Act 4 posted! And Act 2 is moving damn fast! Kudos to you both, Emie and Captain!


You still have to decide how to... settle before I close the act. And giving a look at those suitcases could be useful, since you went to the troubles of taking them.


Edit : It just poped into my mind : this would make for a great sitcom. I mean, the pitch writes itself! "She is a shy political activist with an overbearing family! He is a deadly assassin working for a shadow organisation! Watch them struggle to live together this Saturday a 7pm, on the Premiere of My Robot Roomate"


Edit 2 : Okay, My Robot Roomate is officially a sitcom that exists in Velennia. Althought it's probably not about Alchemical-Lunar cohabitation.

Heh! Saddest thing is? The Asset's probably only ever watched TV for training or briefings. He's never had the opportunity to see a sit-com.


As an aside, I'm assuming that the Jade key is some sort of artefact masterkey, i.e. touch a lock, spend motes, lock opens. If that's the case, then at least the mask can come off. And the cases can be opened...

I don't think I've remembered to say how much I like the soundtracks for the intro scenes. Usually, I'm not much for those kinds of details, but it really works.
 
I agree, I like to start the soundtrack and listen to it as I read the intro. They do go together well, I find.

Technically, she is a courtesy countess. She has not titles of her own, but her mother has several (Duchess, Countess and Baroness), thus she, as the eldest daughter, is allowed to use the second fanciest one.
 
The Asset doesn't mind. He just sees 'Target' or ''Non-target'...

Even if Ysabell has quite liberated sexual habits (you might notice that she had several lovers) , I don't think the Naked Man is the best way to get her :P

That said, I find it unlikely that the Asset has never observed intercourse, or heard it referred to as 'sex'.

trolling here but what needs to happen now is for a strange woman to knock on the door to give Ysabelle a package that came while she was out and see her brother in the living room, her brother who is supposed to be in Nexus and had said he wasn't going to be able to come home for another couple of months... only he's not the brother she thinks he is....

The usual rule is 8 motes per hour of rest, so barring exceptional circumstances or ST fiat, all of them.


As for opening the cases, Ysabell might know that Sophia is pretty handy at breaking through electronic security measures.
