(Intro Theme:

I hope y'all Borderlands 2 fans recognize this song that I've known before Borderlands 2 was thought of.)
Raven

------

I sat in my chair, in my office. My light blue hair in the ever-so-rare ponytail that my mother could put it in. My left arm was in a cast, due to my most recent and major fight. Across from me, sat the second in command, and one of my most trusted friends, Johnny Blue. Johnny was someone I had met when I went on exile after, well, you'll find out. He was a demigod child of Zeus, and one of the words greatest snipers. His hair was jet black, and combed back. He has a denim jacket on, and a black shirt.

"So, what are you going to do about new members Raven?" He asked, his voice was a low baritone, and soft.

I sat up, and looked him in the eye.

"Well, I have heard about a few people, so, you are going to find them. Me and my brother, John, have to find our other brother. So, we'll be gone for a little while," I said, and stood.

Johnny nodded, and I stood, and grabbed my sword. One of my two twin swords I had made. Based after the previous main, and most famous member of the SCG. I walked outside my office, and to my brother John. I looked about the age of 12, although, I was actually younger.

( Hey, Ember Bare, StealthNinja115, and KoltVeral. Everyone but Stealth has to start in a way that they aren't near the SCG, as they are on a flying island. Have fun, and you have to have a paragraph per post.)

Cross and Eclipse were on the ground in a field of grass fixing a machine, there 'flying' machine. It was working great but there were a few hick-ups here and there that drove them nuts,The machine was a two minimum person deal so with out one you can't fly it.They made it that way so neither Cross nor Eclipse leaves the other since they normally try anyway."Can you hand me the screw driver..."Cross asked, holding his hand out from under the machine .He was laying down on his back with the other hand holding a ratchet in place and needed a screw driver which was the only tool he didn't have lying beside him.Eclipse grabbed a screw driver from his tool box, leaned over down to Cross and handed him the screw driver."There.."He got a "Thanks" in reply. He was laying on top of the machine with his legs on ether side of it and a small door open in front of him showing many wires and switches inside.

Blake was sitting on the ground not to far from them just listening around,he had nothing better to do and would probably get lost if he went somewhere alone. He couldn't see what the two were really doing, all he heard was a lot of metal against metal and them asking for things from the other so he figured everything was okay for now.

Xade and Iggy were together getting a few things in a street market they needed and had time to get now."Red or Green?"Xade asked, holding two apples up to Iggy. They got hungry and decided to pick something to tied them over for now.So Xade went and got two apples since it seemed to be enough."Green."Iggy said grabbing the Green apple from Xade and smiled as he took a bite.He was met with another smile back from Xade as he began to eat his too.

( Sorry it took me so long to respond, I wasn't home during the weekend, but now I'm back and hopefully won't be away any longer. Also, I'm going to do all my posts in completely 3rd person from now on because some of the two-character interactions I need to do between my characters. One more thing, I'm almost finished with the rest of my character sheets it should be finished tomorrow, I've been busy and haven't been able to get around to it.)

Johnathon was standing in front of his brother Andrew after he had told his brother about the disappearance of Alexander, Andrew's twin brother. Andrew was tipped back in a chair behind his desk, which was scattered with variable metal objects including screwdrivers and small iron pipes. He twisted a wrench in his hand thoughtfully, honestly a little frustrated.

"I'm coming with you, me and Alex might have a few differences, but rest assured he's my brother. We also have a score to settle with each other, eh?" Andrew added onto the end of Johnathon's story. Andrew wasn't going to let his twin brother just slip out from under his nose and disappear without a trace.

"No, you can't. I came and told you because I needed you to keep Jessica and Abbie in line while I was gone trying to find Alex," Johnathon felt, truthfully, that his plan on telling Andrew and him accepting it had gone to hell.

"Jacob can to damn fine on his own, although if they chose to the four girls could out rule him... Easily..." Andrew smirked at his last comment about his brother, he knew that some of the girls could lay Jacob straight if they wanted to, but Jacob, whether they were woman or not, would retaliate against them if they harmed him in any way.

"I can't let you come, there's no way I can, we need as many people here as we can have, just in case something goes wrong," Johnathon honestly just wanted to go by himself, but he wasn't going to say no to Raven. He didn't plan to stand down to Andrew on this matter, he just wasn't going to.

"Well, Johnny boy, it sounds as if you're doubting the people we'd leave behind. That Johnny Blue guy that just showed up, along with Jacob and the girls, I mean, do you really think they can't at least hold the fort until we get back. I mean, face it, if Alex is gone because of the reason we think.... Know... He's gone, there'll be a black trail of ash left behind where he went, and we know it," Andrew looked up at Johnathon as he finished, and Johnathon didn't have anything to say about it. They both knew that if Alex was gone because of the death of his father, then he'd be mad, and when he's mad, there's no point in trying to get him to control the fire, he just can't.

