Would I have be able to have him able to access some kitsune features in his humanoid form? So for example claws, fangs, night-vision, etc?

That should be fine, rules of the world allow it in a couple ways.

1. It could be from magic where he specialises in nature magic and can use him magical abilities to give himself some fox features while remaining in human form
   
   
2. Shapeshifters often have a halfway form where they're not fully human but they're not fully shifted either. This seems to match pretty closely with what you mentioned

It's all just personal preference! I think it's awesome you're doing a race that's just vastly underused. I don't see a lot of giants, or half giants, for the matter. So, we get to see more diversity in that sense! Can't wait to see more of your character!

I've never been one to follow convention. Not to mention that nobody really explores Giants and half Giants as anything more than mindless brutes. A lot of cultures actually have really rich history about Giants and their offspring. I like to explore those things. Mythology has always been a big thing for me. Especially Giants. Maybe it stems from the fact that I'm 6'11" 430 lbs. IRL.

DeathUnchained helped me realise that I never quite made it clear how The Seal recruits people.
This will be updated in the Lore Page, but just gonna put it here so y'all have it since so many of you have already started cooking so wonderfully.
Basically, the same way they mark their targets with letters, they mark their recruits with letters. So your character would have gotten a letter from The Seal that looks very much like the ones the give to nobles, except yours isn't blank. It reads:

You know us.

We know you.

Meet us at the city gates at sunrise.

As you can imagine, if you don't come alone, they don't show up.
If you tell authorities, they don't show up.
If you don't come at all, you never hear from them again.

Similar to the Kitsune question, I'd say that it depends how deep you wanna lean into dwarven folk lore/what racial abilities the dwarves have.
