Personality/Attitude: Growing up with heavy pressure from her family, as well as disdain because of her condition Coralin tends to be very shy and soft spoken. Coralin prefers to be by herself or within nature. Unlike her demeanor she can snap rather easily if someone knows how to push her in the right directions, often times her spite will know no bonds and has killed others before. Otherwise she will make it her mission to not stand out and keep out of others' ways.

Skills/Talents: Coralin has a Music-related memory which allows her to remember everything about a song she might have listened to once, as well as a piece of sheet music. She is very good at paying attention to things around her, even if they aren't interacting with her. Also she is a ridiculously good swimmer.

Power: Like all Sirens she can sing and entrance others. She can also transform if enraged, though it tends to be rather painful.

Personality/Attitude: As the youngest of 13 children, Sapphire has turned out to be the furthest from her mother. Where her mother entices and teases , Sapphire has innocence and sweetness. Although her nymph condition has made her very aware of what people mean, she acts oblivious. She, for the most part, doesn't like the idea of what a nymph is and tries her best to not be like her siblings or worst of all, her mother. Carefree and spirited, the girl would've probably fit in better as a human than she would her own people. She is a bit sensitive and conscious of her appearance while also being overly romantic and a dreamer.

Sapphire does have a serious side, though it normally comes out when someone has decided to try and act bigger than what they are and needs to be put back in their place. The other time is when she loses herself to her instinctive nature as a nymph. Unable to sate her own lust she becomes dominant and predatory, pulling the strings of any sin like they were a puppet to dance to her whim. Sure she couldn't control them like a Siren, but driving them mad with desire and lust isn't out of the question. She promises sweet nothings and drags people into her sin and envelops them in lust. This has only happened once and has had some negative effects on Sapphire.

Think of a child. A very excitable young boy, taken to the ice cream shop with his mother to have the biggest sundae he's ever seen. That's Sammy. He's a very boisterous kid, young and full of life and goals and dreams. True he's always been a bit lazy with how he pursues them, however that doesn't stop his imagination.
He tends to let others take advantage of him, though. He's a people pleaser, he'll do anything to make others happy. He'll give up on his own goals and motivations if it means someone else is happy, which is strange for a sin such as himself, but he's always been the black sheep of the family. He enjoys being alone, most of the time, dancing by himself. He dreams of a storybook life where he ends up the happy one, however he knows deep down that it'll never happen.
As it is common with most Selkies, Sam is affectionate to no end, very affable, and although not too amorous it's still present. Sometimes he's like a lost puppy, he will attach onto a certain person and follow them around, feeling more comfortable being a follower rather than a leader.

  Caelum has natural, pure white hair that's fluffy enough to be compared to a cloud; he thanks his shampoo. It gets in his eyes at times, but he refuses to pin it up because he thinks his forehead's big.

  Although he doesn't have heterochromia, Caelum has two differently colored eyes. He has a cataract in his right eye, because of head trauma, that gives it a cloudy, pale blue appearance. His vision in that eye is rapidly deteriorating and is currently very blurred, so he usually wears either corrective round-frame glasses or a white eyepatch over that eye, depending on whether the light he's exposed to is dim or bright. His other eye is amber in color.

  Caelum's closet consists mainly of monochrome, semi-professional clothing. He's usually seen in sweaters, fitted jeans or trousers, and long overcoats. In his left ear are two dark-colored piercings, one a lobe and the other a helix, and he wears two plain black wedding bands on his dominant hand. One fits fine, but the other is used as a knuckle ring due to its size. Both are very important to him, and he'll flip if he loses them.

  Caelum is no different than the rest of his species. He holds himself in high regards and others far beneath him, as though he believes there's no one outside of his species better than him. If his character were to be down-played, what he believes to be down-played, or shown in a negative light, he's quick to become upset. However, he's also known to rile others up, either by accident or on purpose, usually with his witty quips, which contrast his usually cold demeanor. He doesn't seem to know when to stop talking, especially when to stop bragging, and isn't one to say sorry. When he finally tries to apologize, which would be in very rare happenings, he becomes extremely flustered and will have difficulty getting the words out of his mouth. Though, he typically doesn't care whether or not he gets on someone's nerves. After all, his sentences always seem to start with an "I."
  
  However, he may have a hard time convincing himself of his superiority. Caelum doubts himself and his standing at times, so he covers it up with his huge, dramatic ego. Thus, he's insanely competitive and feels like he has to prove himself. He may seem confident and unafraid to let the world know, but whenever he starts doubting himself, it shows. Usually, he prefers to be at the center of attention and will go as far as to become theatrical and fake in order to get it, but when he's uncertain about himself or his actions, he becomes indifferent and unaffected by the things around him, as if caught up in his own little world. The only thing that gets him out of that dump is time and affection, in spite of his unwillingness for it under normal circumstances.
  
