Slippery Scales of Decipet

"Yeah, I can feel every movement you make in my tail." Emma said, the scratching relaxing her a bit "I'm not sure why you'd think I wouldn't. There's not really much use in having a tail you can't feel after all, is there?"
 
He nodded, blushing a little bit and scratching even faster. He sat up and laid his back against her waist, still scratching and rubbing her scales.
 
Emma's tail uncoiled from him partially to give him room to sit up. She was somewhat conscious of the fact that this could be a ploy by Aaron to run away, but at the moment she didn't care. If he bolted, she could catch him before he made it out of the cave, due to the length of her tail.
 
Eventually, his arms began to hurt. He smiled and looked at her, not sure what to say to her now that he realized he'd been basically petting his captor. He looked into her eyes, "What do you want to do?"
 
"We should probably leave to go get that furniture you were talking about before." Emma said, unwrapping Aaron the rest of the way and getting up "Hopefully it won't take all day and we can work on your training some more, but there are still 13 days left until your test."
 
He nodded and stood up, rubbing his eyes. As he was told to do, he looked up at the rising sun, "We should be back by sundown if we hurry."
 
Emma nodded back "Let's get to hurrying, then." She said, getting her moss-dress together again, and heading out of the cave with him. Again, she let him lead them to their destination.
 
He nodded and soon they were off. After hours of wlaking, they soon approached a large village. He smiled and then frowned, "alright... we're here..."
 
"Alright. Where can we get the furniture?" Emma asked, looking around. Human towns were certainly... Different from what she was used to. She was really unfamiliar with the look and the layout of the town, and even the people were odd to her. Perhaps it was because she was the only Lamia, and she was in disguise on top of that.
 
"The largest of the buildings. I'd suggest you make sure you use the coins. I-I hope you get what you need." He handed the poucnh to her.
 
Emma nodded, and headed into the building he pointed out, making sure he was still following her. Using the coins in the pouch to buy a few pieces of furniture she thought looked nice, she wondered how she and Aaron were going to get this stuff back to her cave.
 
Aaron bought them a cart and nodded, putting them int othe cart and then looking at her, "Are you ready?" He looked into the actual cart and saw she'd bought a few iron chains (He prayed they were for rigging some sort of door) and then took the cart.
 
Emma nodded, and they left the building, heading back to her cave. She wondered what it would look like with this stuff in it. She'd never pictured her cave with furniture before - It'd always just been the same boring old place she came back to every day of her life. A bit of personalization definitely couldn't hurt.
 
As they got home, the sun had just begun to descend. He smiled to her and then unloaded it, yawning ever so gently as he'd just hiked over 7 miles. He looked around, "Should I let you handle this?"
 
Emma looked at the load they'd just carried all the way here "Hmm... How about we just set up the bed so we can try it out tonight, then get everything else set up in the morning?" She suggested, taking the bed from the cart.
 
He nodded nad set up the bed. They'd bought some basic blankets and a matrass, but that was all they could do. He helped it get set up.
 
Once the bed was done, Emma climbed into it "Ooh... Do you always sleep in this?" She asked, as she laid down on the mattress. It may not have been the best quality, but it was certainly a lot more comfortable than the stone floor, even while sleeping on her tail.
 
He nodded and laid down with her. He chuckled and looked into her eyes, "well, ifs pretty nice to sleep on these. It definitely helps your back."
 
"I'm sure." Emma replied, wrapping her tail around Aaron again before stretching "Man, it seems like we didn't do anything but walk today."
 
Aaron nodded, "That's exactgly what we did today, to be completely honest." He hugged her tail again and scratched it agian, giggling.
 
Emma giggled as well "Perhaps we should make up for it tomorrow. It'll be 12 days until your test, at that point." She said, as he started hugging and scratching her tail "You're fascinated with this, aren't you?" She teased him, flicking the end of her tail around in front of his face.
 
He gasped and looked at her, "I-I do... I don't know why, it's just so... So unique." He scratched on it a bit faster, "it's like q big living blanket."
 
Emma couldn't help but laugh a little bit "I see. I've never heard someone describe my tail like that before." She said, completely serious. Nobody up to this point liked the idea of being wrapped up by a Lamia in the first place. The most she could get out of someone was that her tail was 'Rough and disgusting'.
 
"Maybe I should wrap you up in it more often than I had planned, if you like it so much." Emma commented, tapping his nose with the end of her tail.
