Soldiers of Chaos

-.-.Lucifer.-.-

Previously Lucifer1
((I figured we could have the two at the base, Annie had just broken out of the crystallized shell, and Armin is trying to convince Eren not to pursue her until the rest of the Military police had arrived. If you haven't already guessed who the Armored Titan is, then oh well I'm just going to spoil it for you anyways.))

Eren had been in the valley, the remaining 104th graduating class along his side. A small quarrel had begun between Mikasa and the human-titan, their cheeks burning as anger swelled around them. The female-titan had just broken free form her diamond-like cocoon, leaving shrapnel of their previously standing base scattered along the grass. Carcasses of unfortunate soldiers littered the plains, blood raining down on their skulls. Green eyes widened as rage filled in his throat, words spewing form his lips without any intention to harm, but he knew his harsh sentences must have cut deep.

"Eren you're not going after her alone! You could be killed!" She screamed, her dark eyes flickering with glossy tears. She blinked hard, the voice of the titan slitting her breath.

"What's one life compared to all of the others she's taken form us?" He yelled back, his nose barely touching hers. He turned towards his blond haired friend, the blue hues drawing him in intensely. "Mikasa, watch over Armin." He said, lifting his hand to his lips, jaw unhinging, anticipating the change.

"I'm going with you." She breathed, placing a hand over his wrist. He ripped his arm away from her, frustration flashing in his emerald hues.

"I told you to watch Armin." He repeated, vision flickering back to the titan breaking away from them in the distance. "I'm going to rip her to shreds." His voice deepened, malice dropping from his lips. The scarlet liquid that slid down the bridge of his nose only adding to the intense air about him, causing most of the soldiers to stop in their tracks.

"Armin tell him!" She pleaded.

Armin raised his head slightly, having not interfered in their fight over Annie, or endearingly, the female titan. Until his was asked, or rather pleaded to interject.

"I don't need looking after, Eren." He put the fact gently, staring back into his friends eyes for those few seconds.

"I think that Mikasa is right, you shouldn't go after the Female Titan until the rest of the Military Police get here, I know you think that you could tear her to shreds, and I don't doubt that you could or anything. It's just that..." He bowed his head slightly, chewing on his nail.

"I don't want you to get hurt again." His finalisation was whispered as he looked back up to the brawling pair, sighing slightly as he coiled some hair around his finger.

"You two are the best friends ever, and I can't stand when you fight, It upsets me." The blonde pouted slightly, picking up a brightly coloured flower from the patch that was beside him.

"Please don't go off by yourself, Eren. Please..." Armin looked up at the green eyed boy again, his own eyes pleading.

Eren blinked once, his hand falling over the back of the other's wrist. He folded his fingers over the flower that Armin grasped in his hand, crushing it like the female-titannhad crushed his will to live. "I'm not going to die, Armin." He growled, but his gaze had softened at the sight of the young man. "Stay here. If something happens, run." He demanded before turning away.

"Eren!" Mikasa tried to interrupt, jumping in front of the titan-shifter to stall his inevitable fate. "Don't do th--"

Eren shoved her to the side and sped off.

His legs worked quickly, muscles burning as he lifted a hand to his lips once more. Teeth ripped through the soft flesh, streams of scarlet only adding to the pools of blood that littered their surroundings. A large rumbling crack fell from the heavens, yellow light splitting the sky and shooting into Yeager's skull. Heat filled his body, skin splitting as a large Fifty foot Titan appeared in his place. A scream escaped his lip-less face.

Sculpted arms worked, clawing at the air as he closed the gap between him and the female titan.

Annie looked over her shoulder silver eyes widening as the green-eyed giant slammed his face into her back, teeth clasping around her side. Red fingers grasped into a fist slamming her crystal-coated hand into the top of Eren's head, causing his teeth to split. They toppled over, his large arms grasping tightly to her legs, squeezing until he heard an audible crack of bones. She screamed, shaking the earth below them. Her balled hand crashed into his nose repeatedly, causing him to release his grip. Steam flung from her wounds as she attempted to crawl away using only her upper body.

