Hello! I normally do group RP's, but I've got some character ideas I've been looking to use that haven't fit into any of the recent RP's being advertised (though if you know one that would work, feel free to let me know), so I figured I'd try the 1x1 scene to see if I have any luck here. While I don't have any real storyline ideas, two of the character ideas have enough lore ideas associated to them that it could be used as a foundation to help kickstart world building and story planning.
Before I get into the characters I'm just gonna list some expectations here.
1. 'The Forgotten Legend' - This character has achieved incredible things during their life, but they got to the point where they tired of the fame and just wanted live a simple, normal life again. As such, as a reward for their accomplishments they were granted a sleep that spanned centuries. A sleep that would cause much of their power to wither away and last long enough for their deeds to fade into legend. When they awake they find what they were promised, no one recognizes them and their power is about on par with what a more skilled adventurer, mage, or warrior would have. As such they would set out to enjoy their second chance at a normal life and to see how much the world has changed. However, to their surprise, irritation, and maybe a bit of amusement, the legends of their deeds as well as the work of others from their time has been split in half, with some of their actions being called heroic, and others being attributed to beings of evil instead.
- Beyond a cult, a god (there's more than one god, but I only have one figured out), and what exactly my character accomplished in their original time, the current world and much of its past is a blank canvas we can mold to fit what we would want to use for the RP.
- I would prefer that your character, if they are from a long lived race or otherwise have an extended lifespan, have not encountered my character in their original identity or otherwise been involved in what they had done back then.
- Speaking of history, I do have more of my character's history figured out, but I didn't mention it here just in case someone would want it to a surprise. If it ends up becoming better to share it in order to hash something out in planning, that's fine too.
- While this setup is my preferred version of the concept, I'd be open to other versions if one is interesting enough.
2. 'The Flower of the End' - At one point a group of gods decided to forge an entity composed of energies of entropy, decay, void, and the like and use it against other gods they were at war with. However, they failed to think things through before making the creature, and it started to attack and devour any and all gods it could reach. In time it became known as the Flower of the End due to the plant like form it assumed. It took an alliance of every remaining god and many mortal champions to defeat the Flower, but so many of them had been killed and the few that remained were too weak to finish off the Flower. The best they could do before perishing was to seal the weakened Flower inside a mortal host. They knew it was not a long term solution, but they had no other options and died shortly after the process, leaving this man to try to figure out what to do on his own before the Flower's very nature killed him. However to his surprise, it seems like the Flower is actively trying to restrain its power to extend his life. In addition, he finds himself able to use some powers of the same type of the Flower's.
-Things will not end well for the man, his death could be considered the end of part 1 of the story. I know who the replacement character would be, it'd be up to you if you want to figure it out on your own or I can tell you during planning.
-Doesn't matter to me what you play, but they shouldn't know about the Flower sealed inside of him, at least not at the start.
-Like the Forgotten Legend concept, the world for this is largely a blank canvas that can be molded into whatever we need.
3. 'Wielder of the Cursed Spear' - No special lore for this character outside of the weapon itself, could be used in a variety of fantasy settings. While I do have a defined power set I'd want to use, the majority of the details about the character are open to modification. Short version is that she's been bonded to a cursed spear called the Blaze of Hope that had previously been made by the gods to use against evil, but in the process of slaying one such evil it became corrupted. Now those who it bonds to use its cursed and evil power to fight against evil... but it takes a special kind of person for their mind to not be affected by the corruption. As such wielders are rare.
Yeah, so those are the three character concepts I'm currently looking to use. Feel free to respond here or PM me.

- Generally I end up doing 1 or 2 paragraphs in length for posts. I don't care if you have longer replies, but if you need to go shorter for some reason (lack of time or because it better flows with what is going on for example) that is fine, but please no one-liners.
- Decent spelling/grammer. I'm not perfect at it so I'm not going to expect it, I just ask you use spellcheck as needed and try to make sure posts are easily understandable.
- I'm not looking for or expecting romance in RPs. For me its something that if it happens organically, great, otherwise I don't worry about it and am perfectly content with platonic relationships.
- I only RP original characters and would want the same from anyone I RP with. That said, I'm perfectly fine with powers/equipment from fandoms or having ties with one or more fandoms as a lot of my characters are setup that way. However the ones I'm currently looking to use are completely original creations.
- I will never require you to RP a certain kind of role for anything I'm interested in doing, though individual ideas may have a restriction that I think may help with the story.
- Post frequency: Generally I try to post at least once a week and would prefer whoever I RP with be able to do that pace as well. If I have the inspiration and time I can sometimes do more than that in a week, but that may be reliant on me being able to squeeze out the post during my lunch break at work.
- I'd prefer to have a thread for IC stuff, but OOC stuff, character sheets, and planning can be done over PMs or Discord (my preferred OOC option).
- If you find yourself not enjoying whatever RP we are doing or need to stop because of real life stuff, just let me know! I'd rather be told than left hanging so I know that I'm open to try again if I want to.
