Welcome to Acker College
Children of professors are often... odd. Their parents don't often move jobs (well, once they get tenure), and the center of their life is often the college their parent works at. They can remember running down the halls of different buildings, exploring campus, and coloring in their parent's office as a child. Many of them eventually want to follow the path that their parent took. All of that is good and well, but that's not the interesting part of being a professor's kid.
The interesting part is that there are others like you on the same campus- other kids that understand what it's like to be the child of a professor. These people wouldn't be friends normally- they couldn't be more different. But they became friends, the college their catalyst. And as they grow older, and have to consider what college they'll be applying to themselves, the group is slowly starting to splinter. As they go their own ways, will this group of friends survive? Or will their friendship just become a cherished memory?
Shower Power?
4 high schoolers have been best friends for as long as they can remember- going to the same school, getting into trouble together, everything. The weather forecast calls for a wicked thunderstorm, and what's the only acceptable thing to do in a storm? Dance in it, of course!
But this storm was not an ordinary storm, and a week afterwards each friend finds themselves with a specific power relating to the elements. Follow the lives of these friends (and possibly their other friends) as they realize just what they're truly capable of.
Welcome to the Lab School
A group of undergraduates studying to be teachers find their capstone experience the hardest. 4 years of college led up to this point, and now they're here- the Lab School. As the name would imply, it's like a lab for teachers- where they can put their knowledge to the test.
The school is for students from the community- a community with a economic problems and a drug habit. Will these teachers be able to push through and help these students, or will they fail their final course?
Welcome to Einstein High School
Named after a genius, Einstein High School is a selective school for prodigies in any subject. When a group of kids find themselves all assigned Saturday detention, they meet people they have never heard of before. After all, why would the science prodigy ever meet the music prodigy?
Detention is 4 hours long. In that time will they be able to become friends? Or will they never get to really meet anyone different?
Welcome to ACEMS
There exists a team that is part of Acker College- a group of students by day, and wannabe heroes by night. Small and family-like, the EMS at Acker is responsible for calls students make- allergic reactions, alcohol poisoning, broken limbs, etc.
But their calls aren't the most interesting part of ACEMS- it's the moments in between calls that matter. Life, love, studying, anxiety, coping, etc. all happens in the time between calls.