The male titan lay motionless as she scurried away.

The character nestled in the nape of the large creature's neck stirred, eyes opened wide. He gritted his teeth, trying to will his shell to keep going. No, no no! She needs to pay. Kill, kill them all!

His leg twitched, head shifting up slowly as the titan overtook his will. The scent of humans lay thick over the land, making his large slab of steaming flesh shoot it's head towards the cadets behind him. A tongue fell from crooked teeth, tasting the air.

Eren had no control anymore.

Mikasa stared wide-eyed, her stomach churning as realization kicked in. "He... he's letting her go?" She shifted her stance in front of Armin, blades grasped tightly, ready to slice her brother from the nape of the Giant.

Armin nodded, a faint frown across his face.

"He's letting her go." He answered the girls question with a single nod.

Without a single word, Armin rushed forwards, almost knocking Mikasa over as he ran towards his friend, who had acted more like a brother over the years really.

"EREN?!" He called, tears brewing in his eyes as he looked on at the sight.

Being sensible, the smaller boy kept his distance from the two, Annie and Eren.

"PLEASE, TELL US IF YOU'RE ALRIGHT!" It wasn't a call this time, it was a plain scream. Tears began to stream down his cheeks, but he didn't dare go any closer, his head whipped around when a figure darted past him, Mikasa.

"MIKASA! YOU CANT!" He cried, running after the girl and dragging her backwards, so that they both landed on the ground, Mikasa on top of Armin.

"You have to stay back! You don't know what state either of them are in!" He persisted in holding the girl to his chest, so that she could not move.

The titan in front of the quarralingnhumans stood to its feet, saliva drilling from a lip-less maw. Eren's eyes drooped, lips falling as his brain clouded over with images he couldn't control. The thought of blood rollimgbalomg his tongue made the hazed human giddy. His lids fell, closing as a hallucination draped around the recesses of his mind, making the titan he controlled to move about mindlessly.

A large hand reached down, about to grasp hold of the two soldiers.

Mikasa quickly shifted her weight to the side, pinning Armin to the ground. Her dark eyes widened as she looked into the crystal hues of her old friend. "Armin, run!" She pleaded, just as a loomimgnfingers grasped around her body, nliftingnher from the smaller form. She slid her blade quickly between Eren's fingers, slicing his tips. She pulled on her left lever, a hook shooting out and clasping onto the creature's face. Her forehead fell along the large Titan's, gaze fixed on hisnglowimg hues. "Eren! Wake up!" She screamed, slamming her long blade into the creature's eye, a yelp escaping from his throat.

Armin sprinted as he was told, now a safe distance away from the unfolding spectacle. His blue orbs wide with fear and awe. He could only watch on in silence as Mikasa again overpowered her brother. He wanted to shout to her and tell her not to be so rough, but then he realised that a certain 'roughness' was probably the best tactic to make Eren snap of his Titan 'state'.

"PLEASE WAKE UP!" He mirrored Mikasa's cry. His eyes narrowing slightly.

He didn't know what he should do. He'd been told to run, well. Rather ordered to run. So he didn't know if interfering would be the best thing to do.

"PLEASE MAKE HIM WAKE UP!" He shouted to Mikasa, trying his best to encourage the girl. He didn't honestly think he was being much of a help though, shouting really wasn't going to do much good, apart from willing Eren to wake up and willing Mikasa to make him do so.

A hand shot up, ramming the small human against the bridge of Seems nose. He clasped his fingers around her small body, ripping the large blades from his flesh. Steam billowed from his wounds, an unconscious noise in his palm. He lifted the soldier above his head, jaw cracking as he opened his maw wide.

Mikasa had failed at awakening Eren from his daze, leaving her helpless against the titan's hunger.

He didn't wake up.

Eren didn't wake up, Mikasa was hurt and Armin was their only hope.

