So it has been a while since I have done any drawings, and even longer since I have finished one, but here is some of my work. I have a tablet but my computer died about 2 years ago so I use my ipad for pretty much everything, so I haven't been drawing as much.

But lately I have been working on some 3d altered magic the gathering tokens.

These are nifty. That third picture (of the bearded bloke) is fantastic. =]


And the 3d altered Magic card? Looks very damn cool.

Aw, Thank you! And I have to say I do love your signature and I agree deeply. I grieve for my fiancé who has to shave off his beard everyday for work. Whoever decided clean shaven looked professional obviously was jealous and couldn't grow one a beard.


I am hoping to finish up my first life counter out of a mirrodin deconstruct today. Do you play any Magic?

Thank you very much! I can't say I put a whole lot of work into that signature, but it was a labor of love, albeit a simple one.


As a bearded gentleman (obviously - haha), I too grieve for any that have to shave for work. I have more than one friend that, while allowed something like a moustache, are unable to have even sideburns where they work because it looks 'unprofessional'.


Granted, I can see where an unkempt and unruly beard could be seen as such. My current face-mane is just shy of 7 months of growth with no trimming - it looks insane some days! However, my bosses are very lax when it comes to beard-enforcement and I must consider myself blessed. =P


I have dabbled in MtG for a time, but played it much more when I was younger and had more time on my hands. Nowadays, I play when I can, but have pretty much lost all of my former skill. I've re-noobed myself!

My fiancé grows a nice beard, and sometimes he has the mustache but because he has to shave when he gets the stubble at five o’clock his face becomes a hazard –I call it the ‘mace on his face’. It is so spiky that it cuts me up, but if he was able to grow out it would soften up a bit and be a bit more safe.


That sounds pretty epic! It is good to have that comfort within the workplace. I guess the point that it gets to is they just don’t want to have to judge which beards are well kept and which are unruly.


It isn’t too bad getting back into it. The major downside is the expense, at least if you play competitively. I tend to enjoy EDH just because it is more creative. When it comes to Legacy, Modern, and some Standard, netdecks are just all you see.
