Some questions to answer! (Please!!)

Hello all!

I'm Toby and blah blah, long story short, I haven't role-played in a forum in forever so I just had a few questions that I hoped could be cleared up so I wasn't so nervous about this whole thing!!

1) Do you guys still do stories where one person can have multiple characters?

2) If I flesh out a whole story can I post the starter on the actual forum it relates to and wait for people to submit characters that way? Or do I have to plot in the interest forum and get people that way..?

3)Is there any sort of etiquette tips that you have?

Thanks a bunch!! <3

1. Yes. It's called "doubling, tripling, etc." in one on ones.

2. You can do it however you want. That said, 99% of users look for new roleplays on interest checks, not by reading through the pre-created roleplay forums. For success, I do suggest creating an interest check.

3. Be polite. c: As a GM, you are allowed to accept/deny players at your will, but try and be as kind as possible.

A good place to go for tips on mAking roleplays specifically is the Tutorial subforum

Tutorials

Also asking questions of the GM of any group you join or any onexone partner you roleplay with.

There are no stupid questions and most people enjoy helping others find there way

@readingraebow Thank you so much! It's good to know people hopefully won't hate me asking questions, because thats what I get most nervous about!

Nah I mean as long as your not like super obnoxious and ask the same question over and over for hours than asking questions is fine. It's how we all learn

Doubling or tripling doesn't always even cover it! In this ongoing Mass Effect RP my partner and I are basically playing an entire mercenary crew. A fleshed-out, lived-in universe usually needs to contain more people than the player characters. If you're setting up to GM an adventure, it is completely expected and normal.
