Cool. ^^

Name: Rosaleen (Rosa, for short)

Age: 17

Personality: Extremely friendly and childish. Usually people get annoyed with her because she is normally so hyper and playful. She can be very stubborn, but doesn't get embarrassed or nervous about much of anything.

Appearance:

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_07/57a8bfe8a6004_Rosaleentheshapeshifter.PNG.3dcb7639f2f3ef204b8e7eb6fd9786b0.PNG" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="24731" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_07/57a8bfe8a6004_Rosaleentheshapeshifter.PNG.3dcb7639f2f3ef204b8e7eb6fd9786b0.PNG" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

She also has a black hoodie. Her eyes are a bright, shining green.

She has those 2 knives and a bottle of pepper spray for self defense.
So what should we do for the plot or story-line?

What if the shape shifter was an experiment at a lab and she breaks out. But she collapses from exhaustion and my character would find her and bring her to his apartment. And they could be trying to keep her safe and away from the scientists who are looking for her?

(I'm going to kinda skip like how she broke out of her cage or wherever she was held.)

Rosaleen sprinted away from the yelling. She was in the lab, and was frankly, sick and tired of being an experiment. She leaped over a table and in mid-air, shape shifter. Her bones shrunk moved and feathers pokes from her skin. Her face was replaced be a beak, and the tawny colored falcon swooped higher into the air and out of reach. They had been trying to surround her, and now they were just under her, yelling orders up at her. Stupid people... They think I'll listen? She thought with a mental laugh. Easily she flew along the ceiling, but suddenly something likea bullet whisked past her and she froze.

Looking down, she saw a few people holding things that resembled guns. Sleeping darts or something probably. Crap... She thought. Suddenly she shot away, flapping her wings wildly and trying to hide behind things whenever she could to avoid being shot. She would never get another chance of escape if she was caught.

Another dart went past her beak, and she paused and let it pass. Then she dove down with a screech of triumph, and disappeared out an open window. There were more angry screaming, but she didn't pay any heed and kept on getting as far away from the building as she could.

It was nearly an hour later, that she was growing exhausted. She saw some form of building in the distance, and wanted to get to it. Maybe she could get help.

When she finally got closer enough to clearly see it -her better bird vision helped-, she lowered herself to the ground and shape shifted. She meant to keep walking, but after barely a step, her legs gave away and she collapsed in the grass. Her vision swam, but eventually went black and Rosa went limp. (Sorry it was so long.)

(It's fine, I intend to make my intro around that size)

Owen ran a hand through his hair wearily as he strolled down the dimly lit road. Light posts scattered here and there to make sure he wasn't going to walk into the road. He took a small breath before fixing his glasses, the unnatural lights catching them a moment and reflected off. It was another cool night one which made him where his jumper despite the earlier heat of day. Stray cars would pass every once in awhile but other then that there was only small amounts of sound.

The rustling of the tree branches, the slight hum of insects mixing with the small click of his shoes on the pavement. That's why he didn't quite mind the grave yard shift, the silence. Owen always enjoyed the calm scenery which the usually bustling road would take in the days sun. The thin air escaping him in small puffs as he neared his apartment complex. But he paused for a moment when a large gust of wind brushed past him. His shoulders tensing as he shut his eyes, but when he opened them he nearly fell back.

Before him laid a girl, and although he was witnessing her taking her breaths he still dove forward his book bag jingling beside his leg.

"Miss?" Owen questioned submissively as he turned her onto her back brushing her bangs from her shut eyes.

"I'm going to help you..." He murmured despite the fact that he knew she was unconscious before wiggling his arms below her. Wrapping them under her knees and behind her back before buzzing himself into the complex and sneaking past the staff women at the front desk. Owen road up the elevator to the fourteenth floor and strutted to his room frantically. Before struggling to get his keys and unlocking the door, walking in and shutting the door immediately afterwards before walking to his room and setting the girl down upon his bed.

Owen got a wet rag and set down on the girls forehead quietly before retreating outside of the room leaving the door shut behind him. Sitting down in his living room in a position that made it easy for him to see whether or not the girl was awake leaving the room. He silently ran a hand through his hair stressfully, attempting to stay awake but at some point fell into his light slumber.