"Okay. You're going to wake up." He kicked his slender legs into motion, sprinting towards his friend and scaling his finger first, then climbing ever so carefully up his arm and onto his shoulder. So scared that he was going to be detected by the Titan any minute now, but he had to keep going. He had to wake Eren up.

He slowly, silently took out one of his blades, shaking as he readied himself.

He pressed his lips to Eren's ear.

"Hey. It's me, it's Armin. Your friend. Eren, you've hurt Mikasa. You've hurt yourself... And more people are going to hurt you if you don't WAKE UP!" The last part was screamed, his eyes watering as he thrust the blade into Eren's ear. Digging it in deeply.

He screamed again when he felt a giant hand clutching his hood.

This wasn't good at all. Eren had got him, he began kick and flail his legs around.

"MIKASA!"

Something foreign found itself in his ear, causing the human inside of the giant's nape to shoot his eyes open. A blood curdling scream ripped through his lungs as his now healed hand swept up to his shoulder, grasping his attacker by the hood of his Survey Corps cloak.

The titan dropped the woman he'd been holding, a cadet nearby had watched Mikasa drop. The unnamed soldier swept under the humanoid, catching the limp body in his hands.

Eren plucked the figure from the side of his head, blade falling from his eardrum, making another yelp ripple through his throat. He lifted a blond haired soldier to his face, green eyes widening as the blue hues of Armin stained with tears. He quickly regained his composure, letting the cadet down gently before falling to the ground, head hanging low. Dark hair licked his cheeks, glowing emerald eyes pinned on the humans who surrounded his Titan.

The human-titan ripped his face from the red sinews keeping him against the creature's vertebrae. Armin...hold on. I didn't mean to...

He bit down on the pink flesh that crawled up his hand, sprouting from the wound he'd inflicted with his teeth. Steam formed around him, escaping from the muscles he detached from his limbs. Heat surrounded him, causing his lungs to sting with every frantic breath he seized. He balled his fingers into fists, squeezing the spine of the rapidly decaying creature between his legs as he clawed at the skin encasing him. He broke free, eyes sore with large red burns along his lids and cheeks.

Eren clawed his way out of the huge creature's back, black flesh giving way under his fingertips. "Armin!" He called, sliding down the arm of his large mound of titan. His brows pulled up with concern, heart racing rapidly. His throat closed as he raced towards his friend. He grabbed the smaller male, his arms wrapping around him tightly, fingers grasping the back of his uniform. "I almost killed you." He breathed, his lip quivering. "Are you hurt? How's your body?" He suppressed the urge to burst into tears. "Where's Mikasa?" He asked still holding the cadet against his chest.

Armin crashed at Eren, nuzzling his head into the crook of the taller male's neck, crying hard.

"It's okay, it's okay..." He whispered, his hair falling around Eren's shoulder.

"I'm fine, I'm not hurt... See?" He said, wriggling away from his brown haired friend and showing him his unscathed body.

He looked around to Mikasa in the arms of the cadet, nodding to him in thanks.

"Mikasa... I'm not sure about her." He whispered, tears still streaming down his fair cheeks. Armin nuzzled his friend's neck again, his arms wrapped around his waist.

"I'm just glad you're okay, Eren." He said weakly, his whole body shaking.

"I love you..." He whispered into his ear, tightening his grip on the other.

It wasn't often they told each other that. They did say it though. It wasn't an entirely new thing. It just hadn't been said in a while, and the last few times Armin had said it, there were more intense feelings behind it.

Relief washed over him when his friend tore away, noting he had been unharmed in the male's uncontrollable frenzy. The feeling of his soft blond locks pressing against the crook of his neck almost calmed him. Then, Armin mentioned the dark haired girl, and how unsure his voice seemed when he spoke of her.

