The night sky was beautiful as always. No speck of clouds were in sight and the moon was full and bright shinning its light upon the small city. The stars twinkle as brightly as they could trying to match the moon beauty. Without the stars the sky would be plain like day and only the moon will be able to capture its boring darkness. It was pretty late for anybody to be out late. There were rumors that after midnight weird things were happening. People being killed or kidnap. Some even losted some of their memory. It was weird and strange, but to Saya it was just rumors. She didn't believe nor what the news said. The brown skinned girl, Saya, slightly huddle up in her coat for warmth. She adjusted her scarf a little bit so her neck wouldn't get cold. It was only the middle of Fall and it already felt like winter. Saya walked down the dim light sidewalk of the small city she lived in. She was just heading home after working overshift at her job. She felt tried and needed some sleep quick. Her mind came across the rumors she had always been hearing about. She looked around her surroundings seeing nothing strange or anything. She sighed heavily thinking how ridiculous the rumors are. Nothing strange or ordinary happen in this city. Why would something happen now? A strong gust of cold wind fell by her cause her to pause in her footsteps and shiver. Saya wasnt meamt for the cold weather, but she loved the change of colors in the leaves.


She quickly paced herself taking a right turn into an alleyway. It was a short cut of leading her straight to the woods which is located behind the city. Just within the woods was a small home which where Saya lived in, by herself. She found it better for herself, isolated from society. She disliked people due to her childhood. Everyone thought she was weird and different and kids often teased her. Man stared at her with lust eyes dude to her figure and the size of her chest. Due to her unfaithful experiences, she remained to be a muted child at the age of 15. Once use to be lively little girl became quiet and quite harsh. Though she was only eighteen, but she mange to live allow pretty well. Her parents were okay with her decision living alone, specially in the woods. They would visit her from time to time.


She finally made it to the woods and walked along the familiar path that leaded to her home. The woods was very beautiful during the day, but at night it felt like an horror movie. Anything could pop out and scare you. People say it was pretty dangerous, but Saya didn't believe that. She particularly live in the woods so she has no choice but to walk through it. And her parents home was on the other side of the city. Pretty long walk. She already enter the woods, no use of turning bavk. She just hopes nothing pops out and scares her or do anything bad to her.

In the far end of a deep and terrifying forest lived a young man, he lived in a small tree house type place, though he enjoyed living there and wandering endlessly through the forests, no matter how dangerous it was made out to be. He was small, thin and blonde haired. He was rather handsome, at least that's one word to describe him. He had been abandoned in these forests for years, un attended by his parents. He didn't know what happened to them, though he didn't care nor want a relationship with them.


His name was Jasper, he was a rather reckless soul, not letting anything stop him especially fear. Most people around the village feared this one forest, except him and the other band of supernatural begins that also surrounded these woods. He wasn't the only one luckily, though he didn't have contact with the others. There were many supernatural beings lurking in these woods, and the supernatural world had been confidential until most animals were killed and the population was beginning to lower after a few years of the feared land and such. So in such, vampires began to loose did thirst for animal blood and wolves were transforming before people's very eyes, meaning it was barely confidential and rumours were out.


Jasper wasn't a human but of course, why would a human boy be wondering through these woods? He had the ability, since he was young to transform into a beautiful wolf, though the transformation was only at night, meaning yes he was indeed a werewolf. When he was young he would transform into a small and golden cub, the more older he got the larger he got. He had an amazing skill at running and also hunting, though mostly animals. He could hold his hunger more impressively an others.


Jasper had been sitting up high in the tress for most of the day, it was incredibly beautiful and peaceful and not many beings were out. It was only when he caught sense of a human entering the abandoned and forbidden woods when his senses went wild and he began to follow the smell, though not deciding to snack on the reckless human like some.

Saya cling tightly to her scarf feeling a weird vide coming from the forest. It had never felt like this during night, but maybe it because its past midnight? She continue to walk along the path and hoped to see her house appear in the far distance. Her home was her only comfort and protection. Just behind was a beautiful river. She would bath in from timw to time whenever water refuse to turn on in her house. When she had found it, she was only a mere child. Sad, confuse, and definitely lost. It was after day of the city kids bullying her. She ran away jnto the woods teying to escape from their teasing and mocking. So she stumble upon thw house and fell in love with it, even if it was abandon at time. It was surrounded by a nice serenity that she could refuse to keep it.


