Soul nodded and stood up,pushing the chair in,"The assignments will be due in a couple of minutes,you're came out great",he glanced at David,"I know someone who would be especially impressed too",he smiled before leaving to his seat
 
( Wow u guys rped at 5 in the morning! I was asleep by then... :// )


I shrugged. "I don't know anything. Nothing. Before this I was bought up by my normal father in a normal school..."


"Wow, that is amazing! Aww a panda..!" I was about to poke it when I withdrew my hand and said to Jessica,"Wait, I can't touch it can I? Or it'll go sploooosh everywhere.." I giggled. "Hey jessica. Since I control all the elements, could I try to contact a spirit and do what you did?"
 
Jessica thought for a moment and smiled and nodded


"Yeah i guess you could. But make sure its a nice spirit.....some times you can get one of those icky mean ones and then we're all in troble." Jessica giggled and looked at her panda.


David sighed and continued to try and spell out Jessica's name.
 
Soul finished his instrument creations while the teacher called time.Soul smiled and the teacher called him up first.He arranged his instruments in order before he bowed to the class,turned to the instruments and began conducting the instrumental for 'My Heart Will Go On'.The rhythm and the tune was perfect,the class either stared in awe or happily enjoying the music
 
After finishing the final notes,he ended the song and the class cheered and applauded.Soul smiled and bowed to the class before returning to his seat,the instruments following him


"Great job,mate",a fire elemental boy said


"Magnificent job,Soul",a wind elemental girl said blushing heavily
 
I was just about to try and call a spirit when the time was up. I sighed, feeling like a failure. Oh well, I would really try next time. I looked up and sighed again when Soul went up and conducted his orchestra of water instruments. It was beautiful, and I hummed along, though quietly so no one else realised. I glanced around at the girls swooning and blushing with admiration. It was the same situation I used to be in. The boys wanted me because of my looks. I stared at Soul: if you added freckles and glasses would everyone swoon over him? They would just call him a geek for what he did right now. They after his looks and reputation. I was sure no one knew what he liked and his hobbies.


I sighed. I would love to know anyone over here. Their hobbies, likes, dislikes, history. Especially Soul's.


I quickly sneaked a glance at my timetable- it was spirits next. And then such an idea swept across my mind I couldn't wait to go to the next period.


Could I contact my mother??
 
I bit my lip nervously. The teacher was calling everyone up and I had nothing. I didn't want to look like an idiot on the first lesson. I had to make a good impression.


I put my hands under the table and thought of water, outstretching my palms. I closed my eyes and thought of water turning into a orb. I tried really hard, but I didn't get anything at all. I tried again. Nothing. Instead I tried to call on a spirit. I thought of someone who had died of water...


Maria. She'd been my friend in my Primary school. One day she'd been early into the canteen and took a glass of water. The water was poisoned. She'd gone to hospital, but the doctors couldn't fix her. She died.


I scrunched my eyes in concentration and whispered under my breath, "Maria... Maria are you there?"


I tried not to yelp when I heard her in my head, as clear as a bell.


"I'm here... what do you need me to do? Who are you?"


"It's me.. Crystal. I need you to turn into a figurine. Anything really. You know like one of those porcelain figurines.."


I heard silence for a few seconds and I thought I'd lost her.. but then something wet was in my hands...


I looked under the table to see a beautifully shaped figurine. She had a crown and clothes with such intricate detail I couldn't believe it. I gasped. I was so proud of myself. A wave of happiness swept over me. I couldn't wait for the teacher to call on me. I'd used my elemental powers for the first time.


I cautiously lifted the figurine from under the table and slowly put it on the table. I looked around, but nobody had realized- they were too intent on looking at David going up at the front.
 
David sighed and brought up his letters. He steped to the side as the spelled out Jessica's name. He blushed lightly. Jessica blushed a bright red as she watched the letters spell her name.
 
I smiled fondly at David, and even more fondly at Jessica as she blushed. They were a perfect couple. David was head over heels for Jessica, but Jessica was just plain irritated with David. I sighed. God please let them become a couple. It's perfect.
 
Soul chuckled and clapped,some of the students began giggling or chuckling,others just cooing


the teacher smirked,"Very good",she said,"Jessica,Crystal,your turn"
 
I timidly got up, pushing the chair behind me, and picking up my water figurine. The eyes of everyone else bore into me. I walked to the front, waiting for Jessica to come up.
 
Jessica, still blushing, stood bringing up her water panda. David passed by her and sat down staring at her. Jessica felt eyes all over her. She sighed and put on a smile seting the panda on the teacher's desk and cooling her cheaks with her perkyness.
 
The teacher smiled,"How cute!A huge improvement from what you have been usually turning in,keep it up!"


Soul gave Jessica a small wave,to get her attention,and then two thumbs up,'Good job',he mouthed,smiling brightly
 
Jessica smiled and blushed lightly tumbsing up Soul back. She took her panda back to her seat.
 
Soul got from his seat and sat next to Jessica,quietly,"Good job with the panda",he whispered to her smiling,"what did Crystal make?",he asked her in a hushed tone
 
Soul nodded,"She did well,I'm sure",he chuckled and side ways glanced at Jessica,"Will you be accompanying her to after school's water element tutoring?",a smile,"Its kind of strange just seeing you hiding at the door frame,watching everyone learn."
 
Soul let out a chuckle and shook his head before leaning over to her ear and whispered,"Someone is watching you",he chuckled,"He's probably thinking of murdering me right now",he leaned away and smiled
