is it against the rules to write a story for one's self? like i just write a play by post story of my own making?

No, it is not against the rules, though I would suggest doing something like that in the private workshop forum. Or, if you're looking for people to give feedback, then you can post it in the prose forum.

Instead of making an rp thread, like Musician says I'd post it in the Prose forum. Even if you aren't looking for feedback you can still post there, too. Other people use the prose and art forums to showcase things instead of seek critique.


But if you want, you can still post it in the private workshop. Either way!