(His room,

(Ooh very nice room)

A few hours later, around midnight, Rosaleen fluttered her eyelids open. Finding herself inside a building she shot up and frantically looked around, her eyes wide. Was she back in the lab? Slowly she looked down to see she was sitting on a bed. The scientists would never bring her to such a place... So had someone else found her? Very slowly she got to her feet, and crept silently toward the door to peer out carefully.

She saw someone on the couch. He didn't look like a scientist. And he looked exhausted.

Owen laid upon the couch quietly a small white pup sleeping on his chest comfortably as he took small breaths. His glasses where crooked on his sleeping form, the bridge of it digging into the side of his nose annoyingly. At the quiet patter of steps from his room he stirred a bit as the small husky was shaken awake from the movement. It's head bobbing upwards as it strained to open it's eyes to meet the girls who stood by the door. Suddenly it let out a small chirp pouncing off of Owens chest and running towards the girl. The action awoke the red head rubbing his head as he sat up and fixed his glasses.

"Tick," he whispered into the darkness,

"I told you we had a visitor be quiet pl-" he stopped mid sentence as his eyes locked with the same girl.

"You're awake.." Owen simply murmured.

She eyed the dog, and in a few moments, the little fur-ball was running at her. It startled her, and she wanted to get away from it, but it's owner suddenly awoke and she looked over at him, temporarily ignoring the dog. "Yes." She said, her tone hoarse. she cleared her throat, and slowly looked back down at the dog.

Owen swung his legs off the couch and onto the ground yawning a bit as he stretched a bit before stepping into the kitchen removing a glass from the shelf and filling it with some water.

As Tick sniffed the girls foot quietly before getting onto her back legs and hopping around wishing to be picked up by the girl. The sight made the red head chuckle as he approached the girl cautiously holding out the water,

"Sorry I saw you out on the street and didn't want anyone bad to get a hold of you." Owen spoke sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand.

"I could drive you back to your parents house, or you could call them. I have a phone."

Rosaleen glanced down at the dog, trying not to appear wary. All the dogs she had seen were large and quite menacing. They were used to guard the lab or something else. Like a dangerous experiment or something.

Very slowly she brought her gaze back up at Owen, confusion clear on her face.

"What?" She asked. She had heard him, but had no idea what he was talking about.

Owens eyebrows knitted together in confusion as well as he was unsure as to why the girl didn't seem to get what he was saying.

"Parents." He repeated, "a mother and father? They look after you and raise you until you're around 18." He explained becoming concerned about the girls health and wondering if she had.memory loss from whatever predicament caused her to fall unconscious.

"Oh..." She trailed off. She had no idea if she had parents. She had been alone as long as she could remember, and in that lab.

She wanted to explain she didn't have any, but for the people like him, having parents seemed like it was extremely common. She didn't want to appear too out-of-the-ordinary. She could end up getting in trouble, or sent back. Rosa didn't think she was 18 either.

Seeing as she wasn't takign the glass of water he lowered his hand and looked at the picture of himself and his younger sister on the wall from a couple years ago. Before realising something,

"Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to be rude I didn't know you where an orphan." He spoke frantically hoping he hadn't hurt the girl in any way.

She only seemed more confused but suddenly a thought hit her. She needed to look like she hadn't just escaped from some lab. She needed to at least try blending in. She tried to wipe the confused look form her expression before he could see, and then shrugged, "It's ok."

Owen let out a small sigh of relief before yawning covering his mouth with his hand blinking tiredly as if it where going to relieve him of his exhaustion.

"Good," he gave a small smile, "so um do you want something to eat? Are you hungry?" He motioned to walk in kitchen,

"I wouldn't mind preparing something."

She glanced at the kitchen. "I'm a little hungry, yes," She admitted, thought was uncertain if she wanted to pester him to make her something. he seemed extremely tired. "You don't need to make anything, a small snack type of food would be fine," She gave a small smile.

Owen pointed at her as he strolled in the direction of the kitchen,

"Alright, I can promise an at least three star meal. But that depends on whether or not you like grilled cheese sandwhichs." He stated eyeing her as he waited for her opinion on whether or not she was fine with the choice of food.

"Can't say I remember having one," She said, slowly following him inside the kitchen. The lab never fed their experiments actual food. It was usually more of... Well, mush. Occasionally there were fruits or vegetables however. They were never fresh though.
