Hotaru was born into the infamous Yoru family, known for the assassinations they do for money. Hotaru likes to keep to himself for the most part, he was always told as a child that emotions were for the weak. Hotaru knew nothing outside of the family, and carried out assassinations on many political officials. It wasn't until recently when he was carrying out a contract that his state of mind started to change.

Ame grew under the strict and harsh care of her parents, who were generals of the army. Because of this, she was unmatchable in terms of combat, speed, and strength. Despite her parents telling her to trash her emotions, she is full of energy and tends to show her emotions on her face. However, when on missions, she is serious and tries to get things done quickly. Because of her innocent-like and carefree personality, people wouldn't even suspect her as one to kill for others, but looks can be very deceiving.