Johnathon simply nodded and walked off. Andrew grabbed a long metal pole that he uses as a staff, and walked out of the room. They both walked outside on the island and waited for Raven to come out, they weren't bringing anything unneeded, which pretty much meant they weren't bringing anything at all.

Raven

-----

I walked outside, and saw my half-brothers. Yea, as in only my father's children. My mother, Naomi, who was actually younger than what you think most mothers are, about the age of 19 or 20, only had 2 children. Myself, and my little brother, Marshall. I sighed, and walked over to them.

"Well, it seems that we've got a brother to find, and that you're coming with, Johnny Boy?" I said, and smiled as I called my brother Johnny Boy, "And yea, Mr. Blue may have shown up out of the blue, no pun intended, but I've known him for a long time. He has my trust, which is why he'll be in command until we return. Now remember brother, I read minds. That's why I know you asked that." I said, and smiled the way only a Monroe could smile.

I also added this, "And by the way, in case Johnny does much up, Naomi's been the leader before, she may have recently had Marshall, but she's able to lead and be a mother at the same time."

Johnny Blue

------------

I was in charge until Raven returned, I was fine with that. I'm a child of Zeus, it's in my ABLE-A-TAH lead. I know what I'm doing, I've lead myself for a long time, since my mother was killed when I was a wee-lad. No biggy. It'd be easy. First matter of business was, well, we need to eat, and it was lunch time. Calling people down to eat, I'd say then.

Johnathon nodded at Raven, then looked at Andrew.

"Looks like we're ready to go, with one more than we set out with, eh Raven?" Johnathon half-joked. He wasn't really fond of the idea of having Andrew come with them, but even Johnathon couldn't say that he wouldn't be of any help if something went wrong. Andrew also had a point when he said that the people here could hold the fort, there was Abby, Annie, Julia, and Jess if anything went wrong, along with Jacob and this Blue guy. Johnathon relaxed a little mentally, and it showed a little on the outside as his sohulders sank a little. Now that he thought about it, this place was a hell of a lot better guarded than he thought.

Meanwhile, a couple of hundred miles away in a jungle-surrounded compound consisting of a large group of an army of people labeled the "Maradetti," a man crouched in the brush behind two guards on the far east side of the compound. He was in the compound, but even on the inside the overgrowth had shown through. The man sprung from the bushes, placing one foot carefully on the back of the left guard's knee. The guard's knee collapsed and fell to the ground. As the guard's knee hit the ground, the man's other foot span around as his body rotated along with it. The man's foot collided with the back of the right guard's head, rendering the guard unconscious. The man kept the rotation going as he brough his left foot off the back of the back of the left guard's knee, causing the man to spin in midair. The man allowed the spin to put force behind his elbow as he brought it down on the conscious gaurd's head, leaving a grand total of 0 conscious guards in the general vicinity. This process took a total of a little short of one second.

The man looked up and noticed one of the guards in the higher-up command posts sitting in the south-eastern area was rotating his head in this direction. He quickly dragged the bodies of the two unconscious guards into the bushes, hoping that the observer didn't memorize the two guards that were just standing there. The man already planned ahead, he waited for the shift at the command post to switch, so the person in it was less likely to realize the two missing guards.

The man stopped to catch his breath as he saw the guard in the command post pause for a breif second before continuing his scan to the next location. The man brushed his blue hair out of his eyes. Well, he thought to himself, this is going to be big job.

-------

I walked to the room that had the announcement thing, or whatever. I didn't much care for a name of most things, except my sniper, my sniper rifle is my baby. I called up every member, Taylor, Naomi, Tiera, and the Goodwins that WEREN'T going on that mission. I said for them to meet me in the cafe, as I had a few things to talk about, in person.

Raven

------

"You bet your can it's guarded. It has more people here than what you think. Like our aunt. It's that simple," I smarted off. Yea, there is a lot of people on this island, but not as many as good as what there used to be. Sadly, my own father was one of them.

( You'll want this, as it fits all the next information, portaining to the most important characters who have died that where in the SCG.

)
As Naomi heard the call to the mess hall, a sad flashback ran through her mind.

May 23rd, 2012.

A scream off in the distance. It was her younger, 16 year old brother, James. As that time, he was the leader of the Short Change Gang, and the most well known for it. He was in a fight with the Greek Demon, Wako-Shaka.

Naomi, Raven, Kirk, and many other members of the SCG ran to the scene. James was on his knees, looking at Wako. His left arm lay on the ground, and James, for the first time in over two years, looked fearful.

"Give it up, you'll never win," Wako said, the black and white demon said.

"I'll never give up, not as long as it counts!" James shouted, and threw a kick that disarmed Wako of his deadly, two handed black sword.

James had also dropped the sword that was in his right hand, now, a battle was fuming. A hand to hand, battle to the death.

