Shades of Grey (Myself and Syrrus)

StartingOver

Two Thousand Club
People with powers are special abilities as you would call it in the common world were saved for people in comics or movies, it wasn't something viewed as real life by anymeans in till the government started a underground facility to find and train these people. They kidnapped and captured six children, brainwashed them to forget everything they knew and attempted to make them into soldiers. This didn't work as one by one they awoke from their trances and escaped. The government now has a problem as six special powered people are running around on the loose, so they tried another time with six new teens. These teens were lead to believe that the first six had kidnapped them and it was all their fault for them being locked away. So they trained wanting to hunt them down and bring them back.

Starting.

"It's almost time!" Tor gave grin as she clapped her hands together in childlike glee. "Almost time to go hunting." she gave a evil grin looking at the picture of Max in her room.

"The things I'll do to you... or make you do for me!" Tor pulled away and got dressed. She pulled on jeans and a black tank top, she covered the tank top with a green jacket that she left unzipped. Tor looked in the mirror her green eyes glowing she pulled her hair out of her face and placed her contacts in.

"Righty-o!" she walked out of her room and down into the meeting room.

Lucifer, like he enjoyed calling himself even though it clearly wasn't his real name was already sitting in the meeting room, on a chair made out of plant life, with his feet on the table no less. He was dressed in his usual outfit, which wasn't much. A long dark green coat with a high collar, a top hat in the same colour which kept his brown hair slicked neatly back over his head. His face was one of a mans, a sharp jaw line and a even sharper nose. His lips was almost nothing but a line upon his face and he often managed to either look frustrated or superior, hence the distinct wrinkle lines over his long forehead.

The man was playing with his pocket watch, moving it between his fingers like a stress toy while waiting, rather patiently for his so called companion. He couldn't for the life of him understand why he had to deal with another villain for longer than a short meal and a casual conversation. To have to hunt with someone, with a girl no less made him rather annoyed. Hence why her used the watch as a stress toy to begin with.

Tor opened the door and walked in.

"Hey Lucy." she grinned eyeing him and sitting across the table from him.

"How's life?" Tor wasn't scared or intimidated by Lucifer in anyway. Tor was insane most of the time, but she was very insanes and unstable when Max was brought up.

"Today is the day!"

The man could do nothing but roll his eyes and continue to play with his watch. This was one of the most unpredictable and frustrating villains this city had to offer, why had Gaia but him in such a despicable place? He couldn't even remember what he had promised or how he had decided to follow up on this.

"It seems so... And don't call me Lucy, she-devil." He said, removing his feet from the table so he could lean his arm against it instead, and stare up at her with narrowed eyes. "Today is indeed the day well watch your beloved little heroine run away like all the other times you are involved. It's going to be fun, I am sure."

Tor grinned and leaned in looking at him in the same manner.

"I'm no devil Lucy, but you are right." she giggled and watched as files slid across the table.

Tor stopped hers with one finger and opened it.

"I know all this crap." she muttered.

"Perhaps if you knew it well enough we couldn't have to join up and chase this pathetic heroine of yours." Lucifer stated as he opened his own file, given to him by a long and thorny whine. It didn't contain any new information, not even a reason to why this was so bloody important. He had other things to do, other heroes to murder violently. He assumed it all had to wait, as soon as this had failed he could go back to his job.

"I hate her, but don't treat her as if she's under you, when she turns on her jets you won't be able to see her." Tor's eyes flicked up from the paper and looked at him.

"If you can get a hold of her, which I doubt, then you will have done your job."

Tutting the man tossed the files a side. "And who said I was going to lay a finger on her? Sure she had the speed, but what good does that do you when the ground beneath your feet is caving in on itself?" As Lucifer spoke, the ground began to shake and as it opened up before him the table which he had been leaning against feel into the depths of blackness. He controlled nature, like Gaia's servant, he would shake the entire planet into pieces, would he feel compelled to.

"The point isn't to hurt her." Tor said watching the table fall.

"They." she motioned to the camera." want her alive." Tor stood and walked to the door.

"You do enjoy the paychecks right?"

Lucifer sighed and let the floor below them go back to normal before he got up from his home made seat and followed her, not to close, as they excited the building. "I am interested in eating, which I can very well do on my own. The only reason why I agreed to this is for the challenge." So he did remember, it seemed rather simply now when he thought about it.

"Well how much does the idea of having a servant tickle your fancy?" Tor leaned her head back and said.

"I have a feeling this hunt will take longer then we think so no need to turn her in right when we get her."

"Why would I be interested in servants? I have my plants, they do everything I ask without me having to say a word." Lucifer looked down upon the little woman, raising an eyebrow. "You are so petty..." He muttered as he walked further down the corridor, thinking very little about their mission ahead.

Tor smiled more and shook her head.

"Now now is there any need to call me names?" she turned and walked backwards.

"I'm just acting out because nobody loved me growing up!" she pouted up at him.

"Yes, sure. And I'm this way because I got stung by a poisonous vine." He chuckled to himself. That would have been the day. It was hardly true, but it would still have been extremely funny.

Tor smiled.

"I like you Lucy." Tor said turning back around. "You get my jokes, thats goes along way this girl." Tor shrugged her shoulders as they got into to garage. "If you keep this up you might be able to take me out."

"To kill you or date you? For I rather not dwell on the second." He said, making a rather disgusted face. He wasn't interested in this little girl, he didn't want much to do with her, nor any other woman or man for that matter. He didn't like many and the few he tolerated annoyed him anyway.

"I like movies!" Tor said gleefully. She looked over and found the car.

"Okay this is the one, you want to drive or me? Tor asked looking over.

"I don't drive." The man said, frowning slightly upon the sight of the car. "It destroys the eco system." He added, unloving causing roots and flowers to grow out of his air like mushrooms. He in fact hated cars, and most things that the modern society had invented. Except of course the camera, the camera was always very useful

"You do realize without the eco-system my powers would be rather useless?" It was a rather simple fact, but he doubted rather highly that Tor would understand anything simple, nor antything... of other kinds. He got in the car however, after wiping the seat clean with the back of his hand.

"I know what the Eco system is hippy." Tor said taking off fast.

"Believe it or not I'm not stupid, I'm just insane."
