_______Welcome to the continent of Verraqia where magic and technology move freely within and around each other. On the continent of Verraqia, there are two types of magic: Natural Magik, and Human Magic.

_______Natural Magik is the magic found in all Originals such as dragons, fairies, whips, elves, sprites, etc. This magic is pure but often impossible to replicate. The magic of these creatures comes from within them, and they interact with it as they would any other form of energy or life.

_______Human magic is different. Humans are unable to interact with the magik of the world in the same way as other magical species, whether due to evolution or a lack of understanding. Instead they developed Magic (with a C) after watching Dragons and Fairies. When compared to Magik, Magic is far more technical, like a science.

_______When a human activates their magic for two long certain things can happen. These can typically are ailments to the body, that require cleansing of the body and mind. It can even, sometimes, result in death.

_______All Technicians typically specialize in one type of magic and the magics are separated or grouped together by similarity of the magic. There are ten spells within each magic type. There are required spoken words, as well as magic circles, and runes that are drawn on an artifact. Spoken words must be learned and artifacts used in order to use a spell. These categories are defined as Technician classes. There are said to be some who are able to craft spells without the use of spoken words or artifacts.

_______In the Human Kingdoms, and cities on Verraqia, Technicians are highly sought after and coveted individuals who have passed a Magic test that has certified them as Technicians. Being a Technician is not a job, however, and each Technician must then join a job known as a Trade (see below).

_______In order for a Technician to become a Master Technician they must pass a specialized test, but unknown to the populace a candidate will only pass if they are connected to an innate use of magic. A Technician must be able to use magic without the use of artifacts and spells in order to be Masters, but this is a tightly kept secret. Only a few Technicians have the capabilities and gift to become a Master Technician.

Artifacts
_______These are objects where the magic circles and runes for a specific spell are drawn. When used in conjunction with the spoken words, they create the spell. They are necessary for the completion of a spell. Artifacts can be any and everything. Typically only one spell is inscribed onto a singular object. For there to be more spell inscribed is very hard to accomplish. An artifact that contains all the magic circles of all magic spells in a class are said to be Myth Artifacts.

_______Artifact Mediums are mediums used to reveal truths. They are used by those specializing in Time magic only, for spells for the past and the future. These can be carrot cards, crystal balls, mirrors, crystal manacles, goggles, whatever suits the Technician.

Time Spells
_______Freeze - Freeze a moment, or person in time.
_______Replay - Witness a scene in the past. Requires a Artifact Medium to look back through (crystal ball, glass, etc) and an object for medium of transfer (looking back in its past). Objects Only. (ex. I have a hat. I want to see where the hat has been. Activate the spell. Touch the hat. See through the crystal ball)
_______Locate - A spell cast upon an object that reveals its path in time
_______Vision - Being able to see from another perspective in the same time. Requires an Artifact medium.
_______Reveal - Witness a scene in the future. Requires a medium of transfer. Is revealed through an Artifact Medium words/riddles or pictures.
_______Clone - To create an image of a clone in time
_______Arrow - A form of accelerated time compressed into the form of an arrow. It degrades all that it touches
_______Shield - Creates a barrier of slowed down time in order to block attacks
_______Restore - To bring a place or scene or damage back to it’s time time before damage
_______Vanish - To change the memories of time of an individual.

Spacial Spells
_______Space - creating a space of control for creation
_______Warp - To warp the shape of a creation or object
_______Crush - To destroy something with pressure
_______Fly - The ability to fly and make other things fly
_______Halt - stop an objects motion
_______Bind - bind an object to another (can manifest in chains, ropes, or just as a gravitational pull)
_______Gravitron - changing the gravity on an object
_______Revert - To return all changed places or objects to an undamaged state.
_______Adapt - To change the structure of one thing or multiple things, by adding them together.
_______Scope - to build the blueprints for a design and then to know exactly the materials required in order to make or create it

_______Base Heal - Simple healing of exterior wounds
_______Major Heal - To heal major exterior wounds
_______Deep Heal - Healing of internal injuries
_______Remedy - To heal of basic disease
_______Cure - To heal of major diseases

_______Augment - To add prosthetics for to the body, nerve control, or plastic surgery
_______Mercy - To kill a subject without pain or suffering.
_______Sway - Control over the body of a target, through the control of their blood. This is called Violation by those who do not use it

_______Trades are the jobs within Verraqia, while this isn’t a complete list of all Trades, it is a list of the ones most known for recruiting Technicians.

_______A Tradesmith is the name of a worker who works for a Trade. Since not all humans work for trades (some are farmers, guards, politicians, etc.) this is what makes the distinction between a highly skilled worker and just a run of the mill worker. A person can build a sword but unless they were apprenticed under a Trade they are not a Blacksmith. There are tests for those who were unable to apprentice but mastered a craft, in order to be qualified as a Tradesmith.

