Blush and Bluster

Good evening everyone! I cannot express properly how excited I am to be here but I will try to convey my feelings...
As a child I was a bookworm. And when I say bookworm I mean "Up all night reading by nightlight after mom's told me to sleep for the fiftieth time; reading my own books under the desk in class cause I'd finished the class book and they were reading sooooo slow; and the librarians upping the limit of books I could check out in a day " type bookworm. I loved stories, reveling in the adventures and lives of fictional characters and worlds, performing feats that made my heart flutter and breath catch time and again. I lived for stories, and nothing was more fun than roleplaying out a fun idea, letting the story grow beyond what you yourself could bring to it and having it become something completely new with another persons insight and input. I lived for it.
But life gets in the way and while I still read there's never enough time in a day and so this dear hobby of mine had to go by the wayside for a while until I was established. Such are the growing pains of adulthood! But now I am established enough that I wish to reaffirm my love for a hobby I once held so dear. I fear my skills are a bit rusty but I hope that can be forgiven and we all can have a wonderful time exploring the joys of creativity! And so i wish you all a fond hello and hope you regard me kindly!
