Maia stood, her (artificial) back straight, among the other 'Maia's, all with somewhat different appearance. They were to be presented to a select group of people, who would each choose one of them once formalities were over for testing. Those were some of the only things she knew, along with basic things, mostly things about humans, and how they were all different. All the 'Maia's were exactly the same at this point. Eventually, there'd be certain 'kinds', enough to be a variety without being ridiculous. She knew every single human was different, though. It was strange to think there could be so many different 'kinds' of humans. She wondered what kind she would get, even though the thought felt unnecessary. She let go of the thought and cleared her mind as she waited for everyone to come in.
