Personality:
Kota has a lot of what it takes to become a Knight. He's highly skilled with a sword. He's usually has a cool head and he can stay collected in most tense situations. He can seems serious at times, but he has a more relaxed side to him. Though maybe it shines a little too bright. As said before Kota is skilled with a sword, it can be argued that he's one of the best out of all of the enrolled students at the Academy, but most of the time he just half-asses everything. Small monsters usually appear at night in Skyloft and they can be defeated with a quick slash with a sword... so there's really no point to put 100% effort into it.

Though this means Kota can be lazy at times, another part about him is his fear of the unknown. Whatever lies beneath the cloud frightens him, and whatever could lurk down there. As much as he seems to hate it, he likes his simple and safe life uo in Skyloft, though he will start to break out of this while on his adventures down on the surface. Kota is also deathly afraid of heights, seems pretty weird considering he lives ubove the earth, but this heavily affects his flying skilld, which are abysmal.

History:
Kota was born on the mainland of Skyloft, he was the son of a retired Knight who made a name for himself During his time of service. His mother was just another average citizen of Skyloft, but Kota was heavily influenced by his dad. He saw him as a great hero, a role model and while he lived up to his son's vision the man was actually quite reckless. One day the "brave" Knight decided that he would be the first person to breath the clouds and see what lies below them, he tried and never returned. Kota was devastated at first, but after a few years he came to turns with the death and he sees his old hero as a reckless idiot. He enrolled into the academy on a whim, because of his father the headmaster decided that it would be a good idea to let the son of his old friend into the academy.

Compared to some of the other students at the academy... Naroh is uh... kinda unqualified. He can barely swing a sword, let alone lift the thin hunk of metal. His flying is subpar at best, the only real person who he's better at flying at is Kota, and that's nor really a surprise. He's timid and easily flustered, if you're looking for a knight in shining armor to sweep you off your feet then look somewhere else, Naroh would probably trip and drop you. Apart from his goofiness and jokes Naroh believes that he'll never become a knight, he's not very good at anything and he feels like nothing stands out about his skills (apart from his unique hair and eye color). Other people reflect this as they often forget about him, or don't take him seriously. As if he was just a small child. Even though Naroh is barely passing any classes he's actually fairly intelligent and observant, though his low self esteem halters this side of him.

History:
Naroh grew up a normal life, his parent's did nothing too great. Though he did get his mother's odd hair and eye color which he was gradually picked on when he was younger, but he just learned to laugh along with everybody and become the "class clown" of the town. Originally Naroh never wanted to become a Knight, but after watching everyone his age join in, he felt forced to join as well in fear of being left out, but now he has a lot more to fear.

  Legends say the spirit that resides in the Goddess Sword is stoic and curt, but also resourceful and effective; apathetic and serious, yet practical and helpful.
  
  Those legends are wrong.
  
  Hardly one for courtesy, Ko doesn't abide by titles, rank, or any other human-made method of discrimination, which leads him to offend the more privileged sort of people. Other than that he's charismatic by nature, and cracks jokes in even the most dire of situations.
  
  Despite being on the 'good' side, Ko will lie if he believes it is for the greater good.
  
  Behind his silver tongue and frequent wisecracks, he is incredibly intelligent, using his wit and power to aid the Chosen Hero .

Personality: Keat is very (flightly ) much a free-spirit, if he feels like going somewhere he'll go, if it looks pretty and doesn't seem to belong to anyone at the moment he'll take it, the only barrier in his world is the cloud layer. The sky is quite literally the limit and he's looking to break through that too.

With other people Keat is friendly but impatient, if someone can't keep up with his chaotic lifestyle he'll simply take off and leave them behind. The best thing he finds about socialising for Keat is the chance to show off and swap stories about places already seen and new things to see.

Always curious about stories Keat became captivated by the tales of people who lived above the clouds when he saw an object fall from what he believed was above the cloud layer and finding a way to the "skylands" became the closest thing to a final goal he has.

  Ana ultimately has two settings: On and Off. When not passed out in her room or class she's running around town, messing with fellow trainees or playing with Remlits. Few can keep up with her constant energy spikes, especially since they often lead her over the edge of Skyloft and into open air. Ana loves free-falling almost as much as she loves flying, it seems.
  
  There's more to her than just energy of course! Underneath her impulsive and playful exterior is a determined Knight-in-training, just as skilled as her peers. If you knock her down she'll get back up and knock you down harder. If you upset her... Well she'll cry about it, but after defending her honor with a punch to your gut.

  History: History: Despite being born on the mainland, Ana's first memories are of toddling around the Lumpy Pumpkin after her father. Her mother was regretfully absent, having perished before little Ana's second birthday in a night-shift accident, but the family trundled on nonetheless. Her father worked as a cook and left his daughter to roam the island, though she often ran into the kitchen to taste things before shooting back out again. The pub's owner would joke that Ana had pumpkin running through her veins like he did from eating so much of it.
  
  Soon enough little Ana grew up, becoming considerably bigger and brawnier Ana. She enrolled in the Academy hoping to get on the night shift, follow in her mother's footsteps and all that. She keeps this plan from her father of course, but has a feeling he knows anyways.

A little more on the quieter side, Aero usually attempts to side on the good side of everyone. Because of this, she has gained somewhat of a multiple personality disorder where one is being almost always silent, being overly determined, and being mentally unstable.
Strengths:

• Able to make it to difficult to reach areas without any equipment
• Time spent swimming in the lake caused her to become a powerful swimmer
• A bit above average swordsmanship, good with shield

Weaknesses:

• Occasionally multiple personalities will try to appear, causing her to fight with herself
• Her right eye is not completely useless, but it does have poor vision
• Has moments where her balance, for lack of better word, doesn't work properly

None besides the sword she has to help with patrolling, continues to try to figure out a way up to beetle's airship.
History:
Aero was born and lived on the main island her entire life, but takes frequent trips to the other islands surrounding skyloft to explore. As a young child, she was too curious for her own good, and for it paid the price. One night, she escaped her house in secret to see what it was like at night. Immediately monsters started popping up so she ran, unable to get into her house. She spotted a remlit and, thinking that it was still soft kitten like thing at day, picked it up. It then squirmed around in her arms and clawed out her right eye. In pain, she flung down the remlit and fled back to her house, the monsters now gone. She went to sleep, and in the morning when she woke up, her father questioned what happened, and she just cried. Years later, she decided to join the academy since she wanted to help with patrolling at night.

History:
Camilla's family has been creating potions for generations. Happily serving the good people of Skyloft. She can always remember the days when she would sit and quietly watch her mother and father mix potions. She knew that when she grew up the shop would be hers to take care of.
Unfortunately, she would have to wait. Her crabby old grandfather has made it very clear that he has wanted a grandson who could become a knight.
Well, he got Camilla instead.

This was something she never wanted to do. But then she had a thought.
'If I become a knight, I could go to different places! New places would mean new ingredients!' And with that thought, she joined.