James' 3 year old scar underneath his left eye was opened, and bleeding. He was battered, bruised, and disarmed in a literal way. Wako was just as good off. He was bleeding, a black like substance for blood, bruised, and beaten. The difference, is he still had both arms. James' white martial arts pants were stained with his own blood, and his shirt was torn, and stained with both fighter's blood.

James' left wing was out, not extended, not even broken. James leaped into the air, and kicked the demon in the face, making him stumble backwards. James landed, and pulled out his own knife, a home-made bowie knife, serrated right before the hilt. He went to stab at the demon, and was disarmed, Wako now had the knife. A flash of blue electrical light happened, causing everyone to shield their eyes.

The flash was over, Wako had a gaping hole in his chest, and he stumbled backwards.

"I, can, can see," He said, as he started to have color. His skin tone, a light tan. His eyes a light hazel, hair, a light green. The tattoos on his arms, blue. He took one last step, and fell down into the valley below.

James looked down, sensing a pain in his stomach. His knife lay on the ground, covered in a warm, crimson liquid. His own blood, was the first, and only blood that knife would taste. James touched the stab wound in his gut, and raised his right hand to his face, looking at the blood with his dark, yet bright blue eyes.

"You got me," James said, and started to fall backwards.

Naomi ran up, and caught him. Her youngest brother, was dying in her arms.

"Come on James, hang on. Don't die on me. Come one baby bro, you're tough, you can make it," Naomi said, she was already crying.

Jack, her second youngest brother, was right next to her, his 2 minute younger than him, yet able to take on the world, brother, lay dying.

"No, no, no, no, not you James, not again, you can make it, please!" Jack cried out. They'd already lost one great friend, about three years prior.

Kirk, and his younger sister Taylor, where behind the group. Taylor had been wed to Jack, and now she was seeing the death of her brother in law. As was Kirk. He was engaged to Naomi.

Raven Monroe-Parker, stood in the background, face as pale as snow, and eyes wide, with silent tears. Before this battle, James had come to her, asking her if she thought he could just charge into the battle, and she said yes. She blamed herself for this.

James smiled, and coughed up, and then looked Naomi in the eyes.

"I, I guess, I, won't be, making, your wedding, after, after all, sis. . ." James said, and then he looked to the left, his eyes gazing off to his destiny. His eyes glazed, and he let his last breath out.

"Baby brother! No, James, no!" Naomi cried. Her own brother, her youngest, and most toughest sibling, had died in her arms, just like years before, the original leader of the Short Change Gang had died in James arms.

Three years prior.

The first day of winter, just before the first snowfall, at twilight hour.

James was 13 years of age, as was Jack. Naomi and Tiera, 15. The leader of the group, Raven Meredith Kasper, was 15. James and her had just recently gotten together.

James was the best fighter of the group, he'd taken many karate, kung fu, and many other martial arts classes. They where in a fight. James had freed the rest of the group form kidnappers, and they where in mid battle.

James had noticed the boss of the bad guys, was aiming a rifle at him. He'd prepared for his young death, and closed his eyes. The gunshot rang out. James opened his eyes, to be staring into another set of eyes. Raven had jumped in front of the bullet, and taken it right in the back, in the spinal chord. It was a mortal wound. Her knees weakened, and her breath caught. She grabbed onto James, and he onto her.

"No, no, Raven, you'll be fine," James said to her, in his soothing Japanese voice.

"No, no, I won't, you, have to go on, without me," Raven said. Everything around these two had froze, Naomi, Jack, and Tiera looked on in horror. One of their greatests friends had been dealt a fatal wound.

"Don't say that," James said, a tear running down his cheek, his hazel eyes looking at her in a comforting manor.

She was beyond saving, and they both knew that. Raven leaned up, and gave James one last, departing kiss, as her life force drained away. She died in his arms, at the first snowfall, just as night fell. She is the very person that Naomi's first born daughter was named after.

Three weeks after the death of James.

Jack, was in his helicopter, fighting an enemy flying base, most other flyer fighters had been downed, and Jack was the last one there. His dearest wife, Taylor, had yelled at Naomi and Kirk, begging them to make him come back. Jack wouldn't say yes.

A missile flew, and impacted Jack's heli. It melted the door stuck, and he had no escape.

Over the radio, came the sound of his voice.

"Taylor, I'm sorry, i truly am, forgive me, I know you will," Jack said, and he took off his mic.

He fired a missile at the ship, impacted one of the major things it needed to fly, blowing it up.

"That's for James, my brother who died because of you ***holes!" Jack yelled. He fired another missile.

"That one is for my children, Jack Jr. and Jewelia!" Jack again yelled, and fired yet another missile.

"And that one's for my wife, Taylor! And for you taking me away from my family, and friends!" Jack yelled.

He know flew the helicopter right at the bridge. His intent was obvious. There was no escape for Jack anyway.

