Soba's Surviving Artdump

Orange Soba

Drawing EVERYBODY.
On an ancient CD I discovered a few more backups of some old art that I had finished, and decided to share them here, if only because I was overjoyed that these survived intact when I believed them lost. These are some pretty old works, but ones I still like, and the two at the end are the request pics I did for Somafel and TheRoadGoesEverOn, because you never know when the noodles will take interest and surprise you with a picture done!

Firstly, Thanks!

It's a long story but the short version is I'm having to completely rebuild my galleries because I LOST my entire portfolio due to moving across the US border to get married. Never choose a basement to store old works of art, even if they're inside a protective storage bin, kids. So no, this is more or less all  the art of mine I've got to show that's .... appropriate for this site. Ahem. *cough*. Hey, don't judge, I've gotta eat too.

The portrait of the little girl was done entirely by eye. I didn't use any overpainting or overlay tricks... mostly because at the time I didn't know about them. I was pretty new to the digital art scene back then, having mostly worked in traditional mediums.  Cripes, I can barely believe it's been 10 years since I finished that one.
