Site keeps going down...

The site has gone down 4 times for me in the past 30 minutes. It keeps coming back but the fact that it is so sporadic has led me to lose content twice now that I was working on. I tried to post and the site went down before it could actually post. Then I had to rewrite all of it. Tried again when the site came back... down again. 


Is there some work being done on the site and is it possible to get a warning when things like this are going to happen or to get a heads up when the site's being wonky?

Well the site is still in a update process as far as i know. Try to copy / paste your post in any case like i do.

As Nick suggested I write all my posts in google docs or word prior to posting. Or an email if I don't have access to / want to mess with the others. 


Most emails will automatically save your work as a draft and likely they'll not be nearly as buggy. Then when I'm done writing whatever it is I just copy and paste into RPN.



This way if I am called away at work unexpectedly or have to run a quick errand I don't risk losing my stuff.