"And this one, is for me, YOU SONS OF *******!" Jack yelled, as his helicopter flew into the bridge, causing explosions, and death to the enemy crew on board.

As Jack sat there, watching the flames around him, feeling the air get hotter, and listening to the gasoline in his helicopter drip, he laughed.

"James, wherever the Hades you are, you better have a spot reserved for me," Jack said, and then laughed. He finished his laughter right before the ship, the helicopter and everything inside blew up.

Those where the three flashbacks that ran through Naomi's mind. The death of her younger brothers, and her greatest friend. She couldn't ever really think of her almost husband, Kirk, as she wasn't there when the fatal blow was struck. She walked to the mess hall, in a distorted state. She'd lost some of her best friends, and greatest allies here, and she'd not stop fighting due to their deaths, she'd continue. She'd have to stand for others if they could not, as was the motto, of the Short Change Gang, and all who are in the group.

( I guess since you've put those up I should put up the last one... I wasn't there, but Taylor gave me a decently... Detailed... Description. I think that it could help the others understand what happened... I'm going to give as much as a I know, and I don't know the time, so I'm not going to have one. )

Alex was remembering the moment for at least the hundreth time, the moment of the blow that eventually killed his father...

Kirk, along with his daughter Raven, his sons Alex and John, and a man named Leon, were on the island fighting to keep a group off of the island, and the group was fighting back. Leon fell off of the side of the island. Kirk was going up against two enemies at once, one of the which had a sharp spear/pole (She wasn't clear on what it was really). Kirk brought his foot up and knocked the unarmed enemy on his ass, and he clung onto the edge of the island and Alex stomped on one of his hands and made him fall, the man grabbed onto Alex's leg, and Alex almost fell. Alex held onto the island just long enough to see his father being impaled in the back by the spear of the other man. Alex saw Kirk fall to his knees as the spear came out through his chest. John kicked the man away from their father and in a flash the man was completely de-limbed and decapitated. Alex saw his father falling from his knees to being completely flat on his stomach. He didn't see his father hit the ground before he fell off the edge of the island.

After he kicked the man that pulled him off the island into the sea, Alex flew back to the island to find John and Raven practically dragging Kirk into the windmill, Alex caught up with them and saw his dad, practically lifeless, getting dragged into the infirmary to meet his newborn son.

The rest was a blur of tears and anger to Alex, and he found himself still crouching, but with a tear in his eye. He looked through the brush at the guard in the command post, he quickly looked over his position and kept going. Alex looked a the unconscious guards next to him, and quickly ran acrossed a vast area that was completely concovered. He relaxed a little when he got to more brush, he had only two guards down, but there weren't many left after the last time they were raided, he may only have about 50 or 60 more to go.

Andrew and Johnathon were about to leave the island to look for their brother Alex, Johnathon looked at Raven and Andrew and nodded "Well, you guys ready?" He asked harmlessly, hopefully this wouldn't take long, he and Alex had a little business to do.

"Done!" Eclipse yelled as he slammed the hatchet shut and slid down the side of the machine."How's it going?"He said as he kneeled down to take a look under at Cross and what he was doing."Super..."He got back sarcastically from his brother as he was still tinkering around."Almost done, just got to adjust the fan, relocate the wires leading from it and start up the battery to see if it'd work..."Eclipse smiled as he crawled under and laid beside Cross, looking up into the machine."The fan seemed well attached to the wheel so that won't be a problem anymore, the bolts holding the fan on though are a bit old."Cross sighed."Yea,but we can't change them at the time since we had no spares."He said as he began leading the wires along a frame and holding them against it with metal holders he screwed in."This part isn't to hard and shouldn't take long so can you get ready to start it up?"Eclipse nodded."Will do."He said as he scooted out and climbed back onto the machine into one of the seats."tell me when your ready."Right after he said that he heard."Ready!" and slamming of the two doors below.Eclipse started the engine and it roared to life as Cross jumped up out from under it.

Blake was startled by the loud sound and looked there way,of course not seeing anything. He stood up and walked over with his hands in his pockets, and stopped right beside Cross who was standing there staring at the machine. He focused on the sounds it made and seemed all clear to him,he held a thumb up to Eclipse and he stopped the engine."So?"He asked Cross as he jumped out of the seat."Sound good,we could test it now right?"Cross looked excited now,but Eclipse shook his head and smiled."It needs a name! Then we can."He chuckled.Cross sighed, but a name would be good.He tried to think of one the looked at Blake and poked him,"You have a name?"Blake looked over where he was poked and then tilted his head slightly as he thought,he walked to the ship and felt it with his hands. He felt the ridges and the first thing that popped up into his head was "Van."he said in a soft voice."Vanship?"Cross and Eclipse smiled and nodded as they both said."Sounds good."Cross hopped up onto Blake's shoulders as Eclipse climbed back up into the 'Vanship' in the back seat."Now we can go."

