Hey dudes! I'm Xy, and I post way too many threads. Like, way too many. One day I'll be more organized, but for now, let's just talk about what I'm looking for!
Now, as many here on RpN do, I LOVE a good romance. However, I've found that easy romance is quite possibly the most boring thing to me. This is where my love for slow-burn comes from. In RP language, a slow-burn RP is essentially one where the characters hate each other at first.
Enemies > Acquaintances > Friends > Lovers
What this does, is give the plot way more room for character development and angst. I love angst, which is why I love slow-burn. Slow-burn stories often make for the most EPIC romances. The tension is remarkable.
Okay! So I've made it clear what I'm looking for. Now I'm gonna lay some settings, pairings, and interests down. But first, some expectations!

Okay! So I've made it clear what I'm looking for. Now I'm gonna lay some settings, pairings, and interests down. But first, some expectations!
- I will write two paragraphs at the bare minimum. I love detail, and usually write multiple paragraphs at a time. I don't want to take time writing a whole bunch for someone that will only give me a few sentences! c:
- I love to double. We don't have to double in the same exact setting. We can tell two completely different stories at once, if you're adventurous enough to try! (It's not necessary of course.)
- I don't have a gender preference for my characters. However, if I receive thirty thousand PM's insisting that I play a male, I'm more likely to push that we double.
- I prefer mxf pairings and doubling as I already said. (I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST LGBTQ, IT'S JUST A ROLEPLAY PREFERENCE)
- I will RP in PM's, Thread, Email, or DIscord. If you'd like my Discord just ask for it!
- I will NOT rp anything on RpN that goes against it's content. Overly mature themes will fade to black or be written out via somewhere else.
- SHARE YOUR IDEAS WITH ME! Don't make me do all the work, let's get this flowing together!
- I love OOC chat. It's so much more fun to RP with a friend. Don't ever be afraid to communicate with me, and don't be creeped out if I occasionally ask you how you're doing!

- Handcuffed: When two very different people anger the wrong witch, they're magically handcuffed until they can both repay their debt to her. Much easier said than done when their debt is a month's journey away, and they can hardly look at each other without fighting over something.
- Royal Pains: Two kingdoms with completely different cultures finally settle their differences and come up with a peace treaty. Quality of life seems to be looking up for everyone in the kingdoms, save for the royal children. Raised to hate each other, can they be the spouses and future rulers that their parents want them to be?
- Prisoners: Two prisoners from the royal dungeons are chosen for a shot at freedom for their proven skills. The task is simple; assassinate the opposing king. Their travel is paid for, alongside everything else. Unfortunately for them, fondness for each other can't be bought, and their rivalry could stand in the way of their freedom.
