Jessica looked up at Soul and blushed lightly, smiling weakly


"Yeah....David was just up to his stuff again..." She sighed and played with the hem of her shirt.
 
Soul nodded and smiled,"Like my father said,there is someone out there for everyone,you may not have met them yet or you may not know it yet,but you'll be drawn to them and you just click".Tai smirked,"Your mother told him that first you know...".Soul chuckled,"I know...my mother told me to just say that father told me"
 
Soul frowned and side hugged Jessica,"Listen",he began,smiling at her,"It's not your fault and it's not his fault,sometimes crushes or love happens by accident or when you last expected.Sometimes,you have to look deeper into some people than others.Take Jung Hwa and Ai Min for example,after being together for five,going on six years,they still learn more about each other with each passing day",he explained
 
Soul smiled brightly at her,"Feel any better then,Jessica?",he questioned as he squeezed her shoulder gently and kissed her head before releasing her and talking to Tai and Jung Hwa.Ai Min was giggling at Jessica
 
Jessica blushed and covered her mouth to keep from squeeling. She looked over at Ai Min.
 
Ai Min smiled brightly and gave her a secret thumbs out.Jung Hwa was holding Ai Min,lovingly,he turned her face,so she was looking at him before kissing her passionately."If that's what she meant by falling in love every time you see your significant other then Jung Hwa must enjoy that feeling",Tai said to Soul who chuckled."I found it romantic",Soul said shrugging,"In my opinion,if a guy dates a girl,she should be his center of attention,but he should also trust her and let her be with her friends and her family and not be obsessive".Tai nodded in agreement,"I remember that girl who you liked in middle school,you helped her,treated her right,gave her gifts and flowers on any day for no reason and then you two dated but you broke up with her because you were transferring here".Soul nodded with a smile,"I hope to fall in true love one day,meet the one for me,get married,start a family,and just be with her through thick and thin".Tai nodded,"Anyone in mind?".Soul seemed to think about it
 
Jessica continued to blush looking at her lap. This conversation was either going to A: Boost her selfconfidence and maybe get her a boyfriend or B: Lower her selfconfidence and send her into a spiraling depression.
 
Soul smiled and put a finger to his lips,"Secret",he said mysteriously as Tai smirked."You're a complete and utter-",Tai didn't get to finish because Jung Hwa cut him off."No cursing around my baby",Jung Hwa stated as he and Ai Min cuddled together,hands laced together.The teacher finally began teaching and everyone paid attention,taking notes and listening carefully
 
Jessica giggled. Or there was C: Keep Jessica on edge and not tell her so she's always thinking about it.
 
As the teacher explained the lesson,students asked questions back and forth or some fell asleep,Tai being one of them,since he apparently,studied this during the summer.Soul's hand was resting on the table as his other hand was under his chin,holding his head up,as he paid attention to the teacher
 
sighed, and nodded at Aoibheann. "Yeah, I guess. Wait though." I brought my laptop to Aoibheann and took the cd tentatively out of my pocket, keeping a eye on Lata. "I found this in one of the books." I placed the cd in my laptop and turned the laptop on.


Jed shrugged vaguely and mouthed 'sorry' at the senior. He then sighed, gathered his things and continued to the library. He walked in reluctantly, and realized that there was a new librarian. He looked familiar.. Didn't he attend the school last year?
 
It's not really Tuesday yet.. No lessons.. It's still monday, after school, so like dorm time. The timetable's in my signature

Aoibheann took the laptop from Crystal even though her eyes were still on her oldest friend. "I'm thinking more along the trees and plants to help her sheild. You know, ground and center? Most people seem to find it easier to ground if they can use something real, like a tree until they realize that grounding doesn't have to be something physical or even real" She addressed her attention to the disk. "Now let's see what this has for us." Without warning she put her own shields up and over Cyrstal. The girl had none so it was more than easy. Lata had her own shields but she wanted the girl to be prepared. "All right, load it up."
 
I nodded and clicked on 'start' then 'my computer'. I double clicked on the cd, and a black screen popped up, but it wasn't broken or anything. I stared at it. Suddenly a video came and an old man with a beard was frozen. The video was paused right at the start. He looked old, but not in a old, old, way but a wise way. "Should I play it?" I asked Aoibheann, having no idea what was about to come.


Jed shrugged to himself, and placed his homework on a nearby table. He sat down, and continued his homework, in the deserted library.
 
Alistair was sipping coffee as he catalogued yet another pile of books from the locked reading rooms in his office.


"Laboratory Processes for the Fire Weaver, catalogue number FW2209", he read off the information page pasted on the inside cover page then checked off against the master catalogue that had been locked in the lowest desk drawer in the Librarian's office. He paused as he heard the main doors close and listened to the sound of solitary footsteps crossing over to one of the tables. Good, someone else who appreciates the provision of a well-stocked library. Or at least it will be once I get these books back on their proper shelves. He placed the book back on the trolley rack and rose to his feet, pushing the trolley back out into the library. He glanced around and saw a young man seated at a table alone, surrounded by his own workbooks.


"Good afternoon. If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be in the office over there.", he said quietly, pointing back the direction he'd just come from. He then started returning books to their rightful places on the shelves.
 
Jed nodded, smiling at the librarian, and continued his work, his gaze following the librarian, till the office, then returning his gaze to his book on arithmetic.
 
Jessica glanced at Soul every once in a while, trying to keep her composure.
 
Soul yawned and placed his head on the table,"I'm tired",he pouted cutely as Ai Min giggled."Awww,okay Soul,you can sleep on my shoulder",Jung Hwa cooed,jokingly.Soul laughed while Tai smirked.Tai then looked at Jessica and whispered to her quietly,"Glancing at him once every minute,isn't helping you",he stated smirking,"You look like you'll pounce him if he even looks or says something to you"
 
Jessica blushed bright red and covered her mouth


"Is it that obvious?" She wispered back.
 
Jessica turned to look at David who was glaring daggers at Soul. He stood quickly and stormed out. Jessica's heart sank. She sighed and stood


"I have to go. I'll see you guys later...." She said before rushing out of the room and back toward her dorm room.