(What the Vanship looks like: http://i582.photobucket.com/albums/ss262/dolphinbear1/vanship.jpg )

Johnny sighed.

"As you all may know, many of the members before my time have passed on, many of them better a fighter, leader, and warrior, than what I could ever hope to be. Not a single one of them can, or will be replaced. It's simply not possible, and we all know that. There is one thing we can do, we are short on the Short Change, which, well, the original members where only 5 strong. Think of the possibilities, that would happen, if there where more of us. We could have branches in parts of the world, we could do soo much," Johnny said.

Naomi sighed, and thought to herself, this isn't the Short Change Gang I knew, not anymore.

"I have been assigned to recruit a few people, that Raven and I have heard of. I shall be departing today, and in Raven's place our leader'll be Naomi. She, is one of the two surviving original members. She know how to lead, and well, also that I'm new here, and yea," Johnny said. he simply walked out of the mess hall, leaving Naomi to whatever she was to do.

Johnny walked to his room, and grabbed his sniper, and spotter telescope. He'd always scout people out before anything. See how they react, see things like that. And the thing is, if he deemed it necessary to shoot you with his sniper, you'd never know he was there. His best record so far, is 1000 yards away. Take 3, and multiply that by 3, and that's how many feet away. He can scope you out from a mile away. He checked his list, first "customer" was, Kolt Veral. Heck kind of name is that, Johnny thought, but then disregarded that.

He'd simply walked outside after that, and disappeared into a reverse lightning strike.

Raven

------

I nodded, it was time to find our brother, that was something that needed done. He should know that Kirk's dead, and he'll never be coming back. I should know.

"Yea, let's go find our brother, talk some sense into him," I said.

The truth is, in a way, I have seen Death, in the face, but survived. I have died, but came back due to adrenaline. A re-jump start to my heart. When that happened, during the fight that I broke my arm in, and also proved myself worthy of being the Short Change Heroine, I had seen some old, familiar faces. Faces that the living cannot see. I was dead, and saw those who had died for the SCG. Raven Kasper, James, Jack, Kirk, and many more. They gave their speeches, and I came back to life and kicked can. So, in a way, you could say that I'm undead. Although, I'd say it's more like an EMS squad saved me. It's more along those lines, alright. But one thing about that, that always touches me, is how my uncle Jack, even after his death, made sure that I'd let his widow, Taylor, know that he loves her. Look up true love in the dictionary, and I believe you'd see those two.

And I also wondered what that business her brother and Alex had to do was, but, it was probably none of my information.

(Good God, I write a lot when I get thinking. )

Naomi sighed, it had been awhile since she and her dead fiancee had been the co-leaders. Both sharing equal parts in leading. Now she was in almost the same situation. She had only menial tasks for the crew as of now. After Raven's battle with the man responsible for so many a number being taken from the Short Change Gang, not many a thing had been happening. So, Naomi was on her laptop. She got on her email, and noticed something new.

"Dear Naomi,

Don't ask me how, or where, but I know of you guys. I obviously know your email. Yes, I'm a hacker, and no, I'm not a "bad" one. Not one you'd consider bad. I'm on your team. I can't tell you who I am, as it would endanger more people than it needs to be. One of your numbers is not as they seem. That's right, you've got a literal spy among you. I am not sure whom, but I am certain that there is a spy. I'll be meeting up with your numbers in good time. Remember, your Fate lies in your hands, and your hands alone. Remember that Naomi, and let your children know."

Naomi somehow had the feeling that this person, whoever they are, personally knew either a current member, or a former member of the Gang. Who ever this person was, seemed rather legit. And besides, having a spy among-st the group, is serious business.

Across the world, in a random alley, sat a girl. About the age of 17, now. In her lap, was her laptop. To her side, was a bo staff. She had long, black hair. She was dressed in all black. She'd gone through a lot, and she had personally knew one of the former members of the Gang. In fact, she had fallen in love with him. Saying as he is dead now, none of that matters. Her hood was up, and it was raining. She sighed. She packed up her laptop, and stood up. Using her bo staff as a walking staff. She was young, but she had seen her fair share of fights. Her limp though, was fake. The ragged scar through her right eye, was not. She wasn't blind in either blind, and even if she was, she could use the shadows to see, everything. As darkness is always there. The young, British girl was in London, and she was finally going to get herself involved in the Short Change Gang.

Johnny sent a raging blast of electricity out, and it hit Kolt, knocking him off of Johnny.

"Know, as for why I am here," Johnny said, as he stood, "I am the second in command of the Short Change Gang, no, no, not a gang in the bad sense. We are people who will risk our very lives to save the innocents of this planet. I know that to be true, as many a member have died for the cause."

Johnny also had out a knife by this time. Just in case he needed it. He didn't want, or need a fight. In fact, that punch, and that tree, well, they hurt.

"And by the way, may I ask how in the world you hit like your Hercules?"

