'"Pathetic." Shen Lu says after she kicks Raia -- stuffing the attack. Her leg moves back like a whip to escape the retaliation of Raia's claws. She balanced gracefully onto a single leg -- her flying guillotine was wet with the blood of the fallen. She stood oddly elegantly among a sea of five corpses -- the nameless thugs Izzy had gotten managing to only slow down the ruthless adventurer before --

A dent formed beneath her foot as she assumed a firm Kung-Fu stance. In her hand, the ominous hum of her flying guillotine could be heard all throughout the town.

A half-conscious Pamela laid in Izzy's care. All the while, Raia struggled against the ruthless assassin. Despite her fair face and soft looking features, Shen had an air of palpable bloodlust that anyone could instinctively sense. It almost made her seem like less an adventurer and more something else to the pirates who gazed her. Some fancied taking a crack at her and yet most had seen the result of trying to do so. There were a lot of corpses around for only what appeared to be a meager fraction of coin. Though it had bought time and ultimately dampened the blow received.

In the end, the crooked blades had mostly themselves to rely upon. Thankfully, Stella had gone to gather up Zeke's minions. And they'd be rushing into the fray soon enough. Who exactly was this woman with such thick murderous intent and vengeful eyes? Was she alone? And what would happen if they lost. Various questions could be asked and only time would tell how many would be answered.

Despite the palpable air, Mikhail could be heard strumming away upon his guitar -- increases in strength able to be felt yet still....
