[Shining Glass, Molten Souls] Between the lines

In the Asset's perception, you are there, thus it is yours. He's still coming to terms with the whole 'personal possessions' thing. Being that for the longest time, he was a possession.

Ok with your report of the three days. Ysabell has a new flatmate. Grandfather Schild is a nice guy :) , quite powerful.

I don't think Ysabell has told a lot of things to Sophia, she prefers explaining it without using a phone or a email adress. She has just told she has very important things to tell her and that she needs her advice as soon as possible.

I understand. The problem is that the on-screen scene is a "we're Exalted, so what now?" scene mixed with a dash of mad science, and Sophia would not invite Ysabell to that without knowing more about her and Alexander. So there are three options. (1) Ysabell has said enough that Sophia can guess (she already suspects that Tyrell has alchemicals). (2) They had a meeting prior to this which we take as read. (3) We take that first meeting now.

(1) has the problem of skirting the edge of what our characters would be willing to do, but Sophia has some knowledge on secure communication and could probably set something up.

(2) means that this will not be their first meeting, which will be weird.

(3) will break the flow of the scenes.

I vote for (1). What is your opinion Captain? I guess that Ysabell asked for Alexander's advice.

Sorry, I didn't get an alert about this.

"The Alert system is working perfectly."

Yeah, (1) is the soundest option. It may well be that Sophia and Ysabell have spoken about her encounter in the car park previously, which might be what tacked her onto 'Corporate Alchemical Exalted' thing in the first place. In that way, Ysabell could talk pretty freely about Alexander on an unsecured line just by mentioning 'that strange guy I told you about X time ago'.

Captain Hesperus

One small thing. As expalined early on, Sophia's worskhop is outside the gates, and unless we want to break continuity, that's whe we'll meet.

But I really should be sleeping, so no rush.

Edit done. Sorry for the mistake. It leaves all three of you a bit of time to discuss before the arrival of Alexander and Ysabell :) .

Mmm, I'm not entirely sure how to move this on. Alexander kicking in the door would be suitably dramatic, but seems a tad out of character ;)

Well I left it that Alexander had seen Sophia and Sorrow entering the shack, so you could always hear the car engine and go investigate?

Captain Hesperus

I thought of that, but it seemed to me like Alexander would be unlikely to let Ysabell drive that close.

Well, she'd need to turn around and with it being a sporty car in a quiet area, there'll be some engine noise at least. Or you could catch a glimpse of the car through a window/on a CCTV monitor.

Captain Hesperus

@Captain, we're moving pretty quickly, so I was just wondering if that was in response to my big reveal post or the one before it.

This one:

Esbilon said:
"Ysabell is safer here than she is most other places," Sophia asserts, frowning slightly at Alexander, "and more importantly, here we can do something to understand what the hell is going on. There are two other men in my workshop, Mathis and Sorrow. They're friendly and not exactly ordinary people either." She looks at Alex in silence for a moment, then says, "you work for Tyrell Enterprises, right?"
Captain Hesperus

I'm feeling really under the weather so I'll not be posting for a few hours while I get some much needed sleep. I'll catch up in the morning, so just assume Alexander follows along quietly and does as he's asked.

Captain Hesperus

There seem to be less than frantic activity in our current act... Is everyone waiting for the others to post?

I think so. Apparently bringing everyone together wasn't as good a way of getting a lot of play as I'd hoped ;)
