Leon leaned back in the chair a little and looked into Zara's eyes. "Now that's no good." He reached into a cannot and grabbed some aspirin. He took two out and held them in his hand for her.


"In case your head hurts too." He said and smiled gently. Her eyes were just as beautiful as ever; he just kept looking deep into them, not realizing that he had begun to blush.

Zara smiled slightly and groaned. She reached out and took one of the aspirins. "Thanks, Sergeant Major." She said, nodding to him.


She took her glass and swallowed the aspirin. She sat up on the bed, her back against the pillows.

Leon smiled a little and let Zara lay in his bed comfortably. He threw the other aspirin pill away and set the class of water next to you so you can get to it if you need to.


"She needs to eat.." He whispers, thinking back to when she didn't eat yesterday. He wondered what he could do to help her.

Zara stared down at her lap, almost asleep. She closed her eyes and was about to fall asleep when she woke herself. She groaned and rolled over so she laid on her side, facing towards Leon.


She glanced over at him and smiled as their gazes connected. Her eyes shone and she smiled.

Leon blushed badly and looked deep into her eyes. They reflected back at his and he smiled largely. "You have the most beautiful eyes.." He whispered quietly.

Now it was Zara's time to blush. "T-Thank you.." She replied. She smiled slightly and blinked.

He noded and continued to smile, chuckling a little. He almost felt the temptation to kiss her but shook it off knowing how badly he would hurt afterwards.


"Anything you need?" He asked as he looked at her lips for a moment but then stood up.

Zara yawned and shook her head. "No thank you Staff Sergeant, I've bothered you enough already. So sorry for the intrusion." She said as she sat up, blinking sleep from her eyes.


She swore if she closed her eyes, she would fall asleep again. She was in someone else's quarters, so she couldn't do that.

Leon frowned a little as she turned her back. "Does she really think she's a bother?" He said in his head. As he stood up behind her he walked in front of her and leaned against the door.


"You're not a bother. I've enjoyed your company." He said as he blushed badly. Wondering why it seemed it took more courage to say those words than it did to run into bullets on a Battlefeild.


So, he just asked. "I-I'm not really sure what this is. But I see you.. And my heart races faster than it does in battle. How can my heart race for something so vibrantly other than my greatest love?"

Zara was surprised as she saw him stop her. She smiled. "Thank you." She said brightly.


She crossed her arms over her chest and listened intently. "I see.. Well I'm sorry but I don't know how to help." She added.

Leon nods slowly and blushed badly as he steps forwards. He gently reaches out and retrieves Zara's hand, pulling it towards him and placing it near his heart.


"Is it possible that I have found something.. That I could love more than war?.." He said in his head before leaning forward slightly, going to give Zara a hug but before reaching her he collapsed.


Memories from his past war rushed to his mind. His teammates dying, his heartbroken family, his destroyed life. But this didn't faze him. It was that a new challenge has approached. One more confusing than any combat situation, one more deadly than any weapon, and one more beautiful than any Battlefeild.

Zara blushed slightly as he took her hand and placed it near his beating heart. She could feel it beating, fast but steady. It sent shivers down her spine, oddly in a good way.


She saw him starting to lean in and was suddenly nervous. What was he doing? Just before she got the chance to see what, he collapsed.


She caught him quickly and held him close. She helped him over to the bed and laid him down. "Staff Sergeant? Leon?" She whispered as she shook him slightly, not getting an immediate response.


(Let's not forget about his roomie, Miller. He has a second room, but he'd be able to hear them.)

Leon layed in Zara's arms gently. Breathing steadily. And then Miller woke up to look at both Leon and Zara. He wondered what they were doing but decided against it.


He stood up to walk over to his side. And looked down at Leon. He didn't really like Leon much so he chuckled a little before heading out of the room.


Leon whispered under his breath. "Love... War... But my heart is.. For her.." His face turned a bright red. He looked up into Zara's eyes and blushed even worse than he already was.


(Not really sure what to do with him yet. )

Zara glared at Miller as he laughed. One of his comrades was probably hurt, and he was laughing.


She looked down as she heard Leon whisper. Her eyes widened and her cheeks flushed. She saw him blush as he looked into her eyes, only making her blush worse.

Leon reached up gently and caressed Zara's cheek. He looked deep into her eyes and gave a smile. "Is this really something more powerful than war?..." He asked quietly.


(I think I'm gonna make him mean and will leave comrades behind in battle. xD )

Zara blushed still and watched as he caressed her cheek. She glanced down at him and returned the smile.


She then tilted her head. "What do you mean?" She whispered, blinking once. She licked her lips and blushed.

Leon blushed very badly and gently leaned in towards Zara. He whispered quietly: "This..." Then, he gently kissed her lips gently. Giving her a soft, open mouthed kiss as he closed his eyes.


He pulled back afterwards, blushing even worse than he had before.

Zara's eyes widened as she felt his lips on hers. After a moment she returned the kiss, closing her eyes. She broke the kiss when he did and her eyes shot open.


She blushed and gasped, looking down at her lap.

Leon sat up slowly and looked around the room. "I.. Uh.." He whispered and gently placed his hand on her knee. "I've... Never felt this.." He whispered again and blushed more.


His heart was thumping and racing in his chest. Not knowing what to do now.

Zara blushed and looked down at his hand. She blinked and listened to him intently. She glanced up at him, her eyes shining.


"Neither have I.." She whispered. She leaned forward and placed her lips on his. Her hands moved up unto his hair, her fingers tangling through his dark hair.

Leon blushed very badly and kissed back slowly. Closing his eyes and holding her cheek gently and lovingly. "I've always loved battle.. I never knew.." He kissed her deeply again.


Every while he had to breathe but he wished he didn't. He enjoyed feeling Zara's lips on his.

Zara smiled and continued to kiss Leon. She laid down on her back and pulled him down over her. She paused to breathe and cupped his face in her hands, their faces close together.

Leon laid on top of her gently. Not putting too much pressure on her but leaving enough so she knew he was there. He blushed worse after this and kissed once a little deeper. His face flush with blush.


He looked deep into her eyes, her gorgeous eyes, and smiled as he breathes in and out.