  He may seem like an arrogant know-it-all, and yeah, that's exactly what he is. Largely, he's just really passionate about learning, and while he might make it seem like he's not interested, he truly enjoys listening to others talk about what they know and what they've experienced. Caelum is definitely book-smart to an inhuman point in that way, but he struggles with day-to-day interactions. He has difficulty reading social cues, recognizing slang phrases, and understanding and empathizing with peoples' emotions.
  
  The promises Caelum makes are completely inviolate, and say if he were to swear to protect someone, he'd defend them to or even past death. He believes in a code of honor and strives to uphold the dignity and majesty inherent to sylphs.

  Being a sylph, Caelum is incredibly book-smart. He's like a walking encyclopedia. Ask him a question, and he'll probably have the answer.
  His adoptive mother began teaching him the arts at a young age. He excels in ballet and has the muscular legs to prove it. He's also a fine actor; he memorizes lines easily and is known to bring energy and realism to any role.

  air manipulation - Being born of air, it's only natural he'd be able to control it, too. Caelum can generate gusts of wind to use to his advantage, but he has difficulty managing very large and or powerful ones. He can use air vectors to repeal projectiles only if they're not any bigger than what he can lift without any stress, which is about twenty pounds.
  
  air mimicry - He can, essentially, turn into air itself. This can be used to evade attacks in more serious circumstances or to pass through non-airproofed obstacles, like when he accidentally locks himself in the bathroom and can't get out. He can be moved by the wind, though, and trapped in small containers, so he has to be careful using this ability.
  
  invisibility - Caelum can also render himself unseen by the naked eye. This mainly occurs whenever he gets nervous, and he can't get out of that form until he cools down.
  
  flight - By manifesting aerokinetic wings, Caelum can fly. The condition: he can only make them out of high-wind speeds, so it takes a lot out of him. He can, however, use the wings as protection, since they act like extra limbs.
  
  atmospheric adaptation - Since he's lived his life in the sky, his lungs can acclimatize to any gaseous medium, whether hostile or deficient, to allow him to survive mountain, aerial, or terrene air deficiency and pollution.

  Caelum believes he's entitled the title of president but isn't actively pursuing it. Instead, his main goal is to meet and marry a human in order to gain immortality.

  Caelum's usually seen with a book in hand. Often, it's an old tale he's already read before; after all, he's had a lot of time in his life to read.

  Born to the air, Caelum never had a true family and instead was taken in as a little cherub by a sylph woman that went by the name Nephele. She was ancient, so much so that she was there before the older sylphs of the community, but she had only survived that long because she was immortal. His adoptive mother had married a mortal man centuries before his time and thus, gained a long, prosperous life, but since the man didn't love her like she loved him, only she received the gift. He perished before her eyes, and she, who tried to forget him by raising the children they'd never had, named Caelum, whose personality reminded her of her lover, after him. She taught him what he taught her, the arts, and helped his talents flourish.
  
  However, just decades before Caelum's arrival to the mansion, Nephele was tricked by a demon as old as herself, who knew of her story and used it against her. She was trapped on earth in a more gruesome, less dignified form. Caelum attempted to fight the demon in order to protect his mother's honor but ultimately failed, receiving the trauma to the head that caused his cataract. With the final words of the other elders, he was prohibited from seeing her, lest she forces him to join her.
  
  Caelum refuses to banish himself from the sky, but he couldn't live with himself knowing that his mother would watch the world, and him, decay and slowly die. So, he's made his mission to gain immortality in a way that wouldn't fix him to the ground, ditch the spouse, ignore the elders, and spend the entirety of his life by her side.
  
  His thoughts on the other sins are uncomplicated. For obvious reasons, he harbors a hatred for demons, or the sins of envy. He believes nymphs, the sins of lust, will get in the way of his goal, so he tries to ignore them. Above all, he prefers selkies, the sloth, because their typically submissive nature goes along well with him. Vampires, or gluttons, have always been a mystery to him, since he's never seen one. He enjoys listening to the sirens, wrath, and would love to learn music from one, despite the fact that he'd never ask for help. Caelum doesn't hold any animosity towards werewolves, or greed, but is worried about how one might act. Personality/Attitude: A bit on the narcissistic side, Victoria doesn't get along too well with many people. However, she is incredibly wise and cunning due to her longevity and experience. She is proud of herself and anything that she does must either be flawless or damn near close. She is cool-headed and very seldom gives in to her emotions, keeping herself at an upper hand in arguments, debates and gatherings. Rather than be the center of attention by being boisterous and out there, she draws attention through the way she carries and presents herself. Personality/Attitude: Nathan is considered odd amongst his peers as his personality seems to shift almost constantly throughout the day. To him socializing is too much work and cuts into his scheduled nap times. Though he does seem somewhat irritated towards the sins of pride for their arrogance. APPEARANCE // From the boogieman under your bed to the evil wraiths who blend in with the darkness of the night, Atys remains seemingly untouched by this shroud of darkness that her kin so commonly inherit. Instead, she’s the picture of her mother at the moment she fell from grace. Her hair is a snowy white softened by a dusting of pewter grey like a cloud, and her eyes are a reflection of the fickle sky, shifting from a stormy grey to a brilliant blue to a calming purple. Her appearance’s sole dedication to her race lies in her choice of hiding spots: places with dark lighting, as if to purposefully counter her abnormalities. Or such is what meets the eye.