_______When a Tradesmith masters their Trade they are known as a Master Tradesmith.

Types of Trades
_______ATTU Tradesmith: These are Tradesmiths of any Technician class or otherwise who work for the ATTU.

Government
_______Gatesmiths: High end detectives in a world where there is no DNA testing, or cameras.
_______Teachsmiths: Teachers for Magic or normal education across the continent.
_______Cleansmiths: These Tradesmiths specialize in cleaning up magic messes. Have a child who has caused themselves to become blue? Have a massive illusion that must come down? These Tradesmiths can help you! While the Trade does require Technicians, none Technicians may join for other clean up efforts, such as psychological help, or mediating tension between Technicians and non-magic Humans.
_______Medicalsmiths: These Tradesmiths are healers. This is a nonexclusive Trade, although Technicians tend to do better and become Masters more often.

_______Safesmiths: A Technician only Trade. High end guards, and police staff. They are part of the magical units made of two and are a specialty Trade.
_______Magesmiths: A Technician only Trade. These Tradesmiths specialize in either offensive or defensive magic. They may also work as guards, soldiers, explorers, anything. They are the least confined to a specific job, but specialize in their magic.

_______Viewsmiths: A Technician only Trade. These Tradesmiths are known for their ability to predict the future.
_______Guardiansmiths: Also known as Fairy Godmothers, these Tradesmiths work to make the dreams of little girls and boys come true. They are an exclusive Elementals only Trade, where the Elemental must be specialized in multiple elements.


Building
_______Blacksmiths: Known as the weapon creators. Technicians in the Trade are skilled with making weapons suited for the body of another, as well as imbedding the weapon with other forms of magic.
_______Seamsmiths: Known as fabric and cloth creators. They are skilled with clothing. Technicians in the Trade are skilled with making weapons durable to magic, and can also imbed magic into the fibers for spells within the cloth.
_______Gearsmiths: These Tradesmiths focus on making objects and are crafty with their hands. All buildings infrastructure, machinery (trains, cars, etc) are built by them. Engineers.
_______Archsmiths: These Tradesmiths focus on making objects and are crafty with their hands. All buildings and cities layouts are made by them. Architects.
_______Designsmiths: These are the inventors of the world. They often are also specialized in Gearsmithing or Archsmithing. They are aiming to change the world for the better.

_______Leathersmiths: A Technician only Trade. A specialty type of Seamsmiths who focus on leather only. They are a specialized Trade who help other Trades with concealing magical weapons, clothes, or mechanics. They can create the skins for Replicas.
_______Bodysmiths: A Technician only Trade. These Tradesmiths create Replicas, creatures built from solid metal and/or leather, that act like Originals. They also can modify the bodies of Originals for control to create A.M.O.s or Altered Mechanical Originals.
_______Alchemysmiths: A Technician only Trade. These are what are known as alchemists and often work hand in hand with Designsmiths and Medicalsmiths, in order to create new medicines and technology, through the use of multiple magics.

Organizations and Families

Affiliate Tradesmith and Technician Union:
_______The one union that all other organizations, families, or individuals are a part of. Mastery of a trade makes one an official member of the ATTU. One must register either with the ATTU individually or within a organization associated with the ATTU. The ATTU controls all rankings for Technicians and Tradesmiths. This ranking determines the classification of the member as well as any potential missions that they may request. Only official members may select missions given by the ATTU. They may report their mission successes and failures to any branch office across the continent.

Flyte & Thorne United:
_______One of the Affiliate Tradesmith and Technician unions within the continent. They are a highly respectable and highly exclusive organization requiring strict credentials to join. Once joined, one can never leave and must abide by the by laws of F&T U. They are officially seen as neutral but often called the dark grey of neutral, as they are often more bureaucratic in their mission selection and views of the world. Members of this organization are said to have mysterious and dark backgrounds and their member control is often considered questionable. They are one of the, if not the most, powerful and dangerous organizations in the world. They are also a five star organization.
_______ All high ranking members in their organization are S rank or above, or have the capabilities of S rank or above. In the last decade Flyte & Throne has recruited multiple individuals and so their overall ranking is lower at the moment than the traditional 10s across the board. It is said that every single member of Flyte & Throne United will be A ranked or above, and a few within the group will be SS or even SSS. Only the ATTU knows the full extent of their company numbers.

At the bottom of the request form there is a tab with a case number. One must then take this number and their request to the nearest ATTU office and register the request there.

Technicians:
_______ Technician Rating (Star system): These are a rating of stars five to zero (for beginners only), that takes into account the amount of missions, completion of those missions. These rankings are certified by the ATTU, and provided to potential clients as proof of Technician ability. (Since people understand stars better than Letters.)
_______ Technician Rankings: These are rankings that are given a rank from SSS (Highest) to E (Lowest). This rank is calculated by the amount of missions, the mission grades, success rates, and power levels. These rankings are certified by the ATTU, and tested by the ATTU.
