abigail's pregnancy was met with love and elation by all who knew them. But, all good things must come to an end.
  
  Tragedy struck when Abigail went into labor early one morning. There were complications, and she began to hemorrhage. After losing too much blood, Abigail, unfortunately, passed away at the hospital. Thankfully, the doctors were able to save the child. Though he hadn't blatantly stated it, Joseph was hoping for a son, an heir to pass on the firm to as his father had done to him. Much to his disappointment, however, Abigal gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl.
  
  Due to the death of his wife and the disappointment in having a daughter over a son, Joseph threw himself into his work, practically living either in the office or in a first-class seat on a plane to some business trip. Corryn Russell was raised mostly by a live-in nanny. While the woman was nice, she couldn't offer the parental love and affection Cory so desired. She spent the majority of her childhood trying everything she could possibly think of to get into her father's good graces, to try to prove to him that she was worth his time. But, unfortunately, her tactics failed.
  
  After graduating high school with the highest of honors, Corryn decided to pursue a degree in marketing at her father's alma mater in Los Angeles. Sure, it was all an attempt to get him to notice her. But Cory found that she actually quite enjoyed the courses. Her interests and skills in art, design, and photography seemed to come in handy for practical applications, quickly shooting her near the top of her class. Her portfolio became more impressive by the day, so much so that when her junior year rolled around, there was no way Russell & Sons could turn her internship application down.
  
  It was at this internship that Cory met Gray, a fellow student and intern as well. He was handsome, impressive, ambitious, and just as competitive as she was to make it to the top. Their acquaintanceship turned into a business partnership hidden under the guise of a romantic relationship, which accelerated their careers more than they could have imagined. From interns to assistants to coordinators, each promotion seemed to come quicker than the one before. It seemed as if the pair were unstoppable. But, it came to an abrupt end when Corryn accepted a position as a marketing executive.
  
  Their relationship had always been second fiddle to their careers. So, when the position opened up, she was more than excited to apply. It was finally a chance for her to interview directly with her father, to show him how far she had come and how beneficial to the company she was. More importantly, though, it was a chance for her to prove to him that, despite not being a son, she still deserved to take over the company once he retired. It had never occurred to her that Gray would also be vying for the same position, and only one of them could take home prize.
  
  Though she would never admit it, it did hurt a bit when he left to join another company. Their relationship had been built entirely on working together, and now that he was gone, they were directly competing with one another. Neither was great in expressing or understanding their feelings, and the lack of communication in that sense quickly caused the relationship to crumble. Corryn wasn't sure what she felt for Gray, if it was love or something else entirely. She hadn't really known what it was like to be loved, and certainly didn't know how to love. Nevertheless, she did miss him and the fun times they had shared working together.
  
  The pair had kept in touch with one another, though it wasn't entirely on purpose. Now that Gray worked at a rival firm, they were constantly competing for the same clients. So, when he contacted her in an attempt to get her to join the exes reality show with him, there was no way Cory could turn down a direct challenge like that. Plus, maybe her time there would allow her enough intel to be able to outcompete Grayson for another contract. Or maybe they could actually talk and figure things out.   Abel was born in Chicago as the second of the two Rothenberg children to a mother with paranoid schizophrenia and an intense interest in religion. She rarely took her meds and was usually in no shape to take care of her sons, leaving Abel and his older brother, Cain, to their own devices. It's safe to say that he was anything but planned. Because his father denied that Abe was actually his son, he didn't really have a father figure in his life. So, unfortunately, he had to grow up fairly quickly. Unfortunately, however, trouble seemed to follow Abel where he went. Whether it was stealing a candy bar from the convenience store or egging houses with his friends, Abel constantly had to be bailed out as a kid. And unfortunately, not much changed going into adulthood.
  
  When Cain turned 18 years old, their mother packed up her things and left the boys alone, claiming she could no longer take care of them. From that point forward, it was just them. The two grew closer than ever, the unbreakable brother bond that seemed to counter the Biblical story they were named after. To try and help out with their financial situation, Abel took a job as a handyman for a local wealthy family built on old money. He enjoyed the job as it was fairly easy, and it paid well. However, what Abe didn't realize was that the job was doing something far more valuable than money: it was keeping him out of trouble.
  
  For a period of a few years, Abel didn't have to ask Cain to bail him out. He stuck to the straightened arrow, graduated high school, kept his head down, and made money. Shortly into his time with the Kennedy family, Abe met the Kennedy heiress, a girl a few years younger than him named Olivia. She was pretty, fun, talented, everything that made her entirely out of his league. After all, he barely had enough to pay the electricity bill let alone afford something even remotely close to the Kennedy mansion. Nevertheless, she kept coming around, making excuses to come see him despite knowing he was the help.
  
  After a while, Abel fell hard for Olivia. They started dating, meeting secretly, and hiding their relationship from the rest of the world, especially her father. However, the lies could only last so long, and eventually, they were found out. Mr. Kennedy came to Abe, offering him an exorbitant amount of money to break things off with Olivia, leave, and never return. Drowning in bills and tired of living in poverty, he decided to take the money to try and pay back Cain for some of what he had done for his little brother.
  
  Unfortunately, before Abe could disappear, Olivia found him. She asked him to stay, asked him to fight for them. And as much as he wanted to, the power her father had as well as the opportunity to not be as broke as he was then weighed too heavily. They argued, said some hurtful words, and then he left. It's been a few years now, and the money from Olivia's father is gone. Some was given to Cain and the rest was put towards a few necessities like a motorcycle and an apartment that didn't need bars on the windows. Nevertheless, money is king, and Abe soon needed more.
  
  Broke and nearly unable to make ends meet, Abel took up a job working as a mechanic in a shop in the not-so-great part of Chicago. It paid decently well but wasn't really enough. So, when the owner offered him a deal to make a lot more money, Abe eagerly jumped at the chance. A few stolen cars sold for parts later, he ended up back where he was before he had met the Kennedy's: in trouble. Knee deep in court fees and bills, Abe decided to go on the show for the money and potential fame that might come with it. He's got to dig himself out somehow.