"Why should one of the most infamous groups of heroes have to explain why they want you to join?" Johnny asked. He sighed, "Well, saying as you obviously don't give a rat about us, I'll just leave you on your way. Sorry for waking you up, and also for making you smell like bacon. Well, if you really wanna know. A lot of the really, really great heroes died, and well, we're short on numbers. Then again, it IS the Short Change Gang, after all. And saying as we came to you, you must be rather skilled, which by sending me through a tree, no small feat, you proved your worth. Stop me from walking away if you wish to join, otherwise, you'll probably never meet a member and know it again." Johnny said, and turned, putting his sniper on his back.

Denevan and Rafaela were practically strangers to one another. As she was travelling with Denevan, many questions jumped around Rafaela's troubled mind: Who is this man? What does he want, and why did he attack my parents? Is he a good buy or a bad guy? There was naught but absolute silence for 3 days, 5 hours, and 11 minutes since they have been flying to get away from her still-living parents. Denevan was carrying Rafaela on his back. And finally, Rafaela asked "Who are you, and what in the world do you want with me?" Denevan finally put down on the ground. "It's about time, really," Denevan said sharply. "I was beginning to think you were a mute." "To answer your questions: First, my name is Denevan Auveille. Second, I overheard you when I first found you with your idiotic parents. You said that you will join the Short Change Gang if it meant that they would be able to reach you. I do not want anything from you. I am going to take you to the Short Change Gang, and then I will be about my business." Rafaela was somewhat relieved now. "At least I know now that he isn't going to hurt me," Rafaela said finally at ease. "But can we have something to eat now? Aren't you hungry?," she asked. Denevan took out some fruit and two canteens of water. "Not another word until you have eaten something," Denevan said quietly. Two ate the fruit and drank the water and after an hour, after discussing the past, the two fell asleep, so they could take on the world tomorrow.

Strolling through the towns streets, Avento was determined. His charcoal hair was becoming itchy through stress, he had to find the store fast. During his training his eyes have become restless and painful, so he requested to see an eye doctor somewhere in town but had no idea where this blasted place was. After of what seemed was hours, Avento found the doctors office. His voice spoke of which sounded like deaths command. "I am here for Doctor Stephen I believe it was. Show me him now." Somewhat intimidated the nurse found the doctor and sent Avento on his way. The doctor showed him the bed for patients and asked him to please lay down. Following the guidance he laid down and began to think of a lie for why the visit was so needed. "Well you see I was doing some work on an umm construction site, yeah, and once the job was done my eyes were very fatigued. Fix them now." Out of fear the doctor ran many test on the mans eye's only to come to the conclusion that they were 'broken' but not in a way he's seen before. "Well sir there's something wrong with your eyes but nothing at the same time. I'll send you off with some eye drops to see if it will ease the pain, and try to sleep more." Grasping the eye drops he stood up and looked the man strait in the eyes. The next thing that happened was Avento was biding farewell to the lady at the front desk. As he walked out of the establishment he heard the screams of nurses "THE DOCTOR IS DEAD" Avento wasn't even amused enough to smile.

Iggy and Xade walked down the street, away from the market. They had finished getting what they needed and started heading out,not sure of where they were heading though. Before they just wandered to pass time so now they didn't have anything to do once again,Iggy looked into the bag of goodies they got making sure they didn't forget anything.Xade just watched him also making sure he wouldn't run into anything since he seemed to not be paying attention at the time.

As morning came, Rafaela woke up ready for a new day. She looked around for Denevan, but she could not find him at all. "What? Where did he go?," Rafaela asked worriedly. At the moment, she was very scared. Anything could happen now. Without Denevan by her side, she knew her chances of survival were not as great with Denevan around. "I thought you might be hungry, so I flew down to hunt for fish," Denevan said in a relaxed tone, getting a fire started. Out of happiness, Rafaela rushes to Denevan and hugs him. "What's this? Stop that," Denevan said rather confused. Denevan did say he would leave her at the Short Change Gang, and that was end of it. Denevan never saw deception as a useful tool, so he always spoke honestly. "Now let's eat so we can go. We're having Salted Salmon with Rice for breakfast." " You're pretty passionate about cooking," Rafaela said. "I guess I am," Denevan said modestly, already finishing his food. "I imagine those brothers who were working on that machine might not have gotten far. Let's go while I can still have that new machine smell." Rafaela jumped on Denevan's back as he began to run. He then jumped and spread his wings diving down following the smell.

Johnny now teleported away, now he was in the clouds, literally. He teleported next to Rafeela and and Denevan.

"Hello there." Johnny said, simply, "I heard one of you wanna join the Short Change Gang, well, we say 'hello!'"

( Sorry for not responding for a while, I wasn't in proximity of any computers for a long time, but that'll be fixed now that I'm in school )

Johnathon looked at his brother about a half a mile on his left, and Raven the same distance to his right. They were searching for Alex now and Andrew had found some scorched earth and tracks, so they were following those tracks and hoping to find Alex.