Eren's heart leaped in his throat at the sight of his sister limp in the redheaded cadet's arms. He felt fear grip his stomach. Images of what was going through his head when he was about to eat Ackerman caused a sickness to ripple under his abdomen. Blood flashed behind his lids, the feeling of raw flesh slithering down his throat burned in the back of his brain. He imagined the crunch of bone, marrow giving away under his molars. The sound of the other's soft voice against his ear only added to the mixture of unknown emotions piling under his tongue. He quickly pulled away from the doe-eyed boy, his hand camping over his belly as a surge of nausea crept up the back of his mouth. The smell of rotting bodies, and decaying blood filled his nostrils. He heaved, sick falling along the grass and splashing over his boots. His emerald eyes were wide as the thoughts continued to consume his mind. I almost ate a human. I'm a monster. Bile flung from his mouth again, mixing with the crimson liquid that pooled around him. He lifted his hand, trying to motion for Armin to step back. His insides continued to relieve their contents among the ground, his mind on fire.

What was he? Why was he like this? What made him crave the blood of a human so easily?

He was hunched over, palms pressed tightly to his knees. He spit into the dirt, trying to get the taste of his sick out of the corners of his mouth.

Armin let out a small whine as Eren ran away, sighing gently and ignoring his friend's suggestions, stepping closer and rubbing his back affectionately, kissing his hair gently. As Eren stood up and wiped the corners of his mouth, the smaller of the two boys stared on at him.

"I don't know how you must be feeling, Eren. But I can understand that it's probably pretty nasty... but, Mikasa isn't as bad she looks..." He whispered, in a desperate attempt to cheer the other boy up. He just didn't know if he was doing so, or how to do a better job at it.

Armin linked their fingers without a word and nuzzled his cheek.

"She'll be okay. she's in good hands." He said with a timid smile, pulling Eren to his chest and hugging him gently.

"Are you feeling okay? not too sick still?"

The boy stared on blankly, eyes taking in everything and nothing at all. The thoughts piled in the back of his mind, making his head spin unpleasantly. "She's gone..." he mumbled, indicating that their prisoner had escaped. He let Annie slip through the cracks, again. He failed, again, letting her live without a fight. He should have left as soon as he felt the rumbling under his feet, should have changed when her head ripped through their base. He wanted to rip his skin open and dump all his insides onto the ground, to take his shame and anguish away. So many lives had been lost within the past few moments, so much blood spilled.

The feeling of small fingers grasping his hand ripped him back to the present, surprise falling over his now red-tinged face. He cast a glance down at the blonde locks that nestled close to him, a small nose brushing against his cheek. His heart leaped again, only this time it lurched with an unknown feeling of satisfaction at the closeness of his friend. For a moment he forgot the task at hand, letting his hand curl around Armin's.

"E-Eren..." Mikasa croaked, her dark eyes fluttering open. As soon as the still calming moment came, it passed, releasing the taller male from his half-daze. He ripped away from the blonde boy, coming closely to his sister, a palm laying on her blood-crusted cheek. "I'm so sorry Mikasa." He cried, the cheap stitches holding him together unraveling at the sound of her weak voice. She tried to move, her leg fashioned at a sickening angle, arms limp at their sides. Her body was broken and it was all his fault. Everything was his doing.

"We need to get her into the Trost District, she needs a doctor!" He commanded, the cadet going stiff as orders filtered into their ears. "Where's the Corporal?" He asked frantically, searching about for Levi Heichou.

((If you want to play Levi that would be awesome, he's kind of a big deal, considering he's the highest ranking officer. If you want we could make is a love triangle, where Armin and Levi love Yeager, but Eren can't make up his slowly decaying mind.))

((sure ouo, it wouldn't be my first time rp'ing Levi, where as that's my first as Armin, I hope I'm okay as him xD ))

The hot headed, black haired Corporal shoved through the taller cadets, his eyes surveying the limp girl in one of his soldier's arms. He hissed quietly.

"What are you waiting for?!" a loud voice escaped his thin lips. "A written invitation?! take her NOW! go, go! most of you stay back, sort yourselves out!" He continued to shout until Eren crashed into him, making him lose his footing and fall on his behind. Levi coughed, his eyes narrowed.

