Introduction
For many years Dr Elizabeth Spiers has worked to help those that have suffered great trauma's in their lives. Whether it be the loss of a loved one, remorse over causing the death of another or even something like brankruptcy. The fact is Dr Spiers has never turned anyone away, wanting to work with and help everyone and anyone she can. As part of her latest project she has decided to take some of her group away for a long weekend in a remote cabin to get away from the noise of the city.
She searched for a few hours for various nearby small towns until she by chance came across a lone flyer on the street. While basic in its appearance, the pictures it showed were beautiful. Thick, forested hills flanked a small town, a beautiful river running through as the sun beamed down onto it. The picturesque nature of the place immediately overshadowed the basic nature of the flyer and with it, her mind was made up.
Those who accepted her offer now find themselves on a small bus on its way to the beautiful town she had discovered. A town called Silent Hill.
The Setting
This RP takes place in the fictional town of Silent Hill. While a basic knowledge of the game is ideal, it isn't required. Silent Hill is a town that brings to life the deepest and darkest recesses of a person's psyche and few people live long enough to survive the experience. The monstrous nature of the manifestations feeds off the fear from those that set their eyes upon them and it is this fear that often leads to people not ever leaving the town.
Set in a perpetual fog, the town is devoid of life beyond the monstrous manifestations and others in a similar situation to you. The sound of sirens brings with it a horrifying discovery that Silent Hill straddles two worlds, the current and the Otherworld. The world around you rots and rusts away leaving a twisted and malicious version of what was there before. This Otherworld is not somewhere that those of a pure heart find themselves but rather those that have done wrong.
Once you have entered Silent Hill there are only two ways to leave and for most the way they take is death.
Character Sheet
• There is a limit on the number of characters i'll accept, I just haven't decided on the number yet. That being said, please don't let that deter you from applying. If all the CS' I get are of the highest quality and I find a way to link them all then I may accept everyone.
• Fancy CS' are not a requirement but are most certainly welcome.
• Characters will all know each other.
• Given my uncertainty around the number of players I am only allowing one character per person.

Rules
• This RP is first and foremost a safe space for all people no matter their race, gender or sexual orientation. All characters of all kinds are welcome and anyone with an issue around that needs to leave this page now.
• This is a Silent Hill RP first and foremost so some of the topics, stories and imagery may be upsetting. If you have some triggers then please be sure that you will be okay in joining, the last thing I want is anyone being upset as a result of this RP.
• I am not looking to kill off any characters (initially) but if someone is constantly trying to Leroy Jenkins everything that comes their way then they will find themselves on the receiving end of something nasty.
• While I expect a basic level of writing skill, I'm not going expecting all participants to write ten thousand words for each post. Try to do a minimum of two to three paragraphs and i'll be happy.
• I'll be happy with people posting once a week as a minimum although I would hope for maybe twice a week. On the flip side, if people could refrain from posting multiple times daily as a minimum, it'd be appreciated. From my experience it can be daunting to wake up to find two characters have posted thirty times while i've been asleep.
• All standard Nation Rules apply.