A rustle noise appeared from a near by bush. Immediately, Saya body tensed up stopping in her track. She a little terrify, but tried her hardest not to show. Small chills wemt up her spine as she continue to walk again.

Jasper had been following her. He knew how hungry the supernaturals got when a human was about, he'd have to protect her or else the secret would be out fast, if was getting late and half the forest would be awake in an instant. He started swinging from the branches of tress as she walked and then finally flew down, gently landing in front of her, he watched the moon uneasily as it began to come up.


"Hey, what are you doing out so late?" He asks finally, pulling up his hood to prevent his wolf ears from being in display to her.

Saya notice her home from the far distance and almpst jump in glee. She quicken her pace faster not wanting to stay in the woods any longer. She felt unease suddenly like somone was watching her. She tried to brush the feeling off. She slightly yelp, startle, by hooded man appearance. She stumble back a bit and tripped over a tree branch, falling backwards. She landed on her behind and softly hissed in pain.


She looked up to man in fear. Her eyes widen noticing ears that a human couldn't possess. She wanted to cower up in a little ball, but she couldn't do that. She needed to get home. She hesitated a little before answering the man question. Her eyes looked past behind him seeing her home was still in sight. She pointed towards as answering going home. She muted and only spoke through face expression and written words.

"Well...these woods are very dangerous at night so if you don't mind I will walk you that short distance" he could already hear the howls of wolves coming nearby and he quickly scooped her up in his arms and began to run towards her house, he could feel some wolves becoming present and then slipped her out of his arms when they got there, he could feel hair growing on his arms and his tiny claws beginning to grows and he quickly slipped his hand behind his back.

Saya was a bit surprise by the weird man actions. Before she could even react to him picking her up, they were already heading towards her home. At fast speed, too. It was unbelievable to her and thought it was just a dream. The short run came to end and Saya slightly bow to him as saying thank you and quickly turn around pulling out her keys. She fumble around with them before opening the door and quickly got inside locking all of the locks. She leaned against the door for a while. Her head dangling down. She was thinking back to the man ears and compared them to the rumors. She shook her head took off her coat and scarf hanging them on the racket besides the door. After that, she headed towards her bedroom to fall asleep.

Casper stayed huddled on the roof for most of the night, making it seem like he was claiming to snack on her, the little trick kept them other beings at bay for a while.., at least for now it would keep her and the secret safe and protected, he lies down in the roof an sat ares at the moon, he found himself falling asleep and when he opens his eyes once more he was staring at a bright blue sky. Morning had dawned.

Saya was already awake since the sunset had raised. She promise herself to do the chorse she couldn't do yesterday. Though you can see the tiredness in her eyes even though she felt well rested, a little. She was just relief to have a day off from work. She walked outside to the back of the house where a small yard was placed. It decorated beautiful and well taken care of. Small flowers roamed around the yard, big tree just besides the flowers, and a wide section of land was used to planted crops. She carried a basket full of laundry and happily walked over to the long line where she leave the clothes to dry. She hummed a little song as the sun shine brightly around the woods.

Casper climbed slowly down from the roof and began to walk away from the house, he had saved her for now though he would have to keep a close eye on her, he didn't understand why she would live in the woods with terrifying rumours though he just shrugged. Reckless humans. He began to climb a tree and watched her from a distance, he would stay sitting up there until he knew she was safe from any harm.

Saya sigh lightly while wiping a sweat off her forehead. She was finally done with the lanudary and felt a bit worn out. She walked back inside her small little home deciding to take a break and rest a little. She enter in the living and collapsed onto the couch with a small smile on her face. Her thoughts trace back to the man last night and remember how he gotten her home so quick. She wanted to thank him and quickly rose to her feet, grabbed her notebook and pen, and rushed towards the door. She walked out of the house without her coat since she was only wearing a sweater, jeans, and boots. She walked around the woods searching for the mysterious man.
