Jane got out right after Luke and Terra and unsheathed her swords, swirling them around. She stood by Luke and eyed the woods, waiting for the others to get out. Jane's eyes looked different...full of anger and desperation. She wanted her mom back...but if the troll was plannig a trick...she was mad as hell.

Luke looked at Jane, seeing her steaming with anger. "You need to relax, we are going to get her.". Letting someone rush in full of emotions was an idiotic move, "Just breathe a little.".

Jane looked like she was about to murder someone, and Terra couldn't help but put a hand on her arm. "It's going to be alright..." she paused before muttering, "I hope."


Terra took out two of her knifes, hoping that she wouldn't have to use them.

"Ya, you can tea-bag the thing all you want one your dead." Conner said as he eyed the woods. He probably just made things awkward, or some people wouldn't understand. But at the moment, he didn't care about that. All he cared about was if his shotgun was loaded.

Jane ignored the kindness of the others, not intending to, but she was so ready to kill this troll, she gripped her swords tightly, almost ready to go in the woods alone. Her shoulders tensed up.

Luke cracked his neck, staff at the ready, "Well then lets get to it.". Seemed as though Jane wasn't going to be deterred from her rash behavior, so Luke settled with the fact of watching her back. "What's it going to be, split up? Groups of two?". He didn't like the idea of splitting up, but it seemed the best way considering he didn't know where it was.

"I can kind of feel the troll nearby...I think it's the Rings' power acting up a bit...I say, we all just charge in, weapons ready." She said. She thought of her mom. She didn't care anymore, she charged into the woods alone, her swords in her hands at her sides, ready for action.

Terra's eyes widened as Jane hurried into the woods, leaving the rest of them to react. She looked to the group, her eyes begging for some kind of organized leadership, or a plan.

"Or we an all stick together." Conner said, disliking very much the idea of splitting. "Someone that is good at fighting should lead the way, and two people go further out to the sides to watch for the thing." the months of playing call of duty and battlefield showing themselves. But that was all thrown out the window as Jane ran into the woods. Deciding that some backup would be better than none, he runs in after her, shotgun held at an angle across his chest.

Luke ran after her, not wasting the time to let the sigh out. He caught up quickly and allowed the staff to trail behind him as they almost sprinted to the animal. "Hope you know where you're going.". He called to the two, "No time for plans Conner, let's go!".

Terra hurried after them, quickly taking the lead. She could see Jane sprinting ahead of them and followed quickly, her knifes tucked in her sleeves. The girl felt the Ring vibrate, telling her that they were near the beast.

The troll was in Jane's sight. She dashed past the trees and hid behind a bush. She was right....her mom being a prisoner was a lure. Her mom is in no danger...her young mind was easier to manipulate and play tricks on...the troll tricked her. Jane was angry. "My mom's not here...she's safe...so it was a trick. I was tricked by a troll? I'm gonna send this bastard back to the bridge he crawled out of!" She said to herself, leaping from the bush and into the troll's sight. It let out a strange sound and charged after her, she dodged.

 

[Hibiscus]

Luke slid down into a bush, taking off his bag and grabbing a few javelins. "Jane stop acting reckless!". He saw her run and out and immediately followed, only to be knocked back by the troll's arm.

"Bite me!" she called as the troll swiped his arm, nearly smacking Jane. She sliced the troll's back with her blades and it cried in pain.

Terra saw Luke being knocked down by the troll's arm, and immediately threw one of her knifes. It hit the troll's foot, making it stumble and fall. Jane needs to kill it now. she thought, rushing over to the male and checking for signs of injury. "Uh, Luke, you okay?"

 

[Soviet Panda]

Conner saw the troll, aimed, and fired. The recoil nearly knocked him over, but he stayed on his feet. He fired again, this time ready for the recoil. And he kept firing until he heard a click. Knowing that he was out of rounds, thank god for video games, he fumbles for the shells needed to reload.

The troll was being shot and stabbed, but to no effect. It shrugged off Conner's shots and pulled out Terra's knife from his arm. Jane leaped again and kicked it in the face. Thank god for Mr. Grey 'downloading' all this combat date into her head. She kicked it again and sliced it's back again. The creature was far from dead though. She looked over to Luke to see if he was okay, she grinned when he looked alright. But as soon as she turned, the troll swiped her across the face and flung her across the area, knocking her into a tree. She was knocked out.

 

[Hibiscus]

Luke got up, exhilarated and smiling, "I'm fine Terra," He ran out to Jane, putting himself in front of the troll, "Lets go big boy.". This remark was followed by a volley of javelins, all aimed into the beast's stomach.

Terra pulled out another knife and left the okay Luke, taking note of Jane's state. She planted herself in front of the fallen warrior and took out more knifes, aiming for it's eyes. The first one landed, but the second only penetrated it's cheek. The troll bellowed and charged at her, full of murderous rage.

Luke's javelins hit the beast in the stomach, making it stop charging and fall, injured. Jane start mumbling in her unconscious state.

 

[Hibiscus]

Luke unsheathed his sword, and approached the beast that was on the ground. "Terra stay back, this thing was stronger then we thought.". He walked over slowly, waiting for the beast to move.

 

[Soviet Panda]

Seeing an opening, Conner runs up to the downed beast, places his shotgun beside it's head, and pulls the trigger. Not really waiting to see if it was dead or not, he backs up and once more prepares to fire at it.

 

[Hibiscus]

Luke stopped once Conner had took the initiative, he turned around, looking at Jane. He ran back, kneeling down next to her, "Hey now, time to wake up, what's done is done.". He lightly slapped her face, but then let it rest there, awaiting for her.

The troll got up, not dead but weak. Jane stood up, awakened finally. She looked over Luke's shoulder and saw the troll's eyes opening, even with the shot it just took. she pushed Luke out of her way and grabbed one of her swords. She ran to the troll. "Say goodnight," she said and stabbed the beast through the head, killing it finally. She then turned to Luke and the others and smiled softly. "It's dead...we just killed a freaking monster." She half-chanted before collapsing, still weak for her impact with the tree earlier.
