If you're into longterm plots and BxB then hopefully this is for you?
Our characters go to the same college and wind up in the same woodshop class. Now, my character (Zacharia Opal) already knows yours, for they were best friends during their early childhood (around the ages of 9-13) before they broke apart in high school. Zacharia easily stayed on the "goodie two shoes" track, while yours drifted slowly into the wrong crowd, and consequently found a new way of life that had pushed their old friend out their mind completely. Four and a half years later it seems like they are forced back into each other's lives when a teacher assigns them together on a project. When Zacharia lays eyes on his old friend, he realizes that maybe his feelings towards him were stronger than he thought, but he wouldn't admit that even if his life depended on it. On the other hand, you character barely even remembers Zach, yet his feelings towards the boy slowly become more apparent as they got to know each other again. Maybe eventually though they do something about it, but until then it's doubt, doubt, and ten times more doubt.