Johnathon turned his vision to the two people on either side of him to directly in front of him, and saw a thick wall of overgrowth, and behind the overgrowth was a tall metal wall.

Johnathon whistled, starting low and raising as it dragged on, the warning the three set up. Johnathon looked over at his brother and saw that he was making his way to Johnathon, and Johnathon only assumed that Raven was doing so too. Andrew was about halfway to Johnathon when Johnathon heard it-- the sound of rapid gunshots.

Alex was looking over the part of the Maradetti camp that he almost completely cleared out. He heard the door creak open and the guard started talking to the guard that should have been up there without even completely opening the door yet, "Max, Jordan's been tryin-" The guard stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Alex. The guard reached for his gun and swung it out in front of him. Alex pushed the gun upwards with his palm and the guard started shooting rapidly. Alex hit the man in the head with the butt of the gun and knocked him unconscious.

Alex looked out of the window of the command post and saw a guard in the only non-cleared command post hit the alarm. Alex soon saw why this was considered the biggest Maradetti camp.

Armed soldiers rushed out of ever hut around the camp, even the ones Alex already cleared. More soldiers climbed out from hidden doors in the overgrowth. They surrounded the command post that Alex was in and some of them started running up the steps. Alex grabbed the gun off the soldier and one of his grenades. He shot out the window and jumped out of the window. Alex hit the ground and pulled the grenade pin, he busted towards a ground of guards, and pushed passed them in an explosion of fire. He managed to jump down into one of the hidden doors and get it shut, so he kept running. He ran into a few guards, and took them out pretty fast.

Alex was chased up and down the underground cavern he found. It was an entire base, he realized. He ran into a room unseen and quickly shut the door.

There was one man in the room, sitting in a chair looking the other way. The man spun around and Alex jumped on the desk and picked the man up.

"Tell me, where is this place running from?" Alex was going to be straight up, no threatening, if the man wasn't going to answer the Alex would just have to get rid of him right there.

"I'll tell you, if you put me down," The man said coolly, and Alex obeyed, the man continued. "I'm not supposed to be here either, sonny. But everything you want to know about this place is right here." The man pulled up a map on the huge screen, then sat back in his chair. Alex could tell he was in pain, and it took until now to realize the man was covered in blood from the waist down. By the time Alex figured this out, the man was already dead.

Alex looked at the map the man pulled up and analyzed it thoroughly, his next move. Was the final move.

The Vanship flew through the air with great speed as the twins laughed and had there fun.Eclipse sat in the back seat as navigator and yelled to Cross when and where to go,as Cross sat in the front seat on Blake's lap who they wanted to tag along and not get left behind.Cross controlled where they went as both watched the ships progress,Blake of course just sat listening and trying not to get in the way of Cross.Cross actually was comfy with Blake there and wasn't bothered but Blake didn't know."quarter count left!"Eclipsed yelled to the front and was answered with what he demanded."Think it'll be okay now?"Cross asked Blake who he knew could hear the vanship's movement well,Blake nodded since he heard the engine move smoothly and no parts sounded out of tune.

Feeling an unsteady force, Taint rose from his rest." Oh that was nice, well better go train again." He wiped his charcoal hair from his eyes and to put on his outfit. A t-shirt the color of his eyes and a jacket of jean seemed nice to him that day, as it always did for a reason. Once ready, he emerged from his apartment. " I wonder if I can get any missions done for anyone, preferably dangerous, I need more training, more action..."

After an hour he made it to his woods for his daily training. "Ok so 100 sword slashes, a couple, maybe 9-10 mile jog, and some sword techniques should do it for now." He trained with such strain, only to get nothing as he usually received.

Xade and Iggy walked out of the town and into the woods, which leads on to a open plan after about a mile.Which was where they were heading,Xade didn't know why but Iggy said so so he didn't question it.Iggy had ran into at least three trees and tripped two times so far since he wasn't paying any attention to where he was walking,Xade had taken what he had carried so none of it got hurt anymore than it was already.Xade sighed as Iggy spoke about something he didn't understand, they were about half way though so Xade knew he'd have to tolerate more of this in the other half.

(Instead of making it bold I'll use Medium Blue for Denevan and Maroon for Rafaela.)

Denevan stopped the second he saw Johnny. "Yes. That one would be her," Denevan said, showing Johnny Rafaela."This poor girl has no place to go, and her parents do not provide a safe environment for her. She is very talented as a doctor. I have no doubt in my mind that you will have use for her." In Rafaela's mind, he said that so formally as if he had rehearsed it last night. However; she didn't want to leave Denevan all alone. He needed somewhere to be as well. "He is right, but may my friend comes with me?," Rafaela asked. "You shouldn't be worrying about me," Denevan said with a dull expression on his face. "I can take care of myself, but me joining them is for Johnny or their leader to decide."