"I'm guessing this is your fault?" He questioned, ignoring the hand that was outstretched to help him up, turning to watch a few of his cadets run off into the thicket with the girl.

Heichou picked himself up, eyes still locked with Eren's.

"WHERE IS THE FEMALE TITAN?!" His eyes widened and he raised his hand, slapping him sharply about the face.

"you let her go, fantastic."

((Armin seems like a fairly easy character to play, and you're doing a swell job. I hope my Eren Yeager skills are decent xD ))

Something about the same size as Armin came colliding into his chest, his chin ramming against a slim forehead, black hair raking up into his mouth as the two soldiers slammed into each other. Eyes widened as the Corporal fell to the ground in front of him. One of the stray cadets bustled over, offering his hand to the high-ranked hero only to be shot down instantaniously.

The man's harsh words gripped at his ears, making his face fall abruptly. "Levi, I--" he was about to explain himself when an open palm slashed against his cheek, making his head whip to the side. A burning sensation formed over his skin, his hand flying to the red flesh. He winced, stumbling back from the man's force, green hues falling to the ground as he regained his composure. He gritted his teeth, stomach lurching as anger built in his chest. "It's not like I didn't try to retrieved her!" He snapped, his body a few inches in front of Armin's. His mind reeled back to moments before the attack. Everything had seemed so still, and calm. Omens seizing to appear before the large titan ripped through their base, growing from the catacombs below. Her limbs had broken down the stone walls, ceiling collapsing in on itself. So many soldiers had been trapped inside, their fate sealed by the fallen debris if they hadn't been crushed under Annie's form already.

Eren stared at the dark-haired short man, a glare forming in his crazed eyes. "Where were you?! You're just as much at fault as I am!" He sneered, hands shaking as fire ran through his veins.

((Thanks! your Eren skills are fabu c:))

Eren listened to what he had to say, his eyes regaining their natural width as he withdrew his hand and put it behind his back, closely followed by his other hand.

"I had other matters to attend to. You don't have the authority to question me!" he argued, gritting his teeth as he looked up at the taller male.

"You were competent of looking after Miss. Leonhardt, all's you had to do was wait! we weren't all that far away! You need to learn to contain your anger and restrain yourself. For gods sake." He ran a hand through his hair. Sighing.

"Did you happen to see the direction that she ran in? North, South?" He questioned, his tone softening slightly. He didn't want to be angry.

Eren's voice pitched high, accusations slamming into his heart like arrows. "Authority?!" He spat, emerald daggers prodding at the older man's face. He gripped his hands into fists, palm falling from the large red mark across his left cheek. It was just like Levi to set him up, just to laugh in his face when failure tripped him. He was basically on all fours, being slammed in the ribs by multiple parties, reminding him of the curse that rotated around his form. Destruction followed him everywhere.

"My anger has nothing to do with it." He denied, but deep in his gut he knew the Corporal was right. His impulsive behavior had cost them lives, and those souls were Yeager's responcability. The eyes of fallen soldiers flashed behind his lids, grotesque visions haunting him. "She headed south, towards Maria." He looked down at the brass key that fell along his chest, knowing where the titan was headed. "Either Annie is looking for my father, or going towards the Shinganshina District." He said, the cold metal grasped tightly in his fist. Eren turned towards Armin, knowing the male had tried to keep the human-titan calm. Mikasa and him had both tried to contain the beast inside of the boy, only to wind up hurt or worse, still alive. He gritted his teeth, lowering his gaze. He couldn't look at his friend, knowing how close he'd been to swallowing the man whole. "I couldn't have possibly known she would escape today. I've tried for days to rip her from that shell" he looked down at his hands, remembering the countless hours he'd spent ramming his fists into the clear stone, desperately trying to release her. All the questions he'd screamed in her face, were all swallowed whole.