Her “true” form which manifests during her times of anger or distress is witnessed by few, but its appearance displays her diabolical nature in plain sight. Atys herself is unsure of what kind of animal that this “eyeless beast” resembles, but she does know painfully well that a majority consider it unsightly disgusting. Herself included.

PERSONALITY // Her outer shell displays a distant kindness. The shallow waters beneath unveil an unexpected awkwardness. Finally, her core hides a deep sense of self-loathing, or rather a hatred towards the cold void called “Atys Levia” that she cannot fill.

To others, Atys is a girl who has everything. Her gentle and amiable personality draws few haters, her appearance is no less than beautiful, and her talents are various. For a demon—they conclude—she deviates an awful lot from the stereotype of an evil spirit whose only talent is trickery, leaving her nothing worth envying. However, true to her sin, she thinks of herself as someone who has everything yet nothing at the same time. If only she could attain that “something,” perhaps her life would at last be fulfilling.

Though she bears an unusual love for humans, her envy towards them is greater than that towards other species. Sylphs may have their lofty bearings, but it is the humans who are the most free from the judgement and limitations of race. It is this envy that results in her passive nature, viewing most things to have little meaning and being willing to easily discard them. As someone who avoids unnecessary discord, if it is something that they accuse her of stealing such as a place or achievement, she has no qualms of yielding it to them, though she often unknowingly angers people through this way. Incidentally, she appears to fear becoming angry herself.

○ Telekinesis - Though she has a minimal amount of influence over things that can struggle or resist (i.e. living things that move), she can remotely manipulate just about anything as long as her own physical strength can support its weight. She is also capable of lifting herself up to float around or fly, just not sky-high.

○ Intangibility/Teleportation - Atys can essentially sink into shadows to make herself intangible. It can also be used as a mode of transport by “teleporting” from shadow to shadow. Unfortunately for others, she often uses closets to do this while indoors.

○ Enhanced Condition - Her version of this isn’t much more than almost never getting sick and healing at a faster rate than most. However, she does possess a ridiculous amount of strength despite her thin frame, surprising (and sometimes freaking out) quite a number of her peers.

○ Shapeshifting - This ability is very seldom used and really only occurs when angered or distressed. Unlike other demons who might specialize in shapeshifting, Atys can only shift into one other “true” form, which she detests and would rather have nothing to do with. In this form, she is unable to use “magic,” but her size and physical capabilities are considerably amplified.

○ Energy Constructs - From sigil-like barriers to crystalline spears, Atys is capable of forming what her old friend once referred to as “creative magic” into various constructs of her choice. Though potentially deadly, they can also be used as decorations (though impermanent).

FAMILY HISTORY // Her family history wasn’t much. It was a forbidden love of sorts, yes, but nothing tragic like Romeo and Juliet. Her father, Gruen Levia, was a strange one for a demon. Rather than sugary words of deceit, the sweet nothings he whispered sang of the true affections that he held for his beloved Sylph. Sephire must have been a strange one as well, for on his promise towards forever, she departed from her dearest sky, stating that happiness came in different shapes for everyone.

Needless to say, their child, Atys, was raised fairly liberally, grown on the philosophy of happiness and love rather than that of prejudice towards the other sins. Anger flaws judgement, so do not rage. Hate only brings unhappiness, so do not spite. Your enemies may one day be friends, so love them equally...and so on and so forth. Incidentally, her esteemed actor of a father and model of a mother happened to be fairly busy people, so other than their words, their method of raising their child was rather laissez-faire.

Her grandfather who had named her must had spited her parents’ bond, for like her namesake, what she wished for always seemed just out of reach. Perhaps she was more fortunate than Tantalus, for there were more things she was given rather than denied, but it was never that “shape of happiness” that she always saw in others. First in her grade? She didn’t need it. Beauty? That’s too superficial. Money? It’s just burnable paper.

She had once thought that she had found that special something in a human she had once considered a precious friend, but everything was eventually ruined by the horrific shape of her true form. Like that of the other and even her fellow races who viewed her as an abnormality, her friend had looked upon her with disgust and—terror. Ah, maybe it was just herself who was too rotten...

THOUGHTS ON OTHER SINS

Atys tends not to pick and choose those whom she associates with, but if she had a choice, she’d typically prefer to avoid Sylphids due to various past incidences as well as their forward natures. On the other hand, she appreciates Selkies for their generally warm personalities, and does, on occasion, empathize with their tales which lack a happy ending. In short, she remains affable regardless of the other party’s race. Typical of a pacifist.