(Warning: This is the longest post I've ever posted on any roleplay site, and it is very detailed, but it is very important.)

Alex looked back at the dead man sitting in the chair, then again at the map he had pulled up. He walked to the closed door, and listened to the sound of hundreds of armed soldiers running in the underground tunnels. He waited for a while, scanning the room for ways to escape. He noticed the casual means of escape on every spy movie- the air vent. Only, this air vent was on the floor, not on the ceiling or high on the walls. Alex walked to the air vent and noticed it was welded down, but that meant nothing to Alex. He torched the vent and melted it through. He climbed into it and started to crawl, imagining the map in his head and visualizing where he was on it. He was going towards the main armory and storage of weapons. I mean, that's where most of THEM would be, right?

As he was crawling through the vents, what he knew was shown to him- multiple barriers of metal with holes in them so air could get through- but people couldn't. This was easy, all he had to do was do what he did to the vent cover.

It proved harder than he thought- there were over 20 of the barriers, each one about 1.5 feet thick- Oh, and get this- they were heat resistant, who would gave guessed?

After about 5 minutes, yes, that's Alex's version of hard, but after about 5 minutes, Alex was directly under the weapon's storage, and he could see the many guards that were guarding the entire place.

Alex heated the metal of the vent cover, but not so much that it glowed with heat. Once it was heated, he pushed on it slowly, slowly bending the metal, slow enough that he wouldn't be seen doing it. Once it was pushed out just a little so there was a dent in it, he looked at the guard closest to the main weapons barracks. He reeled back, and punched the vent cover in a precise spot. The cover flew and almost hit the guy he was aiming for, but instead narrowly missed him and hit the guy behind him. Alex cursed silently while jumping out of the ventilation system and nailing the guy standing right in front of him in the jaw, breaking his jaw and knocking him unconscious.

Alex grabbed his gun and shot at the guard in front of the main weapons barracks. The other guards shot at him, but the bullets mostly ended up stopping in the unconscious-now dead- guard, and those bullets that didn't stop didn't make it through the guard fast enough to get to Alex without melting.

Alex shot the remaining guards, and shut the door and welded it shut. Once this was finished, Alex busted open the main Weapons Barracks, and smiled to himself. He pulled off anything that could possibly explode and piled it in the middle of the room. He heard the guards trying to get through the welded door.

Once all the explosives were piled in the middle of the room, he found a time bomb in the pile. He set the time bomb for 10 minutes, put it deep into the middle of the pile, started it, and pushed explosives back over it.

Alex then crawled back into the ventilation system and crawled back to where the map and the dead man were. Since everyone was at the Weapons Barracks, no one would stop him from getting out. He blew the door open with a fireball and ran his way back to the secret door he used, and climbed out.

Meanwhile, outside of the camp, Johnathon, Andrew, and Raven (Sorry for using your character fall, I'm not actually controlling her I'm just kind of putting her where she would be anyway...), stood about 100 yards from the camp, when they heard Alex's voice from inside of the walls: "No, S***!"

Johnathon instantly recognized the voice, and went to run towards the camp. He made it about 3 steps before he saw Alex climbing over the wall of the camp.

Alex knew that they would have found this place by now- and he was happy they did- but now was a bad time. "Johnathon! Andrew! Raven! RU-" before he could finish his sentence, the bomb on the inside of the camp went off, blowing Alex forward and the other three were thrown off their feet backwards, the explosion wasn't enough to kill them through the wall, but in knocked all of them but Johnathon unconscious.

Johnathon saw a helicopter drop three guys directly next to them, one of them walked up to Alex, the other two to Johnathon, Andrew, and Raven. The one by Alex picked Alex up, and one of them by the other three picked Andrew up. Johnathon grabbed the one that picked Andrew up by the leg, and he looked down. Johnathon's vision was blurry and he couldn't make out anything of the guys face, but the one that didn't pick up either of the twins pointed his hand gun at Johnathon, and it was lights out.

(@TheFallOfItAl Raven can wake up first, and Andy and Alex are still there, and Johnathon is in a pool of blood--- but he's still alive.)

-----

I wake with a bit of a head ache, and then remember, I stand fast, and look around, then up. Helicopter! I leap in the air, and spread my wings. I ignore my knocked out half brothers, they can handle them selves. That heli is more important. I fly up to it, and slam through the door, not sure of what I was going to find inside, then, well, I got punched in the face, it hurt, but I grabbed the guy, and threw him out of the chopper. About 15 feet above water, he'll live. None of my brothers are in, so, now I simply have to take a crash course in crashing a heli. I fight my way through the baddies, and throw the pilot out, leaping out myself just before the chopper hits water and sinks. I then fly towards the chopper that I believe have John, or Alex, or Johnathon in, I still can't really tell who's who.
