Short Bio: Born just outside of Macon, Georgia on his family farm, Colonel Phillips grew up without a father. He was raised by his mother and his grandfather. As his paternal figure, his grandfather taught him honor and how to be a good man. When he was thirteen, he discovered the truth of his parentage: His father was the god Tyr, who gifted him a special sword. When the Great War broke out, Phillips received a commission as a Lieutenant. During the Meuse-Argonne Offensive, surrounded by the mud and the blood, Phillips demanded the gods take action and stop the violence. He was cursed by his father for his arrogance, to never be allowed to die so long as war lasted. He has been searching for a way to die ever since.

Powers, Skills, Abilities: As an Elder Vampire, Melek possesses speed and strength greater than mortals. He can transform into a bat, and can make the bat as large as a ten foot wingspan. He has grown a resistance to the sun, though being out in it makes him very cranky. He is also immortal.
Short Bio: Melek, as he prefers to be called, was turned many centuries ago. So many that he often cannot remember his origins. Only strong reminders can cause him to remember, though these have become few and far between. He came to Broken Sword out of curiosity, and a desire not to have to hide as often. Also the blood selection there is much better than many other places he has been.

Short Bio: Tilly was in the Pit when Abraxas went there as part of his Journeyman training. At first it was just a challenge for her. To break this childlike mage. But the more she pushed, the less inclined he seemed to be. She became curious about how someone like him resisted her charms, which few ever had. When he asked her if she wanted to leave the Pit with him, she thought his will had finally crumbled, so she followed him. But it turned out that all he wanted to offer her was a job. Curious, she pledged her service to him for one year. One year became two, then three. Now she finds herself intensely loyal to the silly little mage, stepping in when he becomes too scatterbrained.