Levi took it all in, his anger almost completely subsided when he heard the boy's reasoning, he paused Eren for a minute. Turning to his men.

"SPLIT OFF INTO TWO HALVES. ONE HALF OF YOU TO ONE PLACE, THE OTHER TO THE OTHER!" He looked towards the fumbling soldiers.

useless.

"YES, NOW!"
He shouted, watching as the men split off. He then turned back to the pair and looked to Armin.

"Go with one half of the group." Armin nodded quickly, scuttling off behind the group headed towards Maria. Once Armin was quite a distance away, Levi turned back to Eren and sighed, dejectedly hanging his head.

"I'm sorry for slapping you... and getting angry when I didn't know the full story. I'm not usually one to say sorry, but there it is..."

Eren gritted his teeth, his hand falling along Armin s shoulder before he could move on. "I'm not leaving Armin's side." He spat at the Corporal, eyes on angry fire. If his notions were correct, the short soldier couldn't refuse considering Yeager was his responcability. He pushed forward, both hands now falling over the blonde's clavicle, thumbs rolling along his shoulder blades. He eyed Levi, making his statement clear as he formed in the group who would partake in a pursuit towards Wall Maria. His gaze fell on the displeased faces of his comrades, all of them seemingly underjoyed to be in the presence of another titan-shifter. It was obvious that Eren wasn't wanted, here or in the interior. He felt like he didn't belong, this notion clouding his thoughts and making him hang his head low. Chin slightly pressed on the top of the blonde's head, he shot daggers at the other cadets, offended by their choice of words while they muttered amongst themselves

Armin found himself nuzzled into the chest of Eren, which was quite comforting really. He didn't want to leave Eren's side either, and he thought it nice that Eren had made a stand against Heichou, for him... He shakily wrapped his arms around the others waist, pressing his head against Eren to try and block everything out.

Levi looked on at the two of them.

"How sweet." He spat back, his eyes narrow. "But Eren, you are not Armin's mother." He said briskly. Emitting childish sniggers from some of the younger cadets. Which made Levi whip around.

"SHUT UP!" He shouted, watching as they fell silent.

Shaky hands wrapped themselves around the tall soldier's torso, Armin burying his face in his chest. This odd form of affection lit a flame in his chest. The new warm feeling confused thentitan-shifter, making him break away from his friend's embrace, cheeks on fire as the Corporal mentioned his loyalty towards his friend as 'cute'.

"Armin, stay sharp." He reminded him, hand falling on top of the cadet's head, and turning him to face Heichou. A ghost of the blonde's arms stayed along his abdominal, reminding him of the tug on his heart he felt when faced with the decision of 'eat or don't eat' during the battle in Wall Sina. He glared at Levi once more, the only cadet ballsey enough to, literally, talk down to the Corporal. "This babbling won't bring us any closer to the female-titan, sir." He said, practically spitting the title. Green eyes fixed on dark hues, his bite just as bad as his bark. "Regardless of where you put me, I'm not going unless Armin is. I don't give a shit if it pleases you or not, considering the fate of everyone rests on our shoulders." He said 'our' like it was a foreign object in his mouth. Grouping himself with Heichou was the last thing he wanted, considering his sour attitude and obvious detest for Yeager. "I'm staying."

Armin stumbled slightly as Eren pulled away, hanging his head and wringing his hand slightly, eyes cast down towards the floor like he was a puppy that had done something wrong.

Levi only got angrier as the boy went on, partly because he was being a little brat, and partly because he was correct. Almost about everything.

"Fine!" He hissed through gritted teeth, shoving Armin and Eren towards the group that were headed to Maria. "Go with your boyfriend. Although he doesn't need protecting." The corporal stated, walking off in the opposite direction, Climbing back onto his horse.

"GO!" And with that, the groups set off, some on horseback and some jogging alongside them.

