Fantasy Slayers: Modern Maniacs

"Hmm good idea. lets go." Takao looks down to his hand a realized his ring was still on, He took it off and his clothes went back to the way they were before. A white tshirt and his black jacket with black skinny jeans.

Terra followed and took off her ring, returning to her usual pastel colored clothing. She headed to the passenger seat of the car, seating herself. "You're driving, I guess."

"Sure." Luke took a stance in order to spar, not planning to lose against her. He was already tired from the workout, and his muscles showed, his whole body practically pulsing with each beat.

Jane could sense he was tired just by looking at him. "You can rest if you want, first." She said, still in a sparring stance.

Luke twirled the staff around his body, speaking as he did, "I've got enough strength to beat you." He gave a smirk.

She smirked back. "I dunno, I still feel pretty good after slaughtering all those undead." She let out a small laugh. "But alright...bring it on, jock." She said, twirling her staff. "I'll let you throw the first punch...or, should I say....staff-hit....you go first." She said and smiled.

Takao sits down in the driver seat ans turns the car on with his ring. The engine revs up and sounds smooth and powerful. "Oh man this is a nice car. Ready to go dear?"

"Yea, I'm ready," she answered confidently, looking out the window. "Are you ready?" she teased, not turning to face him.

He giggles softly to her comment. "As long as i'm with you i'm ready." He pulls out of the garage and starts driving toward the beach.

Jane readies herself for the sparring session with Luke, her staff pointed at him from her arms. Jane was ready to strike when he came at her, she had a huge smirk on her face.

Luke begins with a small arch, the tip aimed at her forearm behind the staff, it wouldn't break anything, but it would sting. He was actually smiling now, for this was something besides slaying to do with her.

"Let's dance." She said, challenging him, fully ready to take him on. She twirled the staff and brought it down, hitting his staff with a good amount of force.

His staff was bounced back and he became aware that she was serious, his arms tensing from the waves of repercussion going through them. "If you say so beautiful." It slipped out as he slightly regained confidence, this time he gave his staff a full swing from behind, spinning with it. Aimed at her ribs, hoping her reflexes were fast enough.

For the whole entire ride, Terra looked out the window, pleased that Takao wasn't going too quick. She was actually enjoying the quiet ride. The girl turned over to look at Takao, a small smile on her lips.

She avoided his staff, backing away quickly. "Nice one." She commented. "Now we're on the same page." She twirled her staff and swung over his head, barely missing him. She planted one end of her staff on the ground and used the force to kick off of the ground and throw a kick into Luke's chest. The kick wouldn't hurt him, she wasn't using enough force to do so. But if she wanted to hurt him...she could.

He brought his staff back to both of his hands, hold it laterally. With this he lifted his knee under her leg and brought down the staff, stopping her dead in her tracks. Her momentum stopped he lowered her to the ground softly, but still hard enough to cause a thud. "Please be a bit more innovative to face me." He gave a smile, really enjoying this.

"See? Now this is how we can have a nice talk." Jane said. It was weird how she was so unlike other girls...seriously, it takes a battle to just talk to her? Freaky. She smiled back at him and got on her feet, setting her staff aside. "Alright...you're good with a staff...but how are you with your fists and feet?" She asked, challenging him to hand-to-hand sparring.

"So all it takes is for me to kick your butt? Well I can do that." He then released her, throwing his staff away as she challenged. "Well I would like to say my few fist fights have prepared me to face a freshman girl.". He readied his hands, giving the motion to fight.

"You're forgetting I'm no ordinary freshman girl." She smirked. "I'll try to go easy on you." She said, also readying herself to fight.
Jane prepped herself and began sparring with Luke. She kicked his stomach with one foot, quickly placing her foot back on the ground, her fist threw an uppercut punch to his face, barely missing.

He recoiled from the stomach kicked and grabbed her uppercut, throwing her sideways towards a wall. She was light enough to toss around all day.

Jane landed on her feet, doing a flip as she reached the floor. She regained a fighting stance again. She hopped up in the air and rolled over a table and kicked Luke again, sending him into another table.

Luke hit the table, but didn't falter, only shattering it. He picked up the biggest piece and flung it with massive force towards Jane, running after it to follow up with a hit.

She dodged the massive force coming at her and proceeded towards Luke. Jane lunged at him and tackled him to the floor, rolling off of him and standing a few feet away, out of his range. She front flipped and landed her foot into his chest, letting out a grin.

Takao parked a block away from the beach and shut the car off. The sun was starting ti set and it was still a bit warm outside. The sky was a bright orange color and tiny patches of clouds were above. The waves were nice and calm. He stepped out if the car and opened the door for Terra. "M'lady." He smiled brightly and blush washed across his face.

Luke was almost recovering when her foot landed on his chest, and he knew as a fair sport it was over. "Not to bad, your leader is impressed.". He reached up for a lift upwards, hoping he wouldn't have to exert himself to get up.
