This is Shinx. He is our cat. We caught him while playing Pokemon Go in the middle of the night, but it seems that he was mostly feral already by the age that we caught him. He was starving, and undersized, and he loves my significant other very much. However, I evidently am the Big and the Scary, and, as the one who actually physically caught him, I am never to be trusted. Then again, he views my significant other as an exceptional human, as she is the only human he trusts. I'm not sure why he trusts her though, considering the frequency with which she 'betrays' him by bringing him over to me, and insisting that I give him rubbs. Shinx especially feels betrayed by this, as just about every time, once he realizes there is no escape, and that the 'daddy rubs' are happening, he begins purring intensely. Yes, that is my hand on him in the picture, and yes, he is glaring while purring.