Eren stumbled forward, arms shooting out to shove the blonde forward as to not knock him to the ground. He shot a glare over his shoulder towards Levi. "He's not my boyfriend..." he mumbled, jogging on. He wasn't, right? If they had been in a relationship, Eren had been in the dark about it for however long? He tried to brush the thought to the side, moving his legs fast as they pressed forward. He could feel the earth rumble as they pressed towards Titan territory, the sound of large feet slamming against the dirt rattling Eren's bones. His hands fell along the blades at his side, fingers wrapped around the levers waiting for something to happen.

Time seemed to stand still as a fifteen meter (50 ft) titan crashed through the bracket to their right, creeping along the grass on all fours. It's head was twisted sideways, tongue lawling between lip-less jaws. Coal colored eyes stared through their souls, jaw unhinged as it leaped forward like a spider. Green eyes widened as he grabbed Armin by the wrist pulling him to the right sharply, just in time for his arm to be grazed slightly by the large teeth. It grasped hold of his dirge, ripping the fabric from his body, almost taking his arm with it. He shoved the blond to the ground, pressing down on his left blade. The hook shot out, slamming into the creature's neck and propelling him towards the Titan's body. A sickening smile fell over his lips as he rotated through the air, bringing his blades together to slice a chunk from the nape. A satisfying splatter of blood flung across his face, steaming as he finished his task. Another fifteen meter giant ran towards them, arms limp to their sides. The commotion from the two human-titans battling earlier had attracted the attention of a swarm of these monsters. "Titans!" He yelled pressing down on his right blade, anchoring himself to the ground.

Armin's head whipped around when Eren grabbed his wrist, fixed on the Titan in front of them, when the brown haired boy shoved him to the floor, he fell on his knees, grazing them through the white pants on the stony path. His eyes widened again as pain rushed to his knees. The blonde stood straight up, pulling gravel from the cuts, biting his lip.

He turned to the fight, all the cadets all over the horde of titans, he was scared, obviously bit he rushed forwards all the same and fought beside Eren. Doing all he could.

When a blonde head bobbed close to him, the human-titan whipped his head around to face Armin. A shadow loomed over the two, causing Eren to stop in his tracks. He held his breath, eyes so wide they threatened to pop out of their sockets. The brown-haired man looked up.

A bald titan, with bones for fingers and their ribs protruding from thin skin, stood behind him. He took in it's sunken cheeks, and near non existant nose. A hand raised above it's head, slamming down hard towards the grass.

Eren worked quickly, his blades falling to his hips as he leaped over Armin, shoving him to the ground. He grasped his arms tightly around the shorter male, forehead pressed tightly to the top of his blonde locks. He felt the world spiral as their bodies loosely rolled on the ground, the impact of the creature's fist against the earth rattling Yeager's bones. His shoulders slammed against rocks, legs sliding over the rough vegetation kicking up dirt. With his blades flying around them violently, one slid into the titan-shifter's back.

They landed a meter away from the giant, his other sword lodged deep in the valley. Green eyes stayed large with shock, the silver weapon threatening to poke through the skin of his abdomen. Blood dripped from his lips as he lifted his body from Armin's, hands on either side of the boy's head. Dark hair fell over his lids, his limbs quivering as he got into a kneeling position. He quickly looked up, hues bulging as the titan recovered. All he saw was the blur of a huge face, teeth flashing, eyes on its prey. He grabbed his friend, throwing them both to the side. The titan-shifter used all his remaining strength to fling Arlert as far away from the danger as possible, his teeth gritting. His shoulder gave way as his fingers released their grip on the blonde's clothing, his arm shooting from it's socket.

He felt his body collide with the downs of grass once more, his back slamming hard along the green surface. The blade slid through the cusp of flesh, more scarlet liquid flying from the boy's mouth. He glanced at his other blade, fear gripping him by the throat. He'd shattered the razor, leaving him defenseless against the creature that reached for him once more. He closed his eyes tightly, hoping another soldier would be able to save him. "Levi..." he croaked, voice gurgling as copper-tasting liquid built in his punctured lungs.
